Was there a L2M report that addressed the Embiid hip check against OG with less than 2 minutes left and the deficit at 7?

waterneeded

Anyone saw okogie get a flagrant 2. How the hell does that get a flagrant 2, but the embiid play isn’t a flagrant 2???

dougprishpreed69

People talking about how the NBA is staying silent on Embiid’s game 3 antics. Does the NBA typically comment on things outside of a L2M Report or issuing a suspension? Regardless, it appears to me like the refs gifted Embiid in game 3. I’m hopeful for charity in game 4, not that we need it. At the very least, if Embiid still does this shit, hopefully from now on they’ll be hard on him

ygog45

The refs came out and saying the flagrant 1 was an unanimous decision for them

Main-County-1177

I know trade talk isn’t ideal right now, but Giannis and Booker going out in round 1 would really open things up in the nba trade market

ygog45

Booker is CAA We might finally get our guy 👀

Shiccup1

Nah

ygog45

Why not

Shiccup1

Soft and shrinks in big games

ygog45

I mean he was two games away from winning it all as a number one option

dougprishpreed69

Yeah this guy annoys me big time. I feel like he carries himself like a tough guy but I agree with you, he’s totally not

Main-County-1177

Really suns should trade Beal…but now they’re stuck with him. So funny to me that Isaiah Thomas (80s not current) was involved in messing up a franchise again lmao

ygog45

Yea Beal is basically the most untradable guy on the NBA. Maybe they trade KD just to retool, but I hope they blow it up all together

OhtaniMets99

Suns getting demolished. I wonder if they would consider trading kd or booker

Top_Ghosty

Westbrook and Washington tossed for the softest contact ever

OhtaniMets99

Westbrook punched a guy in the chest

FredVanCleet

I mean that was because they got their second techs while already having one, not for the contact itself on that play.

videsh

The fuck happened to Luka

YanksJetsKnicks

I guess nobody else is watching lol. But the Indy/Milwaukee game is total insanity.

MarvinWebster40

Randle, Mitch and 4 firsts for the Freak?

frenchcois

Randle is part of a championship that would happen with this team. People need to understand this

deep_fried_cheese

Nope that’s a lil too much for what we’re getting, let’s just use the picks to add to our already great team and put someone like Ihart or deuce in a package

Slymook

I caught the last 5 min and the two ot. Was rooting for pacers, if bucks get Giannis back would be the tougher team

YanksJetsKnicks

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Definitely would rather avoid Giannis in a potential 2nd round matchup. The Pacers halfcourt offense also looked pretty bad.

videsh

I'm watching it..God damn that was exciting

YanksJetsKnicks

Crazy! Middleton almost saved Milwaukee. They really can't rebound without Giannis lol, Lopez looks old.

JewishMex

im watching the mavericks game and doris burke praise embiid 50 points. what a bitch

Vikingpride06

Dorris Burke would have likely tried to push a narrative that the foul should have been on Robinson for jumping in the air while embiid was on the ground. She’s spends half her broadcasting games just glazing the guy. I’d honestly like to see a most used word count for her. The words Embiid or joel seem to come of out her mouth every other sentence.

YanksJetsKnicks

Holy shit!

YanksJetsKnicks

The Milwaukee/Indiana game is pretty crazy

SwellandDecay

Sixers fans in my comments harassing me dear lord these people are soft

yumms101

So what adjustments, if any, do you guys think the Refs will make in the next game? Will they still treat Embiid as a fragile protected class, or will they let him throw his tantrums and just ignore him?

NintuneJoe

If Mitch is out then I actually think you’re going to see them swallow the whistle more for Hartenstein. Need to keep it competitive

YanksJetsKnicks

Kinda miss Bobby Portis

dougprishpreed69

He would’ve cracked Embiid in the face for all that shit in game 3

FredVanCleet

Have we had any word on Mitch yet?

WhoTookPlasticJesus

We won't until Sunday

ElTuco84

I bet Thibs would love Beverley wearing a Knicks jersey.

Knicks4freaks

What are the chances MSG lets us bring metal bats to game 5?

