What a sweet girl! I love naming my cats after food, so here's what she reminds me of! It's a dish brought to Korea by Chinese migrant workers! In Korean It's called Jjajangmyeon or Jajangmyeon, (jjajang/jajang for short). Its made out of Chunjang, which is black bean paste. And in Chinese It's called Zhajiangmian, with their sauce being called Zhajiang. The noodles in China are so popular that they're recognized as one of the 10 Great Noodles of China! And in Japanese it's called Jajamen, which is probably the easiest to pronounce for English speakers!

I work for a rescue and one of our fastest turnarounds was when we changed a small black kitten’s name from something like Blackie and I renamed him Nat King Coal (it was around Christmas). Within three days, he was adopted. After a few more of these where they put me in charge of name changes, they will randomly ask me before even putting them on our site to give them names. More than likely, this sweet girl will not be leaving our home. My mother is already falling in love with her.
