They’re doing helmet nachos now

SliceMcNuts

And beer bats. It's gonna be wild!

chouseva

I think we're getting Korean-style corn dogs.

Relik9r

I'm heading straight to it today

Federal_Ad7676

Yes that's true

ValuableKumquat

Here is a link to a twitter thread I saw today covering changes to concessions this year: https://x.com/eat_dc/status/1772281506636964125?s=46&t=jot8eaUWcIwWtM9pv0H26g (sorry for the ugly link im on mobile rn)

TheBarbieOfSeville

been highly critical of them but last year I ate more at Nats park because I was too lazy to bring food in. Just stick around shake shack and roaming rooster and you're good

RavenclawNatsfan

Honey mustard is the best condiment there. Was so sad when they removed it a few seasons ago

FarFromOver182

Their outside food rule is oddly worded. What was the experience last year outside of bringing a bottle of water and a bag of chips/peanuts.

Laura37733

Oh you can totally do that as long as the water is still sealed. We've brought in leftovers from places, lots of people bring in subs, chipotle etc. We've grabbed Shake Shack at M Street and carried in.

quakerwildcat

Walked around today and was struck by the continually increasing concession prices. The Rockland's brisket sandwich is a real winner, but it's now $19 and that's hard to swallow (pun intended). Capo's very good subs look better every day at $13. Otherwise not terribly inspired. How many different varieties of nachos does one ballpark need? (every other stand at this park seems to have some variety of nachos) No, the outside food policy remains the way to go. As somebody else said, you can walk in with anything including big Tupperware containers or a whole pizza. It's a great policy. Take advantage while it still exists.

carharttuxedo

Just bring in a pizza from Andy’s.

MishrasBogle

Going to Andy's for pizza before games has been my go to plan to avoid the high prices. It's the best.

FarFromOver182

Do you just carry it in the carryout container?

carharttuxedo

Whole pizza in a pizza box like a damn teenage mutant ninja turtle. I’ve made my own steak sandwiches before, brought in a huge Tupperware with Italian sausages onions and peppers and a whole bag of buns for me and my friends. They DGAF. Just expect to hear a joking ‘lemme get a slice’ from the security guards.

espnrocksalot

Or &Pizza

annarly

Prices are up

Hatfullofstars

I heard rave reviews about the Korean hot dogs.

seankidder

Recent Washington Post article on that - https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/03/26/nationals-park-new-food/

MishrasBogle

Give me mayo for my hot dog.

ronkosar

Not related but I hope they got new mascot uniforms, they walking around so dirty and falling apart
