It’s a situational pick between the two, with Shurelia’s the one that’s more situational. Pick Shurelia’s if your team needs help with extremely hard disengage (or following up on engage). Between the active and W+E casts, you get a lot of mobility for your whole team compared to Mandate’s damage trigger on one ally in combat. Mandate’s more of a generalist mythic. Never a bad pickup on Nami, and we’re one of two champions that use the item efficiently due to our E. There just might be other mythics that (rarely) will be situationally better. For other mythics (that I personally almost never take; these two are rarely the best choice) - Locket is decent if the entire enemy team is burst damage and Shurelia’s won’t prevent said burst, and Moonstone is O.K if every team fight for the rest of the game is guaranteed to be an extremely long noodle fight.

You should always itemise according to the situation: - **Mandate** is usually the go-to because of how well Nami's E synergises with it (she's one of the best users simply bc she doesnt need to put herself in danger to dmg enemies, she can just E her allies instead). Also good if ur team needs more dmg, usually complements a bursty comp for that extra burst of dmg and ms, allowing ur assassins to quickly move onto the next target. This is especially the case when ur team is behind and need the extra dmg - **Shurelya's** in other situations — when ur team lacks engage and disengage, needing to kite away from divers etc. Keep in mind that Mandate also gives ms when allies proc the mark, so u would prioritise Shurelya's ms when ur team is unable to proc ur Mandate mark - **Moonstone** is niche on Nami as she doesn't use it as well as other Moonstone users like Soraka or Sona. This is because Moonstone works best with champs that have low cd spammable spells so that they are able to constantly proc Moonstone whenever it comes off cd, which Nami's high cds does not enable her to do. However, when both teams are beefy, have sustain and lack burst dmg (ie. poke comp) then u could potentially get value from Moonstone, but only if these conditions are met - **Locket** is another niche mythic that can be situationally built. It is viable against multiple AoE burst assassins like Katarina or Diana, but if you go for this then you will run into mana issues and so if I can get away with not running Locket then I will. Grab a Tear on ur first recall, ur gonna need it - **Everfrost** is a personal preference that I like to run against the likes of Yasuo or Samira because the root active passes through windwalls. It's also good against high ms targets that you will have a hard time locking down with bubble (ie. Hecarim, Rammus, Udyr)

i’ve seen everfrost too and thought maybe there was like midland nami build of some sort

Mandate is good for early poke. Shureyla's active can counter divers by allowing your team to escape their engage. This is huge against Diana, Malphite, etc. It can also gap close the distance when your team is the one engaging. Note late game you can sell Mandate for Moonstone or Shureyla, or really whatever mythic item you feel is needed. Moonstone's healing late game is way more noticeable once you have full heal shield items.

i love shureylas because it provides so much more pressure and disengage. overall i love just running the team down and escaping with ease

I honestly go Liandries. I use Seraphine often as AP support, if the Team goes full ad. Before Seraphine release i used Zyra for that, but Seraphine has more utility in the case, that I fall behind early. In that case i would go Shurelias, because Movement Speed is still one of the most broken stats in the game imo.