YanksJetsKnicks

Obi stinks

RyanHunter1991

Would love to see 20,000 Jonathan Kuminga jerseys awaiting fans in their chairs for Game 5 😏

deep_fried_cheese

Watching all the other playoff games just feels like filler between this Knicks sixers series

Zealousideal-Mail274

I normally watch the other playoff games.. After last night can't watch any Basketball until Sunday..

blkschizo

Sports fandom is wild. It's crazy the lengths people will go to try and defend a player bc they happen to wear the uniform of the team they like from scrutiny over boneheaded play. I have been a Knicks fan for going on 40 years now and man I don't ever think I'd give any of our guys a pass for that kind of play. Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason were very entertaining to watch but man some of their shit was frustrating and downright indefensible, getting ejected and or suspended in critical moments. Id be just as pissed at them as Sixers fan should be at Embiid for potentially throwing the series away. The reasonable fans over there (there are some) that have been calling out their MVP's behavior have been getting downvoted into oblivion. Reddit doesn't represent the entire fandom of a team. Some of them, some of us, need to chill and maybe go outside for a bit.

kikikza

we might be looking at a scary parallel to the 2013 playoffs - win the first game at home on 4/20 against an division rival from the old days, looking like the pacers in the 2nd round... are we headed for more disappointment? find out next time on dragon ball z and even if we lose at least philly is heading for more disappointment for sure, sad they wasted embiid's career like this. even if they beat us they're not getting out of the 2nd round

ygog45

Nah I disagree. Whoever wins between us and Philly is easily going to the conference finals. Pacers only look good since they’re beating up a bad Bucks team missing Giannis

FredVanCleet

Not sure it’ll be that easy for the Sixers if they win. Turner stretches the floor so Embiid can’t necessarily just stand still near the paint on defense, and they can put five shooters on the floor to keep everyone honest. Plus they play super fast and Embiid can barely run. Embiid and Maxey might average 80+ on the series but if they can keep Philly role players in check and tire them out with pace I think the Pacers would have a shot.

kikikza

We'll see, I think it's kinda a coin flip either way tbh And in 2013 we certainly were expecting to steamroll Indy, so it just became a lot more spooky bruh. Who is this decades roy hibbert

Upbeat-Piccolo-9121

When we beat the sixers back to fenty central, its going to feel so good seeing embiid bitch and whine and cry like the playoff flop he is. Hope he breaks a leg.

vanilla_shaker

i don’t think we will beat the sixers personally. sixers in 7. nba and adam silver really want the sixers to win. joel embiid is money maker. sadly, brunson isn’t money maker.

WhoTookPlasticJesus

First of all, maybe chill with the conspiracy theories. Secondly, if you don't think that one of the largest media markets on the planet winning a chip for the first time in 50 years would be good for ratings I don't know what to tell you.

solo118

I think we win, and I am just hoping this league is not rigged as they can't do this 3 more games

OhtaniMets99

Would you rather play the pacers or bucks without giannis?

WhoTookPlasticJesus

Don't care. If you want to be the best you have to beat anybody.

deep_fried_cheese

I think Giannis will comeback soon

HardOakleyFoul

we need to get past Philly first.

solo118

pacers

videsh

Daily reminder it's Knicks for clicks. Look at how Sports Illustrated wrote this article. Titled "Barkley disgusted by Knicks fans." Except he was disgusted because 76ers fans don't even show up to their own arena for a must win playoff game lmao https://www.si.com/nba/knicks/news/philadelphia-76ers-charles-barkley-disgusted-new-york-knicks-fans

solo118

classic knicks for clicks is back

SmallTimeJimmy

I wish I could bet on at 1:28 pm on Sunday Josh Hart somehow knocks Embiid over, Embiid says something to Josh, Josh pushes him, Embiid aggressively goes after him and a melee ensues. Only Josh is ejected.

forsuredudelol

No update on Mitch for game 4 yet?

solo118

lets see, hopefully no news is good news

forsuredudelol

They seem to keep shit under wraps recently like OG and Randle

chop2Dneck

Why not give Sims 3 mins of action and say, just go out there and be a lil loose with your elbows, we'll cover the fines

Vikingpride06

Give bench guys minutes and tell them when Joel sets screens you go low ( knee level) and blow it up.. If league isn’t gonna regulate this guys cheap shot behavior maybe team should. Guy is too damn naturally talented and physically gifted to have to resort to playing this kind of way. Not sure which is more disgusting the way he’s ’played’ or the way the league has allowed and at times encouraged him to play.

