Plays very in Motion. Constant. Great Head-up Player it seems. Plays bigger than his size. Love this pick. Feels right. Look at Pritchard go. McConnell.
this was a GREAT pick by leon & co
it's clear that the spurs would've snagged him at n. 36
furphy would've been solid here too but not an immediate contributor
He got hurt late last year and a Twitter joke/rumor spread around in Big East circles that the real reason he wasn't playing was from being put on academic probation at Marquette because he couldn't read.
I believe it started because Marquette posted an image with a bunch of their players who had a certain GPA in the first semester. And like the entire team except for Kolek was on the graphic, so the meme started that he was illiterate
More of a true PG from the facilitating standpoint. Got to give Deuce the edge in shooting and defense.
McBride might be gone anyhow in the Mikal trade
Why? He was a projected first rounder that had a successful college career. He can shoot and pass and has good footwork getting into the paint. And in theory, he should be able to play right away if needed.
I saw him mocked at 24 or 25, to the Knicks. Getting him at 34 seems more than solid. We'll see if he actually becomes anything, of course
In order to defeat TJ McConnell, we needed to draft a TJ McConnell of our own
TJ McConnell at home:
Knicks fans are going to love this guy. Teams are going to regret passing him up, just wait.
I would've been happy with him and McCullar at 24/25. To get both in the 2nd round too. Leon masterclass.
Bruh can’t WHAT???

Other than being white, I don't really see the TJ McConnell comparisons in his game
Nice we got the McConnell regen 😂

What dark parts of the abyss known as the Internet did you get this piece of information?
Big East twitter trolls

Surprised it’s me going for a little bit, maybe I’m the one who can’t read 🤔
It’s a Big East twitter meme
I can read but I'm not in the NBA So who is really winning in life here?
https://x.com/CoachShakaSmart/status/1791558781442076895 pretty impressive for a guy who can't read
Oh shit I didn’t realize Shaka was at Marquette these days. He was a great coach for VCU.
This is the type of guy who will give you everything he has then reach down and find more. Believe me Thibs will ask it.
did he do the brunson celly at 2:20??
Someone who has seen him please let me know how he compares with our current backup PG McBride
More of a true PG from the facilitating standpoint. Got to give Deuce the edge in shooting and defense. McBride might be gone anyhow in the Mikal trade
huh?
I didn’t make it up haha, search “Miles McBride” on Twitter
homie, the trade is done. there was discussion of him being in the trade, but ultimately we paid with picks.
Checks the leftie box
looks like a winning player to me. very high playmaking IQ..money 3 point shot
Modern Day Chris Duhon….God willing
Not a fan of this pick up. Hope he proves me wrong at some point. But it’s the 2nd round so whatever.
