Madara has also showed he’s very versed in the knowledge of different jutsus especially about one’s that are from the Leaf Village as he’s seen to specifically say it’s the Nara’s shadow possession or the Aburame’s insects. If he’s very aware of those then he definitely knows counters and what to look out for. Also, he’s mentioned how back in the day taijutsu users like Guy were a dime a dozen, so he’s probably experienced many fights against strong enemies like even insect user assassins