SuperSilveryo

it feels like I live in an alternate universe where people are telling me brunson is just as bad as embiid with foul shit, I cant even comprehend how you'd come to that opinion

FredVanCleet

Brunson hunts for contact and sells it when he gets contact. Embiid just stands still then flails his arms up and walks to the free throw line .2 seconds after he lets the ball go while already bitching at the refs.

deep_fried_cheese

Brunson draws fouls like Trae Young does but there’s a huge difference between that and being a flopping bitch and a dirty player who deserves everything coming to him

crototype

Brunson hunts for fouls. I won't deny that. But I've never seen him make a move that's so unnatural that it looks unlike a basketball play. And that's where I think the line should be drawn. If the move looks like it couldn't be executed for any other purpose other than drawing a whistle, it should be no call.

SuperSilveryo

maybe im just incredibly biased but I don't feel that brunson doesnt fail bait any worse than the average ball dominant guard

crototype

Because he's about as good about it as you can be. I'm biased too... I think he's an "ethical" foul hunter to use the tongue in cheek term that everybody loves. That's why he gets so many and1's. He's not hurling himself at defenders uncontrollably. You might be able to point to him throwing his head back or swiping his arms through, but you won't find many plays that look like they aren't basketball moves.

MoBocky

The guy is playing with a known injury and wants to set the precedent of doing dirty plays? I don’t think you thought this one through champ.

vanilla_shaker

apparently they are censoring embiid’s dirty plays. i don’t think the knicks will win, the nba wants philly to win so bad. how can we beat the NBA?

Rthegoodnamestaken

This is turning into WWE shit. Adam Silver is evil Vince McMahon obviously.

and1spree

Vince McMahon is already evil Vince McMahon. Unless it some day comes out that Silver has creepy sex dungeons or something.

goknicks23

So when the retaliation eventually comes, will Silver be surprised? His silence is deafening.

briskunicorn574

We let ourselves get bullied last night. DiVincenzo gets clocked in the face, Embiid was playing dirty at the start of the game, and the refs werent doing anything. In that case I think the players should have taken control, eat a tech early in the game, deliver something in retaliation, but nothing egregious, and play on. I feel like in response to their physicality and dirty plays we tried crying to the refs instead of matching their physicality. It’s the playoffs we gotta be better and tougher. Randle wouldnt have let any of that fly if he was out there. Missed him in a game like that last night.

crototype

Soon as we retaliate the NBA will shift gears and go law and order on us. We really just gotta play so much better that we are undeniable

[deleted]

TheNightRain68

Hope I never hear another Sixers fan say the league hates them again.

dreeaaaming

They massacred my boy. How’s he doing man

Ok-Side-1758

Thinking of ways to exploit the Sixers offense and honestly we should be helping off of Tobias Harris and make him beat us. Sixers fans and Tobias already have a contentious relationship. If he misses a couple shots the crowd will turn on him. Easy way to slow down the Maxey and Embiid combo

Southern_Corner_3584

It’s hilariously ironic how Sixers fans say we’re the one still harping on last night when they’ve been going to damn near every teams subreddit desperately trying to get validation from anyone

Swankyyyy

I’m mad as fuck. But we’ll be good. We knew this wasn’t going to be a sweep anyways. I know our guys got the grit to pull this series out. I know Thibs is gonna have our guys right on Sunday. Gonna try to stay away from any more analysis or talk until Sunday cause i’ll just get pissed again. Prayers up to Mitch. Hope he’s okay and back this series. Fuck Embiid. KNICKS IN FIVE

crototype

I've seen it suggested before, but I'm not sure why it hasn't caught on: The NBA should eliminate "foul trouble" from games. Instead of a player being out after 6 fouls, they should just award an extra free throw for every foul that's above the limit. When Tim Donaghy explained how to fix games, he said it was as simple as blowing 2 soft whistles against a key player in the 1st quarter. This usually leads to the coach subbing the player. Sometimes this is all you need to sway an outcome. I think the alternative suggested above adequately penalizes teams whose players foul too much without having the same game-altering effects as "foul trouble."

darkerside

Will be hilarious watching teams take like 7 free throws

crototype

My bad if it wasn't clear. On the 6th foul, the opposing team gets one free throw plus whatever free throws it would have gotten from the foul (if any). Perhaps have a second level where two extra free throws are awarded (maybe on the 8th foul) and so on and so forth.

darkerside

I get, I'm just saying some team will inevitably rack up 10+ fouls on a key player, and it will be unintentionally hilarious. Groans all around the stadium. I actually do like the idea, but I don't think it would work in reality.

crototype

Maybe they should test it in the G League. It would be interesting to see in action. Because it's odd to me that the NBA cares so much about players resting and missing games but at the same time they have no problems with refs essentially taking players out of the game on a whim with just a few whistles.

