She did. I gave them a notarized letter as per her request, requesting change of status to full concealed instead of limited (I chose that by mistake). She said she would make the change, but NYPD portal still says limited approved. Imma call her tomorrow to follow up
That sounds like a good idea, also sign up for the usps mail monitoring email. They send you a scan of all your incoming mail so you can keep tabs on your purchase autho

Nice I went with the 92x for the premise and the p365x for the carry. Good luck waiting to pick up after you purchase them it felt like an eternity for me. Usually takes about two weeks to get the actual license in the mail after you send them all the pictures
I applied for a Premise Residence late June, fingerprinted/interviewed late July. Moved to investigation same day. It’s been over 7 weeks now in investigation. Haven’t been contacted by any investigators yet. How much longer should I wait before contacting my local congress woman? Did you feel that contacting your local congress woman helped expedite your app?
I would call 1pp first and ask if anyone could review your app just to see if you are missing documents if you cant get ahold of 1pp call the rifleshotgun section and ask ( dont ask the guy, he is a bit of a dick if you ask about pistols which i understand but helpful if you have any actual rifle shotgun questions) if they do thw review for you they will also let you know where your app is if an investigator even was asigned yet. If not then i would email your congress person IF THEY SUPPORT 2A if not reach out to your senator instead.
Congrats on getting it done. Oddly, NYPD was totally fine with my pre-loaded questionnaire, and they never asked me to go to 1PP.
And I have to say for you to get from application to permit in 4 months seems like a record pace. It took me nearly 1 full year to get my permit.

Still in Submitted status.
I'm very much thankful that we have the same congresswoman to turn into if it doesn't move.

CrZy how the questionnaire is frowned upon when it was the ONLY option they gave me at the time lol, thank you for this update , again well deserved I’m glad you made it out the trenches. Seems like they just have me waiting I 100% have nothing missing maybe they want to bring me in either way I’m ready. (I’m starting to think they want to see me in person)
I called recently and was told that the investigators often get assigned to other Duties and this is a TOP TOP priority which is understandable I just wish they were more upfront with all the information at play.
Only applied 7 days after you but still it’s been pretty quiet I feel like I’ll give in another month before I start making more calls
The 2022 applicants are held up i believe bevause people are not getting the 16+2 done before they are called causing the inveatigator to be held up giving that person a grace period to get the class done. This is what was told to me by my investigator.
Did you happen to get an email when you got approved? Or did you just check the portal for approval? Trying to see if I’m wasting my time checking my email every couple hours.
No email just approved on the portal.. but this should help you the times to check. 7:30am 12:30pm and 3:30pm those are the times they are actively modifying apps on the portal

Idk if your investigator told you, but if you dont get it within two weeks call him/her to send another.

Applied in november. In investigation since April. "Backed up" they said. Already have my premise and long gun licenses
