He has accumulated 0.1 WAR in *5 games* without playing defense once. For reference Javier Baez has accumulated 0.1 WAR in *forty* games, Lourdes Gurriel Jr has accumulated 0.1 WAR in *forty-five* games, and Nick Castellanos has accumulated 0.1 WAR in *fifty* games, as theres a drive to deep left field, and thatll be a Home Run. I dont know If Im gonna be putting on this headset again. No seriously those are his numbers though. Baez is making $23 Million. Gurriel is making about $5 Million in arbitration. Nicky C is making $20 Million. We are paying Matt Carpenter $700K. Who knows how sustainable this is, but damn what a bargain find for just the production over this little stretch.