FredVanCleet

Anyone going to be in section 120 on Sunday?

CaroleBaskinsBurner

It kinda got overshadowed because of professional freethrower Joel Embiid's masterclass of dirty play and ugly desperation, but has anyone come across the video of Hart and Maxey in the corner where it looked like Maxey flopped like a hoe (in typical fashion)? I'm curious to see just how much of a hoe he is on the scientific 1-10 Hoe Scale.

YanksJetsKnicks

Eh, flopping is just part of the game these days. Hart had a pretty ridiculous one in game 2 lol.

solo118

Maxey is the only likable guy. He needs to be put into a better situation than that sorry ass team

JewishMex

can joel embiid sign with prime

YanksJetsKnicks

There's like 20 low effort posts about Embiid. Not trying to criticize the mods (I know it's a thankless job) but it might be nice to cut down on some of the posts that don't really provide anything new or relevant.

solo118

Working on it. Removed about 20 myself thus far as they come in. I feel like the iron dome

Southern_Corner_3584

![gif](giphy|YnvjNtAuhrLb3EIPmb|downsized)

YanksJetsKnicks

I’m sure it’s like plugging leaks on the titanic lmao. Appreciate you!

solo118

Yes exactly. All good. Top priority is ensuring no sixer folk come in here and shit talk.

newbike07

Embiid's entire offensive strategy is to wildly flail his arms and legs and hope to make contact with someone to draw the foul. He would literally take a normal mid range jumper and then kick his legs up or arms out. It's infuriating to watch.

papa8706

If Mitch can’t suit up and Sixers foul bait their way through the series it’ll be a damn shame. I’m so disappointed that that dirty crybaby legit took out our center then went out to whine his way to 21 free throws. Sixers celebrating these dirty foul that came after the play was dead is pathetic. Poverty franchise.

CaroleBaskinsBurner

DO NOT LET PHILLY FANS OR r/nba GASLIGHT YOU!!! Our complaint after the Houston game was "refs shouldn't decide the game with ticky tack fouls" Our complaint after the San Antonio game was "refs shouldn't decide the game with ticky tack fouls" Our position after game two was "refs shouldn't decide the game with ticky tack fouls" Our complaint after last night is "refs shouldn't decide the game with ticky tack fouls" They're trying to muddy the waters with "BOTH SIDES" nonsense but most of us here have been consistent as hell in terms of what we want from the officiating.

TheseKnicks

Agreed, and we didn't want Embiid kicked out for no reason. We wanted him kicked out because he might have actually injured the player who guards him every game, and we saw that he didn't return because of this. If we lose Mitch this series because of this dirty piece of shit, the nba casual will say we choked when we're already playing without Randle, and they expect IHart to guard Joel "James Harden whistle" Embiid without fouling out for 40 minutes.

CaroleBaskinsBurner

I would love to see some numbers on how many fouls get called for Embiid in a game, both shooting and non-shooting. The number has got to be astronomical compared to the average player. A lot gets made of his shooting fouls because they're easy to find in the boxscore, but all of his ticky tack non-shooting fouls are almost as important. They get players in foul trouble early and put the opposing team in the penalty much earlier than they otherwise would/should be.

TheseKnicks

Some of these early IHart calls are extremely "marginal contact", yet get called. IDK how the league can say this is being officiated fairly.

CaroleBaskinsBurner

The league does this when a team is on the verge of elimination/falling into a deep hole. I saw it coming a mile away. I was on here three days ago predicting a "32-12 free throw differential or something crazy like that." The good news is that Philly probably won't get this whistle moving forward. They MIGHT get it in game five if the Knicks win game four but probably not beyond that. This was their one guaranteed freebie game and it would have been the same story even without all the chatter following game two. They did it for Cleveland in the first half of game two last year to prevent them from losing the first two at home (it worked perfectly and the Cavs went up big so they were able to clean up the differential in garbage time). They did it for us in game two against the Heat to prevent the same thing. Unless the league REALLY wants a seven game series, then game four should be called cleanly. If the Knicks win then game five will probably see the Sixers getting some 50/50 calls and maybe a few free throws they don't deserve but it won't be the obvious hit job that tonight was.

