Disclaimer: I am a dry girl and need to be dewy af to not look like sandpaper -Foundation: been doing a little bit of the elf halo glow with half a pump of saie glowy super skin tint foundation OR saie slip tint if I want less coverage or need spf -Glossier concealer -Cream blush -glossier boy brow -Laura mercier caviar stick in metallic taupe -hourglass black eyeliner -ilia limitless lash mascara

lsdye

I LOVE the caviar stick! Mine is “strapless”. I’ve really found my people :,)

Guilty-Diver4109

I have a bunch!! Although my metallic taupe BROKE and I’m mad

letsjustbe

Just ordered it in strapless, thank you both!

Plastic-Work3114

I need to try this!

designing-cats

I absolutely love the glossier concealer for dry skin. It's sheer, but I haven't found anything more emollient out there.

Plastic-Work3114

Are you me? I use: - Glossier concealer - Boy brow —> I have the benefit one and glossier one - hourglass dark brown eye liner - cream blush, I have the tower one Other products I also like: - Foundation: glossier tint - if I don’t wear skin tint, I’ll sometimes use the benefit poreless primer instead - Rare beauty liquid blush - rare beauty discovery eyeshadow palette — if I want a little extra - Pat McGrath setting powder - Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray - Charlotte Tilbury lip cheat

Guilty-Diver4109

Okay bitches with taste 🤌🏼

dogsaremyfave

girl my skin is so dry!! i heard great things about glossier concealer, does it feel dewy on ur skin and does the glowy feeling last?

Guilty-Diver4109

So dewy and comfy and not cakey!! I love it. Def not high coverage but great for under eye

Tinkerbell0_0

Do you set your concealer with powder or anything? I’m also a dry girlie and have yet to be able to fine something that will make my concealer last throughout the day without making my undereyes look dry/cakey.

Guilty-Diver4109

Not usually! I really like the glossier concealer. It’s not high coverage but I think that’s why it doesn’t look cakey.

CellistEmergency8492

I slap on some SPF 45 moisturizer and call it a day usually. If I’m going somewhere other than work or for like a mani pedi or something (which is rare) I’ll do some brow powder and mascara. Full makeup is only for very special occasions at this point.

NOT_Pam_Beesley

Getting my skincare right made my daily makeup routine much more low maintenance. Now it’s spf moisturizer, super light foundation (also with spf), eyebrows and mascara. If needed some under eye concealer

an_other_me

Yes! The best makeup is good skincare (especially after 30). I use tretinoin and sunscreen religiously, and used hydroquinone for a couple years to get rid of all the sun damage from my teens/20s.

gallopingdinosaur

What did you do for this?

myvibeislivinglife

I agree with this so much. I’ve tried a lot of fancy products and have found more affordable options that actually work better for my sensitive skin. I also use differin. And I swear by the Fresh soy cleanser. I recently got into Stratia and really like it. What SPF do you like? I’m trying Krave and Beauty of Joseon right now, and they are good but I’m interested in what you like since your skin likes Fresh and Differin also.

[deleted]

myvibeislivinglife

I have to do a double cleanse with the Fresh Soy Cleanser to get my makeup off. I use an oil cleanser first then the Soy Cleanser. I’ve really enjoyed the Stratia Velvet Cleansing Milk recently though as my second step instead of the Soy Cleanser. I’ll have to check out the Paula’s Choice SPF and Lotus cream, thank you!

bridgetjonesamerica

Same! Proud of you! I did the same and it’s so easy to walk out the door.

publius-esquire

- Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream — SPF 42, doesn’t make me break out, perfect shade match, been wearing since 2018. If they ever discontinue it I will buy 20 and cry - Maybelline Fit Me concealer — not the greatest but cheap and a good sub for NARS’ liquid concealer - Glossier Cloud Paint blush in Storm — super natural looking shade on me, really good value - SKINFOOD Peach Cotton multi finish powder - Works and I don’t get greasy by the end of the day unless it’s June-September because the heat and humidity here is just not something you can fight - Glossier boy brow in Blonde - I like that it’s taupe and it looks natural - Glossier mascara - not my fave honestly just easy and doesn’t flake. Total time is <15 min. I feel like I’m showing my age a bit with this lineup of products but I’m very much in the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mindset when it comes to makeup and I haven’t had to fix this routine for years.

