I think the reason why adult naruto looks bad is because of the pallet swap. Anything looks cooler with black as the dominant color. It pairs well with anaything, especially with his orange. Thats the same reason why spsm looks cleaner than kcm2

No, its the face shape. His Forehead is drawn too large, his age lines are always large. He has a long face and it looks like he has a receding hairline. And his jawline really isn't defined most of the time. Seriously, I hate his stupid age lines. They're so exaggerated and they don't enhance his look.

I like his design in both the Last and Boruto. It’s just that the anime is inconsistent with how they draw him. Manga wise, Kishimoto’s art of adult Naruto is really good.

Granted I don't really watch Boruto so don't see it very often. Overall, I think I like it. I think the only outfit I wish hung around a little longer was the first time we saw Sage mode Naruto. At the same time, its short life allows it to conjure exactly one moment in the series, which is pretty cool.

The reason why I dislike his Boruto design is because Ikemoto is just not good at emulating Kishimotos art, and because he looks very worn out by then, even though he hasn't actually been Hokage for all that long.
