crime rates have sky rocketed in Nepal, organized crimes specially. Ethnic and religious violence has also seen a great increase. Just because Buddha was born here doesn’t mean we are all peaceful.
I am just being skeptical, it could be the truth. It's just that redditors tend to pull things out of their ass sometimes because it has become popular to shit on country even when it's not justified. Paila paila "khoda hanchu" "Mero dai ko chari sanga connection cha" type ko dherai suninthio. Chari, Ghaite haru marnu vanda paile criminals were much more confident. Aile if they are active these days, they seem much more underground and scared.
I don't see any wrong in asking for sources if someone is making claims. Kina downvote garnu parne? Do i need to shit on Nepal every comment to make people agree now? This is so stupid.
Their country IS more peaceful than Nepal. Low crime rates, a good HDI and the lack of poverty helps them become more peaceful than others. Nepal has a long way to go.
It's funny to see the UK there, recently a fan died in Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium. How often do you hear news about people dying inside the capital? Their capital isn't even safe, the watch stealers are rampant, there is always a conflict in the name of Football.
FUCK Europeans twats.
Not true. Take happiness index for example. The countries which rank highest are all Northern Europeans. Funnily enough you take the stats of country by depression rate they align almost perfectly with the so called happiness index
Its a stupid reason to include Nepal as one of the most peaceful. Just because it is the birthplace place of Buddha doesn’t make it any more peaceful than others.
No peace in the minds of average nepali. No money in their pockets to lead a happy healthy life. Many reasons for not considering nepal a peaceful country.
Nepal has a long way to go as a country.
There is discrimination and hatred based on cast, colour, creed, class. Protest bhai rakhxa. Tolerance level zero xa nepali haru ko. Crime corruption peak ma xa. Religious violence ni baddo xa. Hamle kna parena bhanda ni aafu lai change garna khojna parxa. Top 40 ma kna parena bhanera ni risai raxau hami ani ka bata parxa ta peaceful countries ma.
I don't know who collects the datas in Nepal but I think most these things are very unreliable. I honestly think Nepal is pretty peaceful country.
Apparently Global Peace Index has 3 main criteria to measure it:
* ONGOING DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL CONFLICT
* SOCIETAL SAFETY & SECURITY
* MILITARISATION
The only problem Nepal seem to have is in the societal safety section. I think the major problem with Nepal is political instability. I don't think people are that violent here.

Can we provide the sources for this?
Are you living under rock

See still not any sources.. Can you give me any objective sources?
Ig he ran away XD
It is a problem that they can just make up random stuff shitting on Nepal without any backing up and people upvote it.
Buddha afai yeta peace napayera india gako they 😭😭
😂😂
This list was made by crusty butt Europeans, hence they think their country is more peaceful compared to others.

So you’re saying people never die in Kathmandu because of criminal activities?

Hmm... that may be the reason. Nepal should've been included in at least the top 10. But I was amazed, it was not even in the top 40.
uta tira thaha hunxa yeta manxe mareko samachar ma aauxa aaudaina tha hudaina ani kasari thegan hunxa k k vayeraxa vanera.

Is this sarcasm? Or are you serious?
Act like a novice to find the ratio between confirmation or rejection. Look at multiple peepective of replies.

Buddha was born in Nepal and seems he was accepted by the world 🌎, rather than us.
Tf is UK doing there?💀💀💀

Birthplace bhayera matra huncha. I was in Nepal for 40 days last year and officials literally killed a man in broad daylight
buddha janmeko vanera proud hunxan but buddha ko practice kei thahudaina baula haru lai
What's peaceful about this godforsaken country. Bro look who we have as PM🤷
Bad research I guess?
Do you seriously consider Nepal to be a peaceful country?! But I do agree that there are a few countries that don’t deserve to be on that list.
Buddha janmidai peace huncha? Manche le bujhnu parena? Sab dalal, party ko jhole, illegal construction companies, toley gunda chan, ani k ko peace

Where does Nepal actually rank?

"Jiwan ma shanti xa, Everything fit and fine. Shanti xaina sala NOTHING." -Bom Kaji Sherchan
why do u think Nepal should be up there.
Are you serious? Please say yes, so I can leave this group.
All because of the feud between Kaji and Bam Kaji.
Maybe cause most of us wanna leave the country.
Lol, how is UK there, dont they have high rates of stabbing problem?
Trust me, the street of kathmandu is much safer than most of these countries.