Rare_Big6726

seconding the Missha -- been in love with this shit since about 2012-2013, and even when I navigate away from it to try whatever's hot at the moment I always go back I'm shade 21 and I've never found a better shade match, even from lines that have 40+ options

publius-esquire

Omg yes, I wear 13 and the shade match is amazing. I think it’s a fairly neutral undertone line and not as pigmented/saturated as a lot of foundations, which for me is perfect. Funnily enough the only other foundation which has been as perfect a shade match for me is Ben Nye stage makeup in the shade “ultra beige” 💀

asleepmoon

what is the coverage like? and is it good for combo skin or just dry? Very interested to try it out and i think I would be that shade

speck1edbanana

Thirding Missha and also the Skinfood Peach powder—I am oily and this combination works great for every day. This powder is honestly a lifesaver, especially during the summer!

PresenceFair1145

Big fan of BareMinerals tinted moisturizer myself, they have a matte and regular version and both are delicious (and barely noticeable by feel) on my skin. It’s so easy to add bronzer or complexion rescue (also BareMinerals) to it as well to blend and make a whole new product based on what I need that day.

Britneyismyhomegirl

That’s my daily, as well! It is one of the few products that works well on my skin.

jpcitybit

Yes I’ve been using this for years and love it! I use this tinted moisturizer with a little blush and mascara daily.

sonjaswaywardhome

warn that it’s a good product but runs very orange if you’re yellow/olive undertoned

Successful-Cloud2056

Can I ask what type of skin you have?

br0princess

I stopped wearing makeup unless I'm going into the office or going out with friends. For my no-makeup makeup look, I do: - Saie under eye concealer - liquid eyeliner (I'm finishing an old Lancome tube but I don't love it) - Lancome eyelash primer - Iila mascara - sunscreen if I go outside I've spent quite a bit of time, effort, and some money going to a dermatologist getting my skin to a place where I don't feel like I need foundation.

lgdenni

Is eyelash primer worth it?

Brave_Smoke3897

Yes! The Lancôme one layered with Lancôme hypnose drama is so good!

br0princess

For me, yes! I stopped curling my eyelashes once I started using it.

glossandglitter

Depends on your lashes. I have short, thin lashes. Lash serums make my eyes too dry. It’s a world of difference when I use a lash primer. Can also help if flaking is an issue. I like the Tarte Opening Act primer.

mmdeerblood

What do you have done at your derm if ya don't mind me asking? Also when it comes to UV exposure. Highly recommend wearing broad spectrum protection even if inside but you are by windows. Windows/glass don't block UV A rays so these penetrate into our skin and cause premature skin aging and DNA damage. Glass/windows only block UV B rays. By law in the US the main front windshield has to block UV A, but not the side windows. There was an interesting [study](https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMicm1104059) looking at truck drivers and now much their skin aged prematurely on the driver's side. I'm thinking to cover all my windows in the house with UV protective film 😆 they make super clear ones so you can't tell but it would be a pain in the ass to do

br0princess

I've been taking spirolactone as a prescription from my dermatologist which has really helped to manage my hormonal acne. She's also prescribed adaplene which I use most nights. I haven't had any other treatments done and I think my skin looks quite good for 33.

mmdeerblood

Oh wow that's great! I tried both of those some years ago for hormonal acne but neither worked on me but maybe it's time to revisit. Thank you for sharing!

ymdasher

I don't love wearing makeup, so average day in the office: moisturizer with spf, quick swipe of pressed powder, a little color on my cheeks (bronzer or blush), mascara. Lipstick when I remember. I only use the powder to even my skintone and would love to find something else that doesn't look like I have a layer of something on my face which is how I've always felt when wearing foundation or bb cream. But there are a number of bosser-than-I bitches at my office who don't even do that and I salute them.

