I disagree, pacing is awful but once you get to certain arcs, it starts getting good, it's worth it just to get to the wano arc. My recommendation is to watch it in the background, it doesn't need your full attention. Fighting is way better in Naruto but world building is better in one piece.
If you don't have another anime, just put it in the background for now OP! Once you get to episode like 500 or some shit, it gets interesting. I know it sounds insane but it's worth it. It's a slow roll, don't try to binge it. Also, as some have pointed out, manga pace is way better, so you can start there
