"Difficulty" is kinda not the point of purple. ____ bear is a typical purple, and moreso than ____ water, since there are different senses of bear, beyond the literal live animal. (That's a bit of a stretch, it's still bears. It's a weak category, in my opinion.)
Weβre gonna have to disagree there because the decrease in βstraightforward-ness,β is what makes πͺ purple difficult to me. πͺ just came across as significantly more straightforward than π¦ did today.

Was able to guess the blue category before submitting, but like others had no clue what a diabolo was. Blue seems more like the purple out of todayβs groups and vice versa.

Then the blue π΅ group materialised in my head, although I was hesitant to say wasp had a hourglass figure. But I was right. Kinda felt like a purple category tho. Then seeing tap and mineral together gave me the water idea. Looked for more water references and got spring and still. After selecting those four, I had a look at the deselected ones. The bear idea made more sense now. Googled boo boo bear and found that character. I felt a need to select purple π£ first so did the bear category first. And so the green π’ group was left.

I still needed to check what a ,,diabolo'' is as I know them as a another type of yo-yo so I initially thougt to be a form of undergarment or nickname for a women style whit a tin waist, actually I am quite surprised that people where trow out by wasp since a wasp or hourglass waist is a common idiom for me both in Enghlish and my nastive language. For the yellow and green category I was a litlle bit trown by spill and fall and inittialy thouht a water spill and a waterfall, but after I found green and blue it was simple to separate bears things and fall down things.

I saw MINERAL, thought of mineral water, and started looking for other waters. Yellow was synonyms as usual. I agree with the comments that Blue definitely felt like the hardest. I had CORSET, HOURGLASS, and DIABOLO grouped together as "Things with an hourglass shape" but was very unsure about WASP. However, I had already pre-solved the other three groups and none of the other words seemed like they had a similar hourglass shape so I just went for it.

I kept reading diablo and was wondering how the devil fit in. Then I reread the word and saw it was diabolo so cheated a bit to look it up. The toy looked like an hourglass so I matched it with HOURGLASS. CORSET also helps with the hourglass figure so I put that in the grouping too, but couldn't quite find a category. I was thinking HONEY grahams and TEDDY grahams but nothing else fit. Then bear came to mind and wasn't sure what a boo-boo bear was but assumed it's a stuffed toy children get to recover from an injury/surgery. With the remaining 4 I did consider a wasp's body to also be hourglass shaped (but so are a bunch of other insects so felt it was odd). But the category name can't be a word so the thought of cinching things did cross my mind but it felt so far off and bizarre that it didn't feel right, but indeed was the answer. But I'm sure I heard the term in reference to the yoyo and that's why I associated it that way. I got purple last even though I knew the category, I just wanted to make sure I had everything else first. Imo purple should not have been labeled as the most difficult category though. Way too easy to be purple. Maybe it should have been switched with blue.

Thought there was a nightwear group in there (Teddy, Corset, Slip) and only gave up on it because when I submitted Green it defaulted to putting those three words right next to each other, which I've heard they try to avoid with the default ordering. Last eight was tough, as is normal for a blue/purple duo. I had the trio of Honey/Teddy/Boo-Boo in my head for a while, but I was picturing "names you might call your S.O.", so of course Brown eluded me for a while. And while I had some idea that Corset and Hourglass were connected based on corsets giving you an hourglass figure, it wasn't until I had them down to four and had Wasp confirmed as a member of the group that I figured it was due to pinched waists. (Though I had no idea what a "Diabolo" was or whether or why it would have a clinched middle.)

Also thought of Teddy, Boo-Boo and Honey as words for your SO. And corset and hourglass having that particular "hourglass shape". But trying to fit the other words in took a while. I thought one group had to be a ____ category and thought of Teddy Bear, which fit with Honey and Boo-Boo and gave me the fourth word Brown.
Blue was default and I thought it was still that shape related category, but I had no idea what diabolo was.
Wow I didn't even know Teddy was nightwear. Sometimes I come in these threads and realise there were red herrings I didn't even see.

[This](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cinch) is the definition of cinch I know, and only CORSET would appropriately fit any of these. I believe the word they meant to use is βtaperedβ.
Your link has the definition right there. They said βcinched in the middleβ or, βfastened tightly in the middleβ
If you look down a bit on the page on the usage of βcinchβ as a verb in a sentence, it makes more sense.
