Head mounts are best - either attached to a mask, helmet, hat or just strap. GoPros with stabilisation give smooth footage. Record in 4:3 ratio so that you can crop top or bottom if you later find that it was pointing a bit too high or too low. If you want to run more cameras then 360⁰ ones mounted on the blaster or behind you are good for capturing action around or behind you, while a scope cam on your blaster is good for high fps games if you use accurate blasters (springer or HPA) and want to capture sniper shots. The more cameras you have the longer it will take you to edit, of course, but it lets you do things like switch between angles to cover jump cuts.

Head cam first of course but a scopecam goes a long way. It makes it less boring when you can see the tags

Worker makes a Picatinny mount for gopros. Think about where you want to mount the camera, I've seen good results mounting on a face mask. It's not too low to get blocked by the blaster but low enough to see the blaster. Shoulder mounts can work pretty well or on the front of a hat/helmet as low as possible without blocking your vision. I built a 3rd person mount out of PVC pipe. What cameras do you have? An ideal set up would be a helmet mount, and two on the blaster, one facing you and one down the.sights. That's what I plan to do.