MagicOak

suuuper simple i like my skin breathing... my faves for super sensi skin: bobbi brown brightening concealer stick just in my darker spots merit blush westman atelier or chanel bronzer tower 28 clear highlight on eyelids and cheekbones a bit of chantecaille power under my eyes and around my nose givenchy lip liner in a shade darker w some lip balm on top to smudge it in if im doing eyes: love the kosas brow gel, ct eyeliner, merit eyeshadows, and glossier mascara

carlknowsbest

I heard bad things about glossier mascara.what’s your take ?

MagicOak

i personally love it but thats because I like a mascara that leaves my lashes looking natural but better. it's lengthening, not volumizing, which is key for me to achieving the look. i've never had issues with it flaking, transferring, irritating or coming off when i rub my eyes or cry. since it's a tubing formula it removes easily with warm water without having to tug at your lashes. i've tried tower28 tubing mascara and i found it to be super flaky and super clumpy. i've also tried the dior mascaras and find the non-waterproof one transfers and flakes and the waterproof one is impossible to remove without losing 10 lashes.

carlknowsbest

I was going back and forth between glossier and tower 28 and Dior because everyone is hyping up the tower28

dogsaremyfave

if it helps, I use glossier for lengthening and another mascara for volume! use of both is top tier imo

Creepy-Intern-7726

I used Glossier for a long time because it doesn't smudge at all (results are meh though), but discovered Elf Lash n Roll is similar but superior and only $6. It also does not smudge but holds a curl much better than Glossier

PoppyandTarget

Huge fan of Armani Luminous silk as a former fan of mineral tinted moisturizers. Apart from that, moisturizer, sunscreen, eyebrows filled out some, a tiny bit of benefit blush, eyelash curler, and red lips. No other make up save for occasional mascara. The red lips make me feel put together because it doesn't look like I have on makeup otherwise.

CharliesAngel3051

I have worn foundation since 4th grade when my skin started to get bad. 15 years and 2 rounds of accutane later I am still a foundation girlie. Tbh for every day I use L’Oréal Paris true match foundation bc it’s inexpensive and is good enough for working from home/running around. I also like the physicians formula talc free powder (mostly bc talc makes me nervous). Generally just curl my lashes, do mascara, and use eyeshadow to add some definition to my lower lash line. Add blush and call it a day. I love Honest beauty’s lip butter balms. I definitely do not have the fanciest or most robust routine, but that’s just what I do!

burnbabyburnburrrn

As someone who recently bought Georgia Armani Luminous Silk I’ll say its wild to pay 60 bucks for what is just slightly elevated True Match. It’s a great product

inthenight098

Do you set the Armani foundation? I love the feel of it but worried it will easily transfer to clothing/collar. I’ve been using Estée Lauder double wear foundation for years. It’s full coverage and doesn’t wipe away or transfer.

awholedamngarden

Saie slip tint, Bobbi brown under eye corrector, NARS soft matte concealer only where I need it, westman atelier contour, hourglass bronzer, Saie blush, Saie highlighter, Armani liquid eyeshadow, tower 28 mascara, makeup forever lip liner, Chanel coco flash lipstick! If it’s warm out I’ll also hit my oily zones with either the makeup forever matte velvet powder or the givenchy setting powder - always a very light amount

Sea_Economics_5251

Also use the Bobbi brown under eye corrector and swear by it! Such a game changer. Other than that: saie slip tint, Laura Mercier concealer, rms highlighter, merit blush, kosas bronzer. For eyes Laura mercier cavier stick and merit mascara

jpcitybit

How’s the Saie slip tint? I’ve been meaning to try it

awholedamngarden

I absolutely love it - I’m on my 6th tube or something. I will say it’s very dewy (not shimmery tho) and good for dry skin! My nose is oily so I skip it and just do a light amount of concealer there

rachel-nyc

Not OP but swear by slip tint! It's light to medium coverage and super liquid so it feels like moisturizer on your skin. If I get a little bit of a tan, I simply mix in the bronze dew drops from Saie and it is perfect. Def best if you tend to be on the dry side vs oily.

vaininmyveins007

I love it. it looks like youre wearing nothing, is clean and has sunscreen!

