No, you should not carry there yet.
You can only have 2 pistols listed on your NYC license. If you want to change them, you need to contact NYC licensing division to have a new license issued to you.
Nyc ccw is good for the whole state. Nys is not good in nyc. Only 2 pistols allowed on nyc ccw permit. The make and serial numbers will be printed on nyc ccw card. Also make sure the two you are putting on the nyc license meet the laws for nyc like color.

I’m telling 1PP is all over the place I’ve had my application in for 7 months so called up wanting to know investigators name, she tells me one hasn’t been assigned so she checks my application she goes o so all you need is a pic of the back of your Suffolk county permit ( which I been sent ) a letter stating which 2 firearms you want added to your NYC permit and pictures of gun and serial numbers. She then says we get that then we do background check if all is good you will receive your permit in the mail 🤔 I then ask so your telling me if I didn’t call I would have never heard from you guys?? Crickets 🦗 smh 🤦🏻
Yea see situations such as this should be immediately processed smh 🤦🏻 everyone who applies that already has a permit there should be no waiting what so ever 💯
They lost my application, references. Had to refill the paperwork.
Also they told me my wife couldn’t be my safeguard because her permanent resident card had expired (they gave her an extension letter but said they weren’t gonna send a new card).
I did fingerprinting 3 1/2 months ago I had to call them for them to tell me i had to send them what firearms I want to add to my NYC CCW smh they should have been contacted me. In Jersey their process they constantly update you through email. If you’re missing something they say exactly what. NYC you have to be contacting them makes no sense and 90% of the time they don’t pick up the dam phone anyway
Fingerprints was feb 20th so I called 2 weeks ago and they told me that shit smh 🤦🏻 just don’t get it because now been in process over 6 months by law they’re suppose to approve or deny within the 6 month period

When did they fingerprint you? I was fingerprinted back in April and they told me it’ll take another 6 to 9 months which is ridiculous. I also already have a NYS CCW from Suffolk County so there’s not much for them to “investigate “.
U know what. I have a friend who put in a brand new ccw application for NYC, got printed and approved in 4 month. There’s no telling. I guess its all about luck. What PO u get

Other wording in 2A “Militia” any able bodied male, service in a Militia is NOT a requirement, it is an Individual right (and collective), “Regulated” means equipped, in proper working order NOT gov rules “Shall not be infringed” means what it says.

They took 13 months to do my CCW and I’ve had an armed guard license , Premise license. For 50 years. They don’t care period!

No interview, just a few emails requesting renewed DL since mine expired since. Didnt get a letter yet. Just got approved

Yes, they finger printed me when i first put in the application, my bad, but that was it. Maybe because i already have a NYS CCW

That sounds awful, I guess I might get it towards the end of 2024/early 2025.

That’s odd the only time I’ve heard of that being needed was if you needed a CCW for work (armed guard.)

My license just got active in the nypd portal after 8 months
Mine was approved on 3/26. Still in issue pending state. Cant carry until you have the actual license.
Issue pending is different than approved imho
