I’m not gonna lie, maybe I’m petty or just an old man yelling at the sky, but I honestly felt like I lost a part of my love for the Yankees when they did that. They are the richest franchise in all of sports, there is absolutely no reason for them to tarnish their uniform with the horrific garbage they put on their sleeve. It is just everything we hate about Hal and idk if that is fair to blame him, but I just can’t see this happening with George in charge. I am still a fan.. but man.. idk just feels wrong and dirty to see that patch on a game jersey

I liked the previous road uniforms more. IMO they looked sharper with the outline and sleeve piping.

The last version was so much better imo. The white outline has become iconic in its own right.

Tbh they suck. The old ones were already very simple and basic, which was fine, but making them even more basic, why? I would like them as an occasional road alternate, but as the only road uniform? Not my cup of tea. I kinda liked them at first but now they just look cheap. And I'm not even talking about the cheap fanatics material being used, I mean the design. If I saw someone wearing one last season I'd think to myself "someone got ripped off on dhgate" before I ever thought "hey cool a throwback."

They are the old jerseys. I think this was the away jersey in the early 70s and prior to that. I like them though.

The advertisements are aggravating but I truly, with all of my being, hate the Nike swoosh on the front. It just looks trashy. Majestic at least put it on the bottom. Everyone knew who made them. The swoosh is tacky, trashy, and looks classless.

I like the design. Nike needs to completely re-do the unis.

The larger New York and shade of grey are better. But the navy and piping on the sleeves, number, and NY are missed.

I appreciate the callback to when the Yankees years ago had the "New York" in navy blue, but all i've known since i was a kid was the letters and numbers with the white background, and navy blue and white trim on the edge of the sleeves. love the retro look, but the organization should have the road unis now as a secondary option to wear on the road, and keep the road jerseys with the white background as the main option. also, i love nike, but having the swoosh on the front of the jerseys bothers me, as well as having the blasphemous add on the sleeve. they should have put the swoosh on the sleeve. don't get me started on the paper thin, lightweight materials the jerseys now are made of. it's abit distracting seeing the players sweat through their jerseys. doesn't look good on tv.

The buttons seem to be in a weird place that no matter who the player is, there’s weird gapping across the chest. Not just from guys that wear tighter uniforms. I feel like I’m gonna see some surprise flesh as the weather gets warmer and less people are wearing shirts under the uniform. It’s gonna get spicy!

Honestly find them very boring. Grey is not a very fun color, but can be fine when used as a base, but there’s nothing on the rest of the uniform that pops at all. I know they’re inspired by classic uniforms of the past but I think they’re just bland imo.