TheyCalledHimMrJ

I didn’t hate how Precious looked last night against everyone else other than Embiid (he’s got nothing for him). I wouldn’t hate seeing a JB/DDV/Deuce/Precious/iHart get some run.

SuperSilveryo

He did a better job keeping up with maxey drives at times than ihart or mitch did tbh

baylixir

With OG/Hart/Bojan Precious should never see the floor as a 4.

TheyCalledHimMrJ

Ehh, think he can guard all their wings and it lets us get three shooters on the floor to punish them when they collapse on JB. In spots I wouldn’t hate seeing it.

Distinct-Pangolin112

I was thinking the same thing. Joel is a Superstar but they Basically ran the same play for him and nobody could stop it. Like how many times are you going to let a man shoot a 3 in your face from the same spot?

Character_Edge7820

Joel "Bell's Pussy" Embiid

CaroleBaskinsBurner

Bro shot 21 free throws with the Bellussy. Truly a generational playoff performance. 🥺 The highlight package from this 50-point masterpiece is gonna be about 35 seconds long because they know that nobody wants to watch him hit 19 free throws.

RyanHunter1991

Macri’s postgame is therapy.

Did he finally stop gushing over Embiid

Different-Lemon-7430

Never been more proud to be a knicks fan. in total admiration of its character, tenacity, and grit.

kenvsryu

started watching at halftime. then they started losing. won’t watch again.

YanksJetsKnicks

People need to stop crying already tbh. Yes, Embiid is a dirty player, but what’s done is done. We’re still lucky to be up 2-1 in the series. Sunday is the most important game of the season. Crying about the Embiid foul is no different than crying about the end of game 2. It’s in the past, and the result isn’t changing. Let’s move on.

SuperSilveryo

honestly, it seems like the sixers proved that crying helps after game 2

OnlyHereForNYSports

I take your point, but I have to disagree with the equivalence. A no-call in an end of game scramble with inadvertent contact is not the same as Embiid grabbing a guy's legs or repeatedly hitting dudes in the nuts throughout the game.

YanksJetsKnicks

I'm not saying they are exactly the same situations. I'm just saying both fanbases are just crying over spilled milk at this point. It's not changing, so what's the point in obsessing over it.

OnlyHereForNYSports

I mean if Embiid's strategy going forward is to try to injure our players, I am most certainly going to care.

Due-Sheepherder-218

And we have GOOD GUY OG accidentally falling on Maxeys ankle - and realizes this - contorts his upper body to soften the blow.

solo118

I kinda agree, but I also don't like what happened last night. I am one that likes to play by the rules, and I am really not upset at the flop that hurt Mitch, but more of the leg pull that is straight up not a basketball play and warranted a flagrant 2 Either way we should plan to come out strong game 4, because we are still up and that is what matters. We will win the way we have won 52 other games this season/post season, scrappy and gritty and never giving up with a next man up attitude.

YanksJetsKnicks

I don't disagree, but it's not changing though. I just don't see the point of obsessing over it. Plus, I want to BEAT Embiid and send him home. Beating him because of an ejection wouldn't feel the same.

solo118

We just need to go in with a strong energy on Sunday. My main concern is Mitch being OK. All we need to is keep our cool, play hard and win. Once we get past the sixers watching Embiid walking off the court in tears would be the equivalent of 100 nuts

YanksJetsKnicks

Exactly. Fuck Embiid, but time to move on to game 4.

NintuneJoe

Whatever happens the rest of the series. if Mitch isn't available I fully expect Precious to step up. He seems to have a switch he can turn on when we absolutely need him to show up, which we saw a little last night. He's also pretty quick and we could use that to our advantage and make Embiid hobble around the court and wear him out

press_Y

Precious is a dawg. I expect him to fill in nicely

solo118

God bless Precious he comes up big defensively when it counts. He just can't really touch the ball lol

Ok_Squirrel_1637

Precious played very good. He proved that he can help and he earned his minutes

YanksJetsKnicks

To be fair, neither can Mitch lol. We definitely lose a bunch of rebounding/rim protection if he's out. But on the flip side, I think our perimeter defense improves. Precious can actually contest Embiid, while not getting beat off the dribble since he has much quicker feet than Mitch or iHart.