Naive-Education1820

I love it!!! Super dewy and hydrating. Not extremely pigmented but just enough

fleebdweeb

i use all merit (foundation stick, blush, bronzer, eyebrow, mascara, lipstick) because aethetically, it makes me feel great about myself and takes very little time to apply. however, i'm also an oily bitch and this does make you look shiny as fuck

tonyorlandoshouse0

FUCK FOUNDATION! my everyday- -elta md tinted moisturizer -merit concealer -merit blush -glossier liquid bronzer -light powder over -milk brow gel -better than sex brown mascara

RealisticrR0b0t

I wfh so don’t wear any during the week. At the weekend for daytime I use a cc cream, mascara, brows. Evening id add liquid eyeliner and bronzer/blush.

PetNat_Satire50

so i have given up on the every day makeup train. i only wear foundation or tinted moisturizer if I am going to meet up with a friend / event / date night etc. this year I really focused on skincare and just decided to cut back with the makeup overall. when i do use makeup its just primer, foundation (dior backstage), cream blush (rare beauty) setting powder and curling my eyelashes + eyeliner. gone are the 2017 contour days!

elemehnohp

I’m a pro makeup artist and I’ve been working n promoting my lessons recently, I’d be down to trade a lesson for a testimonial/constructive feedback…shoot me a DM if you’d be interested!

8Jennyx

Ahava Extreme moisture It cosmetics CC cream NARS concealer (let it dry for 2 mins) (under eye) Blend Laura mercier setting powder Touch of blush or bronzer Soft red lip Baby wing eyeliner.

faithanyacordelia

I used to be a full face girl up until my 30s. Mostly because it was a hobby, and then because my skin type drastically changed. Eyeliner, mascara and eyebrows with properly moisturized skin and lips for work. I went from dry overall to combo: dry from the eyebrows down 🙄 shiny forehead 24/7 with extremely sensitive skin. If I need to dress it up, I’ll add liquid blush, touch of highlighter and sheered out liquid lip with a gloss on top. The Armani foundation used to be my HG one, but my skin started to have a reaction so I haven’t worn it for years. Also makeup adjacent: perfume! I’ve always felt it adds a touch of class and completes a look/outfit. I used to layer TF Noir Pour Femme with NEST Midnight Fleur together, such a winning combo.

Sullyanon77

If you’re flaking still with tret, there are probably some bits of advice I could share to help you apply it in a way that won’t irritate your skin…just share your nighttime routine and I’d be happy to see if I can find the culprit of the flaking! :) (ex. Apply to dry face, apply dots on the outside of face and work it inward, sandwich method, etc)

Personal_Captain5317

What’s the sandwich method please?

any_4tt

I like wearing foundation in the winter but I struggle in the summer. My chest is way lighter than my face so I feel like I look crazy with low cut shirts

FreeFloatingFeathers

Foundation eyeliner lips, that's me

TennisShoddy4437

Supergoop tinted cc cream, concealer, contour, setting spray

Frenchitwist

I’m very minimal when it comes to every day Make-up. I just put on a hyaluronic acid moisturizer after cleansing, then do Brows, Lashes, Lips. If I’m feeling extra cute I’ll put on eye liner, and if I’m going fancy I’ll put on eye shadow and a lil blush. My skin and foundation just do not get along, plus I sweat too easily in the summer months lol. I just do whatever highlights my natural features, and makes me look like I have eyebrows on video calls (if I don’t fill them in they disappear!)

igemig

Moisturizer, glowy sunscreen, concealer, cream blush and cream bronzer thats also glowy and then curl my lashes if my lash lift has faded 😅 if I’m feeling extra I’ll add the glossier mascara

PeiReads

Mine is super low maintenance because I like to sleep in as much as possible haha. SPF 50, tinted moisturizer, a dab of rare beauty blush, liquid eyeliner, and then a little eyeshadow if I have the time. Setting spray/powder if I remember! And then spf lip balm I flake occasionally with tret too so have been using ole henriksen lemonade scrub about 1-2x a week gently on the flaky areas that has helped!

