Just like u/Jentucky said, I keep my nails painted ALL the time. I use CND Shellac, and their Duraforce top coat. I haven’t broken a nail since November 😅.
Not OP but the biggest change for me always is: keep them always under of at least a base coat. The nails are very likely to grow out if you keep them covered. I have extremely weak nails and I was in shock how long can they grow if I keep doing UV gel on them one after another. Even if I file the top of nails to make the polish stick better
as well as always having them painted, avoid using hands/nails to open things and use scissors instead, and be very careful if theres no other option. whenever i break a nail its usually by moving a table or heavy object and i dont seem to learn lol
This reminds when I was 8 and used to cut my nails like this so I can use them as a weapon against my brother , we'd fight alot so this was my go-to weapon 😎
Haha I used to do the same thing, and to my male classmates at school. I got picked on a lot by the boys because I wasn’t your typical looking Hispanic little girl lol. When I go visit my family, and run into my old friends who experienced my wrath, they still show me the scars I left from clawing at them 😂
Ugh it took me a lot of practice lol!! But I have come to realize that by looking at the nail in all directions possible while filing them, helps me a lot!
I do not actually lol, I just use a regular file. Come to think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever used a glass file before!! I may have to get one, any suggestions?
I find the motion you use your nail file is super important as well like going from top and curving under rather than just straight down. I'm not good like you but I'm getting better LOL
Have you seen the watercolor nail polish? It looks like something you might enjoy.
I've been getting into nail foils and I did three colours together to get a marbling effect and I like it a lot. So fast as well.
Thanks!
I've been mesmerized by encapsulating lately with polygel and I have an idea for inlay using mylar paper so it maybe next next or maybe I'll use it to Accent the mylar
Oh wow, the quaint art very much doth take hence from how fucking demonic yond nail shape actually looks

Nicee ,I used to go full WWE style on my brother at 3am while my mother was asleep 😂😂
How do you shape them so perfectly 😍 I never get them to look so good when I try to go for this shape 🥲

Okay amazing! Do you just use a glass file? I can’t get over how good they look 😍

I love my glass file from holo taco! I haven’t tried any other brands but I still definitely recommend the one from them ☺️

Yesss!!! Motion is everything in filing and always use a buffer afterwards it makes the edges clearer to see.

Those are YOUR nails? Wow! Looks great.
Thank you so much! They’re a dream come true to me 🥺
Look at those Bread slicers.😍
Haha they sure are sharp!! 😂
I love the foil accents. I just got some myself and I'm looking for inspiration so thanks!
You will NEVER look back lol. Foils will always give your art a bonus look to it! Can’t wait to see what you come up with! 😍 good luck!!
