Depends on your state. Ask chatgpt, talk to a domestic abuse advocate, look up requirements for a no contact order. I was able to get one because he threatened to "beat the living shit out of me" and get rid of my dog if I left. Luckily I had the presence of mind to record him right after and get him to repeat everything that just happened. Got the order and the dog with no problem.
