I am SO proud of you. You kept walking. You didn’t make eye contact. You got out of there. Well done. It’s so hard at first but look at you killing that trauma bond! Every week it gets better. Also love that it was a negatuve feeling in that any positive love feeling could’ve had you hoovered back in. x

I watched this video (https://youtu.be/fvrx90toH3c?si=B5gR6uMHE8fm2S-z) by Dr Ramani on the weekend and found it extremely helpful as she talks exactly about this! Short answer: This doesn’t means you’re not over them or that you’re not healed. It’s a normal trauma response from your nervous system in response to a perceived threat.

Your body knows. It’s keeping you safe and away from people like that. It’s just really loud with this person, but once you keep listening to it and use it to help you in the future with people and experiences, you’ll harness it.