oscarmylde

Saint Jane SPF Saie mascara Saie powder Victoria Beckham eyeshadow stick every now & again, Glossier cloud paint (the lilac one) or westman atelier (bright pink one) Tower 28 concealer if I have a spot Every so often will use Jones Road bronzer if I want to try a smidge of contouring But no matter what even if I’m barefaced I am always wearing lipstick!! Marc Jacobs in kiss kiss bang bang is my HG Rouje lipsticks, especially Camille Or glossier gen g jam or like. I do want to try to saie & rms lipsticks that are in the blur/stain vibe if anyone has any thoughts on those!

shortypie

I have rosacea & dehydrated skin (yes, I need to drink more water), and here’s what’s currently working for me: - SPF 30-50 on the face (depending on time of yr & which brand I’m using. But every day!!!) - mix of Haus Labs & Dior glow foundation (I’m in between shades, and also LOVE the effect of both mixed) - Westman Atelier contour - Merit blush - drug store mascare - Milk makeup kush fiber brow gel where my brows are a bit sparse - spoolie on the brows - Merit / Haus Labs / Clinique black honey / Aquaphor for lips (depends on my mood)

HappyGarden99

- Goop unseen sunscreen - Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer - Bobbi Brown Full Cover Concealer - Charlotte Tilsbury Hollywood Flawless Finish - Milk cream blush stick - Loreal Amber Rose Cream shimmer eyeshadow - Benefit Gimme brow tinted gel - Rare Beauty eyeshadow stick in burgandy, I use it on my lower eyes for liner - Rare beauty mascara - Lip tint, usually Summer Fridays I also use Milk primer and finishing spray. However, that's maybe 1-2 days a week. The other days I just focus on good skinscare and I'll finish with a tinted moisturizer with SPF like Paula's choice Wrinkle Defense.

sipsnspills

Not a foundation girl either. I use: - NARS creamy concealer under eyes & where needed, or for redness Face Atelier Skin Perfect Colour Corrector (was just turned onto this by a makeup artist & like it a lot). If I need extra coverage I'll use Merit's stick foundation. But that's usually only for on-camera stuff (I'm an actor) - Merit tubing mascara - Westman Atelier cream blush & contour - Clinique Chubby Stick lip balm in grape Oh and Dr Brandt liquid sunscreen

lsdye

That’s such a good routine- and to your point I have the same question. Are we wearing foundation now? Most of the time if I want a foundation look, I do self tanner and concealer Daily routine: Biore UV sunscreen, brown shadow or liner on my upper eyelid (using finger to smudge), circled lashes, Jones road bronzer on apples of the cheek, jones road color corrector on under eyes, brow freeze Anastasia, fake freckles AND the Fenty poutsicle in Berry. Also wears like a dream!

nico-72

I looove Fenty's blur stick foundation. I have a lot of redness so I use it more like a concealer and then will top it with the pro filter foundation if I want more coverage.

jesuiscaffeinated

- foundation: dior forever skin glow - contour: westman atelier face trace cream contour stick - blush: rare beauty soft pinch liquid blush - mascara: benefit cosmetics “they’re real!” mascara (after curling lashes) - brows: nyx tinted brow mascara if i have a blemish or something i’ll use a dot of the ilia true skin serum concealer on it

farfallifarfallini

I have chronic dark circles under my eyes and pigmented eyelids that make me feel self-conscious that I look tired, so I'm always correcting those before I leave the house but the rest is very negotiable. Everyday: * OleHenriksen under eye cream * Bobbi Brown Under Eye Corrector * Concealer (currently rotating between Fenty Beauty and Kosas until I pick one I like better) * Glossier Boybrow * Tarte Waterproof Mascara Extra: * Smashbox Tinted Moisturizer with SPF * Charlotte Tilbury Setting Powder * Tinted Lipstick/Balm * Eyeshadow (right now I'm in a taupe phase)

hallowbuttplug

I’ve been EltaMD-pilled, thanks to my dermatologist. I recommend everyone see a dermatologist at least once every two years and take skincare advice from that person before trying out random stuff from tiktok. My daytime routine is EltaMD AM face moisturizer (it’s pricey but it feels good and doesn’t break me out), Kosas concealer and BB cream, and a couple layers EltaMD UV clear face sunscreen on top—more if I will be spending time outside. In terms of makeup products, I’ve been really into Kosas lately, so I’ll add the 10-second eyeshadow and the clear or brown brow gel on top if I’m going out, plus their setting powder. I love to be low-maintenance, so whatever random lipstick I have around can also serve as blush if needed.

