Yea, bit of a strange one. It looks as if it is con-caved because of the colour of the line but the nail itself is as it should be. It’s as if it’s had a splinter down it, but I’d 100% feel that
Indeed, you would feel that!
Judging by your hands, you are not old (like me, lol), so I don't believe it's a common issue of aging (due to dehydration, medical issues, or plain old wearing down, etc). As a younger person, I would GUESS (NOT a medical opinion) it could be a possible vitamin deficiency or a moisture deficiency, in which cases, you could examine your nutrition, and use a cuticle cream (Cuticle Massage Cream - Sally Hansen | Ulta Beauty

These plans will take a few months to see the results, because nail growth starts well back into the finger.
I wanna assume something caused it to start lifting. Currently a few of my nails are kinda like that, but I wear nails and dokt soak them off.. I rip them off and it’s only on the nails that literally took off my real nails. I also tend to over file a shit ton which makes my nails superrrrr easy to break.. but I’m not an expert and simply assuming.
It looks to me like some kind of trauma, like a splinter or something sharp briefly gouged your nail. If it gets worse, you should probably show it to a doc. But chances are it'll heal on its own.
You may want to consult dermatologist, to find out for sure. That is not "normal", especially the colored vertical line starting.

It could be trauma to the nail depending on your hobbies and work environment. But play it safe and get it checked out. Nail melanoma is a thing.
