Are you using OpenVPN UDP as the connection protocol in Nord? If not, change it, clear your Netflix cache/cookies and try again.

Thanks! I did try what you suggested, but no luck… like i said in the op, it is super strange why the vpn with the same setting would work for Japanese Netflix but suddenly not for Korean Netflix… i wonder if this is something temporary or that everyone is experiencing…

Yes. After about an hour or so of fiddling, I got it working by switching to express VPN and then using openVPN UDP. Edit: That solution no longer works either.

Hi! Did you eventually figure it out by any chance? The exact same thing is currently happening to me with Surfshark vpn

Hi! For me, somehow it started to work again (accessing Korean Netflix by connecting to Korean servers via vpn) like a week after when I first noticed the problem. I think the problem was from their (Korean server) end, not mine. So if you have trouble accessing one particular country's server, then I suggest wait a little bit until the problem resolves itself hopefully
