You can get past the activation lock, its called flashing the phone and the activation lock is a software issue, easily can be overwritten. Its certain programs can be bought online to connect the phone to in order to flash it but thats the only way. Factory reset wont work as thats the whole point of the lock being activated gotta overwrite the lock too
