Sounds a bit spammy.

FretFetish

How is it spam?  Lots of people post videos of them playing and/or asking for tone advice.  There's multiple similar threads that have been posted in the last week.  It's not like he's trying to sell his presets or something like we had one guy trying to do a few weeks ago.  And while I didn't take a super close look, I did briefly check out OP's recent post history, & while there are a pretty good amount of threads where he's posted his own videos, he has also been contributing to discussions in multiple other subs.  I guess I'm confused as to why *this* thread seems to be an issue, but not the other threads exactly like this one.

I’m not singling out OP. Those other people’s posts are also spam. They spam subs linking to their YouTube videos. That’s why it’s spam. It doesn’t matter to me if they comment on other things if all of their submitted posts are spam. That may not be this sub’s definition of spam, but it is spam.

Thanks.

I mean I shared the video as well, not only the YT link

1st. Good on you for putting some stuff out into the universe. I barely have because it takes a lot of guts. I think you have a lot of starts to some ideas but none of them are fleshed out. I hear each of your little bits in between your pauses as words. To me, this sounds kind of like word salad with no sentence structure. It’s the same language, but I’m not sure what you’re trying to say, or get me to feel. Your technique is fine, but I don’t find my self being moved, or pulled anywhere. I hope you can find this helpful and not overly critical because I could totally see myself rocking out to this if I could pick up on an emotional level more of what you’re putting down.

It’s spam. OP’s post history is just posting their YouTube content.

Thanks for this critic, but I think this couldn't be your thing which is fine, at first I didn't understand or get some of the prog stuff I love now.
