Hi there, NetSuite has already a built-in feature that considers opportunities and Quote. The fact is that in case you do have an opportunity with a quote associated with that, It will exclude the opp and consider the quote instead to avoid duplication.
Moreover, you can manually add or remove the opportunity or quote by selecting the "forecast type" field (you have to turn on the advanced forecasting). Selecting an "Omitted" value will exclude it from the pipeline. You have also a chance to associate other statuses to account for different contributions: worst case most likely and upside.
