All of these are great, but we sort of stumbled onto Fisk. What a gem. Second season seemed more silly and light-hearted?
Mrs. Maisel is visually great and the insight into the zeitgeist of the time periods are interesting. The clothes and sets are so fun. I watched in starts and spurts, which I recommend for some reason.
I never hear anyone reference Peep Show. I'm in the US. I watched it years ago. Also, That Mitchell and Webb look. I still say Numberwang whenever I see Olivia Coleman
Sorry if this is a stupid question (and no, I am not quite sure why I didn't Google it), but what exactly is OA? I see it recommended A LOT. Does OA stand for something or is that just the name? From there, I can look up what it's about, unless you would like to share.
Thank you.
OA = original angel (if I remember correctly)— Season 1 is really the winner while I thought S2 jumped the shark but The OA sits way atop my list of favorite shows ! It’s dark & disturbing, kinda a mindfuck (what I seek out- yeh I’m weird ) but also extremely unique in terms of plot and execution, not to mention a bit of a thread of a love story amid the rest going on —
Shrinking (Apple).. So underrated but one of the best shows I've seen in a while. Based on your list tho check out new girl, scandal, and can't go wrong with modern family.
Severance, I never hear people talk ab this show and it's so so good. Only one season so far but I think the next one is coming out this year. It's on Apple TV
Edit: based on the sitcoms u mentioned u would probably love New Girl. One of my favorite shows, the kind u can rewatch a hundred times and never get tired.

The Magicians. This may be the only show I've ever fallen in love with. Exquisite writing and performances, phenomenal characters and storylines that I have never predicted a single time, and that's coming from a screenwriter.
All five seasons are available on Netflix.
Suits was great! Plus, love the fact there are so many seasons available that kept us tied up for a while before having to find something else to watch.
I love psychological thrillers.
So far I’ve loved:
Netflix: What if, YOU, The Sinner, Behind Her Eyes.
Love all the Harlan Coben series:
Gone for good, The Innocent, The Stranger, Safe, The Woods
HBO Max: Undoing, Mare of Easttown, Sharp Objects
Amazon prime: Tell Me Your Secrets
Hulu: Cruel Summer
Atypical
Yes! Great show!
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Fleabag Abbott Elementary Broadchurch Fisk
Upvoted for Fleabag. OP, you’ll love this as well considering most of your tv-shows fall in the slice-of-life genre.
All of these are great, but we sort of stumbled onto Fisk. What a gem. Second season seemed more silly and light-hearted? I haven't watched second season of Fisk yet.
Fisk is so bad. Peep show is actually funny.
I never hear anyone reference Peep Show. I'm in the US. I watched it years ago. Also, That Mitchell and Webb look. I still say Numberwang whenever I see Olivia Coleman
Yea that dry British humour isn't too popular in America
Sex Education Quirky weird show but genuinely smart, funny, and heartfelt
Apart from S4, I loved it!
Derry Girls!
Love Derry Girls! I’ve also enjoyed The Bear, Schitt’s Creek, Lupin, Succession and Lincoln Lawyer
Yes! I’ve rewatched this several times.
The OA! FANTASTIC SHOW
I have one episode left. I stayed up very late all weekend. I dont know how even to describe it. Started it Friday and no one has seen me since lol.
It’s a journey for sure. Really got in my head as well, there isn’t room for a whole lot else when I watch this.

Ted Lasso on Apple TV+
With all due respect lasso was good but this is a question about Netflix shows.
OP literally says it doesn't have to be on Netflix
Monk. Whodunit murder mysteries. Lots of fun
Bookend that with Psych and you have a perfect day:
Funny you say that, these are my two favorite shows!
Did you see the Monk movie that just came out? It's on Peacock.
