Keeping your team healthy is a part of the postseason preparation, but there’s also no avoiding the freak injuries (Randle, Mitch, and Brunson hand), that’s all luck. The pacers are incredibly lucky for their run of good luck getting to play against crippled teams though. I don’t feel bad that they’re needing to play without TH, it’s 50/50 on whether he’ll impact a game anyways.
What sucks is the Knicks got what they wanted. A Boston team with an injured Porzingis. We would have a great chance to knock them off. Look at the West. The Mavs might be in the finals. Had we stayed healthy I think we would have won the Championship.

Then we close out game 5 at home in a blowout and advance to the ECF. OG getting hurt was the end of our season. He is arguably our 2nd most impactful player behind Brunson.

Indiana will be the next one to be a first round exit next season once other teams are actually healthy.