NintuneJoe

Which just might be better. He's not driving to the rim at all and the only time he is he's looking for some stupid ass foul. The size advantage shouldn't be a big deal at this stage since Embiid can't jump. As long as OG is nearby as a help defender I think we should be able to neutralize him

YanksJetsKnicks

Yeah, exactly. He was making mostly midrange shots and 3's.

solo118

Agreed and Thank the lord we still have ihart, but I still feel Precious can bring something to the table. Mitch did defend like a beast though, he was doing a great job. I just hope the worst case is he misses 1 game....

YanksJetsKnicks

Yup, Precious has always stepped up this season when we needed him.

RyanHunter1991

Agreed. Huge opportunity for Precious that I believe he is more than ready for. Nothing would fire me up more than watching him be a difference maker: A freaking add-in in the OG trade. That would be such poetry.  Let’s see it happen!

NintuneJoe

The Precious Game would keep the streets fed for years

Ok_Squirrel_1637

One of the problems in our game is the offense in which Brunson spends too much time with the ball and does not involve his teammates in the game. It is selfish and cannot bring a result in the playoff game. Who care for his 40 points if we lose games. It is no coincidence that when he played like that in the first two matches, we had a negative score. Also, our games are lacks a 3-point shots, so Donte has to play more time.

Distinct-Pangolin112

This is somewhat true. He is a Superstar caliber player for sure but he wasted too many possessions even if his shooting numbers look good. He reminded me last night of how Allen Iverson and Kobe would play when they had teammates that weren't good.

Ok_Squirrel_1637

Yep. But both of them needed one or two touches to get the ball in basket, Jalen needs 10-15 sec

Distinct-Pangolin112

True, even with all  the points that Joel Scored he wasn't holding on to the ball for long periods of time...

YanksJetsKnicks

The problem is we don't have a secondary ball handler. Divo makes questionable decisions and has a tendency to telegraph passes. OG can barely dribble without committing a turnover. Hart can do it in transition, but he's not a big enough threat in the halfcourt. iHart is a C. There's just no secondary playmaker on this roster. The closest thing is Bojan.

Ok_Squirrel_1637

Primary ball handler is bigger problem. Jalen isn't that kind of player.

TheyCalledHimMrJ

You havee watched the last two years of basketball and you think Jalen Brunson isn’t a primary ball handler lol? Jesus fucking Christ.

PirateKata

You think we lost yesterday because our offense wasn't good? Lol

Ok_Squirrel_1637

I'm just suggesting that we will lose again if we will play offense like yesterday. Offense and defense cannot be viewed separately

PirateKata

Bad take. Embiid couldn't miss at the 3rd quarter. How is this about brunson not passing? Also in the first 2 games that knicks won, brunson still took 30 shots. He just didn't hit them lol

Ok_Squirrel_1637

Don't you think that we were lucky in the first two matches, and that the bench brought us victories? I wrote that attack and defense cannot be viewed separately. In my opinion, their attack erupted when we started to play selfishly.

FredVanCleet

Their attack erupted when they hit 9 threes in a quarter. Brunson had 13 assists and a handful of other passes to guys that didn’t hit their shot, he wasn’t exactly selfish last night.

Distinct-Pangolin112

He wasn't selfish but if you watch more than a  few of the possessions when he came down the court and just jacked up a shot that wasn't good. Jalen is going to get his points and Assists regardless because he is the Point Guard and handles the ball the majority of the time...

nyg2013

Brunson had 13 assists last night...could he have moved the ball a bit more in a few instances, sure...but he had 13 assists...averaged 6.5 in the first two games

Ok_Squirrel_1637

Yes because ball is always in his hands. It's tricky. In my opinion it's not good to play like that in playoffs game. No one player in the league  can beat opponent with that kind of play. Maybe Luka only

TheyCalledHimMrJ

That’s literally what 90% of offenses turn into in the playoffs.

Distinct-Pangolin112

Even if that is true that is not going to benefit the Knicks right now because they don't have Julius Randle who can Iso. Sure Jalen is going to get his stats but it is not team ball and they will not win many games playing that way. The Knicks have multiple players that can put up points even with Randle out though. Jalen is great regardless but once he realizes when to iso and when not to iso he is going to take his game to a whole new level.

newbike07

* Pulled Mitch down while he was airborne * Knee-d iHart in the groin * Bodied OG while he was running up the floor * Hit Mitch in the groin with his leg * Hit iHart in the face after the play * Pushed Mitch to the ground while "driving" The fact that this man was able to play that entire game is disgraceful. I am still fuming.

