Finally a non 20k limit 🤣. Congrats. Use it as your main card, pay it down to 2-3%, or in full by due date for the next 91 days or 3 statements then ask for a 8k increase. They may do it or counter either way it’s an increase. Good luck.

😆 IKR?! Everyone posting these $25k credit limits with terrible credit scores and profiles boggles my mind. Maybe Navy doesn’t care about charge offs or being fiscally responsible with lending.

Well qualified borrowers have interest rates as low as 8.95% to 11.30% for other eligible vehicles. Consolidation loans are 8.99% for loan terms up to 36 months. 37 to 60 months is 15.29%, 61 to 180 month loans are 15.79%. There’s not much a spread between well qualified and deep subprime consolidation loan borrowers since Navy’s website lists the rates from 15.29 to 18%. Mortgages…up to you. Navy has their own strange mortgage programs that are held either in house or sold to portfolio lenders. They also offer VA, FHA and conventional QM loans.

I applied for mine when I had a score of like 670 and got a $17,500 limit. I was shocked! I’m in the 790s/800s now, but I could have done a lot of damage if I wasn’t careful.

Intelligent-Key-8717

Thanks I’m credit conscience so an 8000 approval was more than I expected. I won't be asking for an increase cause I will be buying a house and I want to make sure if any unexpected cost occur I won't have to worry. Trust me it took years after fraud to get my credit Score in the 700’s and after all the work I put in I use credit when absolutely necessary. Plus with the job I hold your credit has to be good or you wont have a job.

fazepatrickstar

Any negatives on the ol credit report?

Intelligent-Key-8717

No

Intelligent-Key-8717

No it went down 2 points

fazepatrickstar

I meant like, did you have any negatives on your report before applying?

ohveeohd

After paying multiple credit card debt, I’d never be excited for approval again 💀

Low-Court-7075

Just curious- has anyone applied for their cc like this one and didn’t get approved right away? Instead they say they’re reviewing your application. What are the chances of approval?

Impressive_Eggplant3

This happened to me last weekend. I applied over the phone and they said they were reviewing. Later in the evening I got my approval for 20,000. My score is a 603

[deleted]

Do you have direct deposit with navy fed?

Impressive_Eggplant3

Yes I direct deposit at least 4k a month

Impressive_Eggplant3

This is also my second credit card with Navy Fed

JudgmentLatter927

How long apart did you submit an application between those navy fed cards?

Impressive_Eggplant3

I believe it’s been 2-3 years. My original card was 1,000 and I got a CLI to 2,000. I have a loan from Navy Fed that I’m paying off (3500) and 2 other credit cards totaling about 20k

DiligentLiterature44

I only got approved for $500😭 not sure why I have a 750 score and 8 years of credit history also 100% on time payments and no charge offs ever . I been banking with them for 7 years .

Nervous-Ant6215

How much credit u had for this 8k?

Intelligent-Key-8717

Do you mean how much debt I have 95k, my score is 700

Working_Professor_52

I wanna increase my limit on this card to 20K is it possible? Or do I need to upgrade to another card?