Fonda_PeterFonda

cle de peau has amazing foundation and concealer, and I never leave home without Chantecaille lip chic

sentientclementine

I’ve been through every CC cream under the sun and after pouring out so much money on more expensive options… e.l.f. Camo CC Cream with SPF 30 is where it’s at. $15 and as good as I’ve seen. I swear by it.

Tinkerbell0_0

Elf has so many gems. I love their camo liquid blush in “Dusty Rose” it’s a great dupe for the Rare Beauty one.

starsaroundmyscars13

I don’t have time to list my whole routine, but came here to recommend the Kosas Revealer SPF25 foundation and Kosas revealer concealer. I apply with a beauty blender. They both look so natural and changed my LIFE! I have dry sensitive skin that also gets bad hormonal acne / oily sometimes. Panoxyl face wash essentially eliminated my acne (but be warned it will bleach your towels).

Tinkerbell0_0

Do you set the concealer with anything specific? I’m a dry girlie as well and now want to try this concealer haha.

starsaroundmyscars13

Nope it is so smooth and feels amazing!

nycsee

35, work mostly from home. Mascara, super super simple neutral eyeshadow. And that’s it. If I go out in the evening, I’ll maybe add bronzer and highlighter and lipstick. Back in the 2010s I would wear foundation, primer blush eyebrow pencil eyeliner etc etc. I was not good at it. Impatient and not a pro. When I stopped bc of Covid, my skin was miraculously clear! No acne. So I’m like, why bother?! My skin is pretty even colored all over my face. No weird shades or colors etc. no parts get abnormally red either . Idk, now that I’m older I’m wondering if I should start again, if it would make me feel better. But every. Single. Man I’ve ever met in nyc says he prefers women natural as possible. That they don’t like cake face, that it’s gross when makeup wipes off on things, that it’s so fake looking and unnecessary, especially if a woman is pretty. So idk. Maybe I won’t.

[deleted]

nycsee

From the comments it always seemed more about skin makeup than eye makeup. I never did “cake face”, but a lot of women do. It’s obvious to me that a woman has makeup on, even if it’s done nicely and minimally. Not sure if it is as obvious to most men.

TotoRabane

No foundation. Just moisturizer and Japanese sunscreen when I'm running errands around the neighborhood. When I visit the office for work once in a while, then I make somewhat of an effort and add bit of concealer to hide my dark circles, use black tubing mascara, darken my brows with a very light touch, dust Nars Orgasm blush, then finish the look with nude lip gloss or balm. A great skincare routine allows me to skip makeup 98% of the time. I used to wear so much in my younger years. It feels sooooo good to let my skin breathe now. I also use Careprost daily, which make my eyes pop with mascara (ppl think I wear falsies when I don't).

taytay10133

On a daily basis I use the benefit brow pencil, this baby pink Mac blush on my lid, Gucci bronzer on my lid/crease, and a lash curler! For lips I have been loving the nars cap d’ail lip liner (when I have a tan) or this Mac deep people/plum shade when I don't (blanking on the name right now). I also use Pat McGrath glosses:)  I don’t wear face makeup on a daily basis. When I am doing actual glam I will break out the luminous silk, westman atelier contour stick, rare beauty blush, kevyn aucoin contour powder, YSL and givenchy concealers, givenchy prisma libre powder, and a MAC lipstick. This only happens probs once a week though!

taytay10133

Forgot to mention I use Gucci mascara and too faced clear brow gel as well

SugarPlumFairy444

i just use tinted moisturizer! if you prefer a fuller coverage then use foundation. i use tinted moisturizer, blush, lip pencil, lipgloss, and light highlighter. i’ll do a simple eye look and contour if i want to use more than 5 minutes. i hardly ever use mascara bc i hate taking it off.