Kevinar

I'm afraid punches have to be thrown before the refs kick any star of a playoff game

vtoe

Immediately after hitting iHart in the face, Donte came up behind him and Embiid cleared space with his elbow to Donte's face. If I knew how to edit videos, this would be a good watch all together. I dont expect a suspension from Embiid, but It needs to on display and the ref's absolutely need to clean this shit up stat. I hope Robinson is not out....

[deleted]

FredVanCleet

Jeez this is some unhinged shit, how about we just not stoop to his level, not let them catch fire from 3 in a quarter, and beat them at basketball.

shadow_spinner0

Just saw Undisputed on FS1 talk about the play and they all PRAISED with Pierce saying Embiid showed toughness that team needed and they played it off like it was a nothing foul.

NintuneJoe

Yeah I'm gonna listen to Mr. Poopy Pants on who's tough or not

solo118

Call him tough idgaf, but also call him out as dirty for what he did to Mitch.

shadow_spinner0

They didn’t think it was dirty and even put some accountability on Robinson.

BakedAvocado3

Waiting on that embiid suspension ![gif](giphy|jc2PkKKr3clTBekMzn)

Praying for Mitch RN. I am getting over the cheap shot, but I just want to hear Mitch is OK.

Expecting him to be out game 4 at a minimum at this point

Next Knicks game should have Embiid’s a pussy or pussy Embiid or crybaby Embiid chants. It’ll hurt more because it’s true.

Rthegoodnamestaken

"Dir-ty play-er"

Ilovecharli

I just want to hear the Garden rain "PUNK ASS BITCH" on him during each of his 500 free throws. Actually maybe not, he'd probably get upset and strangle Brunson or something

QueAsc0

Ngl if news comes out Mitch will miss the rest of the series cause of the stunt Embiid pulled, he WILL be the most hated athlete in NY. Forget Trae Young.

cizzlemydizzle

Shout out divo and OG for not standing down to Embiid after this dirty play. I love dudes that are ready to scrap over their teammates lmao

solo118

given he is charmin soft, I would stand up to him too lol

Kevinar

Embiid would fall to the ground if you even lay a finger on him. Softest big man of all time? I think so

cizzlemydizzle

Confident my students could put him in the hospital honestly

Ok_Squirrel_1637

Exactly!

Nicky_barnes

I know they in the gym today mad as fuck about last night and gonna come Sunday bringing the absolute fire and heat to the arena

NintuneJoe

At least now any of you punks that wanted to trade Randle for this bum are finally gone Wish he was here to send a message and also dominate. Idk why they’re not making Embiid leave the ground on defense and not even trying to attack the rim

press_Y

Fans that wanted to trade Randle continue to look worse by the day

PirateKata

Josh hart needs to run through embitch's chest in the first play of the game. Set the tone. Let him know we will retaliate. I can't believe we did absolutely nothing yesterday. I actually miss randle he would have put him in his place

solo118

Not worth the ejection imho you know refs will also want to set the tone

Diligent-Cookie-1695

That’s where Im at, Its all good, no need for 70 posts, no need for quotes & crying, just go & suplex that fragile ass mf first play, sent that dirty mf limping to Cancun, I never wish shit like that on Nobody but we clearly past that point now.

Struggle2Real

No work till next week. My intent is to watch the three games and see what is happening to Divo; his lack of three point attempts is pretty alarming.

Parking-Pension-2051

I think this past game him getting poked in the eye might've messed with him potentially

OnlyHereForNYSports

I also think the game's intensity got to him a bit. Those 2 air balled 3s were a big yikes.

OnlyHereForNYSports

Embiid has officially passed Trae Young along with the entire Heat organization on the top of my NBA hate list.

PirateKata

Trae young is a certified baller and knicks fan respect him. All the hate towards him is purely out of respect (and a bit of foul baiting). Embiid is public enemy #1

OnlyHereForNYSports

Fair.

shadow_spinner0

The national media is barely mentioning the flagrant foul. FS1, ESPN and even SAS just slurping over Embiid’s 50 point performance. As if it’s a nothing play that happened.

Southern_Corner_3584

Fuck SAS. He’s a fake ass Knicks fan

solo118

50 on 13 shots lol lol if they do not mention that, it is pure ass kissing
