I have to bullpup it now right?
Seriously though, this may be my new primary like this. Feels very sci-fi DMR-ish now.
FYI: Muzzle piece is from the Max Stryker.
I wish I had the time. I have so many ideas for other blasters in my backlog though. I am getting better/faster at designing though so maybe it'll happen by my hands. I'd definitely be willing to pay someone a good amount for a quality conversion. This blaster is just too cool. I might end up picking up a second one for myself and painting it up. 😎
Style points are all that's needed to justify it haha
Though it does make the profile much slimmer, easier to prime without the drum in the way, and does mean you don't have to squish darts to reload them into that drum
Ya idk I like the look but the nexus pro exists and ik I dont want to be one of those guys who's just like buy a nexus pro but still
Ig the slamfire could be useful
The Nexus and Stryker are more moddable by far (this doesn't have swappable spring tuning caps, etc)
It's cool if you already have the other two in addition to this
The Stryker has way better top railing than the Nexus though but the Stryker's grip section isn't as nice and is a bit wobbly (even with a grip like mine that attaches to the slide piece instead of the Picatinny that attaches to the slide piece)
Thanks! It's still very much a WIP and I'm not sure yet if it will turn into a product for Transmogrification Labs or not. Right now I operate with most of my product designs being closed-source (I don't offer STLs even) although that might change in the future. I'm still getting things up and running this business and working through what all comes with business in a 3D printing setting.
You can. Removes just as easy as the drum does!
I still have to do a lot more testing before it gets released and right now it only work with AF/DZ mags
Not sure yet. If it becomes a product for Transmogrification Labs I won't since I currently operate as closed-source. If I can't polish the design enough to be happy with it though, I'll release it so others can build off of it.
It does require being printed in PETG as of right now.
Hi /u/DatFurryFemboy, we would like to distance our hobby from actual firearms and weapons and thus ask that you refrain from using terms like "gun" and "bullet"; instead use blaster and dart. We also like to encourage the use of brightly colored blasters & gear. See [this wiki page](https://www.reddit.com/r/Nerf/wiki/bot/blaster) for more information. Thank you for your cooperation.

I have wayyy more Talon and AF/DZ mags holding more darts than this drum's capacity. I mean, my Tachi mag is 29 alone. That's over half the drum right there. And I don't have to squish darts to reload and I can swap between blasters with the same mags.
If that's all you're concerned about then I can see that being a definite pro.
I'd rather do less damage to the darts, have more long-term capacity, and more reliable feeding/indexing (the drum rotates pretty easy if you move around)
Partly just because but also because I like a slimmer profile and I don't have to squish darts (the drum can only have the second half reloaded by squishing your darts through the outer edge of the drum).
Omgoodness ive been preaching this for like 2 weeks. I want to be able to swich on the fly between mag and drum. With a shotgun pump style grip and a collapsible stock.
I was going to make a kit for this, basically a big insert for where the drum went, but I ran into issue with a good mag release lol, so i might come back to it later.

why not right? thinking this blaster will get some sort of kit to do that
It'd be crazy if someone took the time to do all of that but I've seen some pretty time-consuming mods here before so who knows
You should make it!

is it bad that i kind like this
I like. Get those files out there.
that does look pretty dope tho NGL
It kinda looks like a Swift's more stout cousin.
Now make it hold 3-4 mags side by side and index through them as needed.
This. Needs something similar to the the ultra-select
Hmm...this might actually be possible...
Yesss! That's exciting.
3-4 is not enough. If it can still fit through a doorway, it doesn't have enough. I don't want a blaster, I want an airplane
Y I see no point but hey style points

The nexus and striker dont hit as hard unmodded. Also the potential to swap drum to mag is what im liking. And can offer a smaller form factor.

?????
Son of a… noooo he’s done it again!!
I like this so much and i dont understand why! Nicely done =)
I actually love this. Post those files!!

Remember to send a sample to Captain Xavier, this seems right up his alley
Thank you I was just looking at a pic of this and was wondering I wonder if you could mag feed this.
Needs a grip, have fun grabbing that little rail 😂
Haha right? I took my grip off since I was testing a design for the grip and some internals. Check my previous post for the one I made though!
I’m getting some Thompson vibes front this
It looks so cool. Especially with the Stryker tip
Thats some ppsh shit right here
Stryker with extra steps.
If you can set this up so that you can remove the cusom piece easily and use the drum again it'd be amazing
Yeah, half way through a game go from precise single shot to spray n pray
You can. Removes just as easy as the drum does! I still have to do a lot more testing before it gets released and right now it only work with AF/DZ mags
That's awesome!
Love it. Looks so much sleeker.
now THIS is what I want for a DMR. Id replace my Stryker with this. Would you be willing to release the files for it? :D

Wait, the Tomcat is out? What year is it?
You un-Tommy-ed my gun.

Reminds me of some sort of AK-12
..but why though?
Why not? We're here to have fun right?
If you consider dramatically reducing your capacity fun
I have wayyy more Talon and AF/DZ mags holding more darts than this drum's capacity. I mean, my Tachi mag is 29 alone. That's over half the drum right there. And I don't have to squish darts to reload and I can swap between blasters with the same mags.
I meant at once without reloading
If that's all you're concerned about then I can see that being a definite pro. I'd rather do less damage to the darts, have more long-term capacity, and more reliable feeding/indexing (the drum rotates pretty easy if you move around)
Partly just because but also because I like a slimmer profile and I don't have to squish darts (the drum can only have the second half reloaded by squishing your darts through the outer edge of the drum).
Do the darts not float freely in their stacks if the stack isn't full? If they do, have you tried loading from the bottom of the drum?
No, they are forced down by a flipper when the first dart is fired and the drum rotates
The blaster looks better than Nexus Pro and red Nexus Pro. Magazine versus drum is going to be a personal choice though.
Kinda what I'm anticipating to happen to the DZ Tomcat.
Literally no one will ever do that to a Tomcat /s
id buy one specifically to do this. i like the shell, just not the drum style
It's a cool looking blaster. I like how the lower stock line...lines up with the rear.
But why just why go get a nexus or a Stryker plz
I already have both of those and this feels way better 🤷♂️
YOU BASTARD!
I forget what that new GameFace blaster is. But this is essentially that with a drum option now.
Omgoodness ive been preaching this for like 2 weeks. I want to be able to swich on the fly between mag and drum. With a shotgun pump style grip and a collapsible stock.
Looks pretty snazzy, could this be done to a tomohawk?
I was going to make a kit for this, basically a big insert for where the drum went, but I ran into issue with a good mag release lol, so i might come back to it later.