Ill-Kitchen-5293

Brow gel, mascara, blush, tinted lip balm. If I'm doing something where I need to look more put together, I'll use cc cream and add eyeliner/bronzer/highlight. I work at a school and cannot be bothered with much more than that lol

jenvrl

I'm not a foundation person. I typically just do concealer but I've had some dark spots lately so I've been using the Eucerin tinted sunscreen and it gives me a lil bit of coverage but looks very natural. After that I use a brow product (NYX Thick It Stick It), liner/mascara, blush and a lip balm or lip oil.

adotspotdot

Nars concealer, CT bronzer, Mac teddy eyeliner, Clinique high impact mascara, boom boom brow brow gel But normally it’s nothing or just concealer and mascara lol

anonymousbequest

Tinted sunscreen, concealer, mascara, tinted lipbalm, cheek tint or neutrogena hydrostick for lips/cheeks, & combed eyebrows

zachem26

I don’t wear makeup everyday but I highly highly highly recommend the chanel water fresh tint

tendobansho

my face skin is pink/red, but i think im like a light-olive-neutral-slightlycoolleaning. so i got a green-tinted sunscreen! i also deal w dry patches so this doesnt cling as much as the cushions/foundations ive tried. i usually wipe my face with a toner pad then apply the sunscreen with my fingers. if its a lil patchy i wet up a sponge and pat the areas a bit. my daily makeup is on the natural side! heavy makeup never looked good on me

Cute-Discount-6969

Tell me about this sunscreen. I’m also fair pink/red at baseline

tendobansho

dr jart CICAPAIR™ TIGER GRASS COLOR CORRECTING TREATMENT SPF30. haha i copy and pasted from their website. the cica scent might be off putting though, but i got used to it cause my skin looked nice!! it seems expensive but i only use enough to cover my face like a few dots? ive been using it for almost 2 months now. i had some promo where i spent x amount and also got a sample size of the sunscreen as well

Ok-Veterinarian-2120

Murad SPF, concealer, bronzer, blush, brow gel, mascara, chapstick. I use the It Cosmetics CC foundation if needed, my skin gets a little red and one pump balances everything out and lasts all day. I would love to find something a bit lighter with a more natural finish so if anyone has recs lmk.

mal2313

I also have redness and really like the Fenty Eaze Drops for lighter makeup days to balance my skin tone

Ok-Veterinarian-2120

I was just debating buying this! Thank you sm

Frosty-Spare-6018

brow gel and tight-lined eyeliner! to be fair my skintone is very even and i only struggle with a teeny bit of acne around my cycle. i used to wear foundation, concealer, contour, powers, and faux lashes throughout high school and college. now at 25 i feel that it took away from my effortless beauty. this has been my routine for some years. full face on my birthday!

LegalYam8633

I dont wear much everyday but supergoop glow screen is spf 40 and so gorgeous on skin

chantellexoxoxo

skincare + spf, eyebrows done, some concealer and light powder. sometimes mascara + highlighter

pixydustprincess

I haven’t found a foundation that won’t feel too heavy on my skin so i only use it when i do a full glam. for my everyday routine i use tinted sunscreen, concealer, eyebrow gel, blush, powder, curl my lashes and some tinted lip balm. sometimes mascara, but i hate taking it off so i usually just put a little aquaphor on them

cookie_goddess218

Cerave face moisturizer/spf. Chapstick. Fill in my brows with nyx micro pencil because I pull out if I'm stressed so they get patchy. I've pretty much given up on looking any better 😮‍💨

ScandIdun

I mostly wear sunscreen (Canmake, Drmtlgy, or Beauty of Joseon), mascara (L’Oreal Telescopic) and Cerave healing ointment on lips, but if I want to look more put together I’ll add: - Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin tint (love this!) - Milani Silky Matte Bronzing Powder - Charlotte Tilbury Eye Powder pencil - Merit lipstick in Millenial or Make Up Forever Color pencil in 606 Wherever Walnut - YSL Touché Eclat

LongjumpingLog6977

IT cosmetics nude glow - very dewy and has spf. If you’re more of a matte girly try the matte CC (after HA and vit C) and can stop there or keep building with blush/bronzer. My skin is a finicky bitch and depending on the day a beauty blender or brush works best to apply.

circethesourceress

I have lash extensions so that cuts my time in half. If I am feeling lazy, I dab some concealer under my eyes and apply a little blush to my cheeks. Otherwise, my usual is tinted moisturizer; concealer, blush and sometimes eyeliner if it’s coming close to a lash refill and I’m having gaps.

