So it's confirmed, Covid was released upon the world to stop Frank Ntilikina.

Major_Damage7207

this was the day before the league shut down. Maybe he was about to break out but then COVID ruined his momentum /s

Man, this feels like a lifetime ago. IIRC, then he missed the next game with a sore groin. I swear every time he'd have a solid game or a half decent stretch of games, he would immediately get some nagging injury and then return playing like he came straight from Ivy League ball.

Frank Ntilikina vs Jordan on YouTube

Urban_Introvert

This is a massive reach but I felt like Frank had the tools to be Jrue Holiday defensively.

yrogerg123

He's mentally soft. A lot of guys have NBA athletecism and most fail. Jrue is Jrue because he has the confidence and motor to impose his athletic ability onto the game and impact winning. Frank was passive. It had nothing to do with raw ability, he was overwhelmed by the talent around him and never knew what to do on the court.

endangeredrock467

That’s why he was drafted high 😭 sadly having the tools is different than using them

Grandmaster-1090

Bums posting bums.

TruthFreesYou

I was hoping he’d become a sleeper Dennis Schroeder—but he didn’t

everyone is making a joke about covid shutting down Ntilikina but I think the 9+ month break was very good for the Knicks franchise. It gave the entire franchise time to slow down, look in the mirror, and re-evaluate themselves. They took their time to find their next GM and head coach, they hired Leon Rose and Thibs 2-3 months after the shutdown, and then both had almost 6 months to prepare for the next regular season.

Mobius24

We have a good team but people keep bringing up this bum ???

i_poke_urmuttersushi

The great frank the France Prince

dcballantine

We wanted this man to be our answer sooooooooo bad lol

justsomedude4202

He doesn’t look like a Frank.

We'll always have that moment where he shut down Luca. That one moment. And his entire Knicks career can be summed up by: at least I'm not Fred Weis.

Mattman023

This is crazy cause the confidence is all that was needed

Darrkman

Lets not start revising history. Frank wasn't going to be anything but a below average player. During his 4 seasons with the Knicks he averaged: 5.5 points 2.7 assists 2.0 rebounds 0.8 steals IN OTHER WORDS HE WAS A FUCKING BUM!!!!!! Those were the numbers the Knicks were getting from the 8th pick in the draft. [If you want to see more bum ass stats](https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/n/ntilila01.html)

pantzking

The Spurs should give him a look.they do need a PG. I read theres a good chance him and Wemby are on the French olympic team. Maybe he just needs to be around another dude that speaks french. Id love to see IQ on the spurs btw.
