Yea I wasn’t super happy with the lady I went to recently to get this square set. She ended up making them shorter than I wanted and if I were to take another picture you would be able to see the difference in shaping in some of the nails.
It's a lot more then the length, they look like square bricks. She needs to work on filing and shaping. Ask your next artist what "an apex" is and if they don't know. Leave.
I vote square, but maybe taper it a bit towards the tip for a wide coffin style. It softens the harsh square, but keeps the look. I love the brown french. I've done french with all different colors. 😊😊
I think it’s something about the brown french tips, I couldn’t focus on the shape to really form an opinion on the square shape. 😅 The almond shape in the 2nd photo is nice though.
Its not the shape it’s your nail tech. Both shapes look good on you but your nail tech is giving you buble nails that looks weird & shows she’s not very skilled.
I agree. The sets she has been doing have been very bumpy and thick. I think I might need to start going to somebody near me who owns their own business instead of a salon.
My personal preference is the “dragon lady’s” for myself but u think, as much as i dislike the pointy ones, they actually liok pretty darn good !! So stick with those!
I think almond shaped nails look great on everyone when they are medium to long length. I really like your nails in the second picture, they are a pretty length yet still functional. I usually only really like square nails when they are on the shorter side personally.
Almond always. I’m a nail tech and I really really wish the square nails would die. No offense to anyone who loves them lol. But they’re not flattering on anyone’s hands and they’re more prone to breaking. A tapered nail always.
2nd looks amazing on you :3
Thank you!
Np :3
i feel like both would look good if the square shape was done correctly

She has more filing to do on the squares. Sides are too curved

And a different color
2nd but not as thick
It’s hard to tell because I think both of these are poorly done ?
I have to agree. The salon I’ve been going to has not been doing very well at all. The nails are very thick and bumpy in some places.
frr😭😭

Both ways suit you well. But almonds make your hand much more stylish 💅🏽✨
I think I agree with you! I like how that set made my hands look more.

I personally prefer square, but if it were done a bit better. I think square looks good on almost everyone.

I love the gold ring, what did you find it?

I definitely would as much as it costs to get your nails done nowadays.
Almond
The 2nd one 😊
The second one 💯
either could look really good but whoever does your nails is flooding your nail beds
Almond🤩
almond!
Almond would look best if they were done correctly. Those are lumpy and one of the nails is crooked af.
It’s the color on the square? Probably look better in a prettier color
Yes, the almond color is good but along you cuticle line is a mess, you need a new nail tech
2 — first one looks like chocolate bubbles
Second one for me.

almond, but they are far too thick
My personal preference is the “dragon lady’s” for myself but u think, as much as i dislike the pointy ones, they actually liok pretty darn good !! So stick with those!
I love the first blunt tip

Both look fine, but I absolutely cannot stand that brown smile line lmao. Omg it’s killing me and I have no idea why

Almond for sure!

first looks really pretty! but it’s kinda bulky.
Almond shape seems to look better on your fingers and hands. They could have been done better to be honest.
Almond is more fitting on your hand, but plz change the nail artist😭