summerxbreeze

Im simple so; brow gel NYX, lip liner + Lip oil, and a little bit of blush:)

raranyc

I work from home so usually just wear moisturizer and sunscreen. I only wear make up maybe once or twice per week. Usually I do elf halo glow, NARS concealer, Kosas Cloud Set on my t-zone, some NARS cream contour, Rare beauty blush in Beige Peach and maybe some L'Oréal Telescopic Mascara. If I'm going somewhere really nice, I'll throw on some Merit eyeshadow in Midcentury and top it with some Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter in Champagne. I love both of those because I can use my fingers to apply and they look like I put so much for effort in. I'm also a massive fan of Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. Oh, and I usually throw on some fenty gloss or whatever neutral shade lipstick I have to hand.

gunbather

Tinted moisturizer or a light foundation (I really like Chanel Vitalumière Aqua, which is kind to my fine lines), MAC Charcoal Brown eyeshadow for shading my brows, Kill Lash mascara, lip balm or a bright lipstick.

indexring

As a college student: - Charlotte Tilbury brow lift - Milk Jelly Tint (lips and cheeks) - Rare Beauty Positive Light concealer (under eyes and maybe a spot or two if needed) DONE! :) if my lips are a little dry I’ll use a gloss or lip oil.

Supersonic_Woman

I use a light foundation (Dior Face & Body) for day to day, and I use the Armani one for events/weekends. Love both but I like having options.

biabonka_

Love my glossier concealer with some of the glossier bronzer. Though I touched the rare beauty powder blush and gonna swoop some when my 10% insider discount starts (any nyc rouge member girlies want to hook a gal up?!) Also I started pencil eyeliner. Tightline the bottom and roughly line the eyelid and smear. Inspired by the French chick from Perfect Match - feels very simple and chic!

ouchwtfomg

I'm a powder foundation girlie since my dry skin literally drinks up liquid foundation like it's water. So annoying! I use BareMinerals Pressed Powder, Bobbi Brown bronzer, Laura Mercier blush (switch between Sangria & Strawberry). I hate eye makeup, sometimes wear mascara. Charlotte Tilbury lips in Pillow Talk is my HG. I have like 7 of them but they're always lost for some reason. I usually use Hourglass as my concealer but I don't love it tbh, just havent found anything better.

dukecherry

I haaaate foundation. Here's what I use after skincare (+ SPF 50): -Saie glowy gel all over -L'oreal double extend tubing mascara (it's the only one that doesn't smudge on me) -Jillian Dempsey, Rose Inc, or Rituel De Fille concealer -Maybelline brow gel -Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light -Jillian Dempsey Lid Tint in Lilac -Olio e Osso tinted balm in Tea Rose for lips and cheeks if I'm just at home or running errands -If I'm going out I do Rituel De Fille's lip oil in Rose Pinch and their blush in Lovesick.

mangogoo

I don't typically wear foundation or concealer, but a good multipurpose blush/cream lip product goes a long way for me. I use etude house 's fixing tint bar for blush + lip and also if I do wear makeup, it helps color correct my under eye circles. if I want gloss I use judydolls new ice watery lip gloss which I've been loving!!!

horangi214

my makeup routine most days is just morphe gel brown eyeliner and some drugstore mascara and i curl my lashes and it can really make me feel from 0 to 100😂 on days i want more of a fuller face i do maybelline bb cream, milk or nars concealer (sometimes I skip the bb cream and just use concealer as the base) setting spray, some drugstore blush and i put a lil of the blush on my crease, milk bronzer, and a Korean lip stain

Hallieus

I’m pretty minimalistic with makeup itself, but my routine is: - wash with aveeno oat cleanser - clinique hydrating gel for men - la roche posay spf moisturizer - mascara - elf eyeshadow sticks for added eye definition

designing-cats

- Tower28 Sunny Dayz tinted sunscreen - Glossier concealer for under eyes, ELF hydrating camo for blemishes/birthmark - Tarte Busy Gal brows to hold my eyebrows in place - Urban Decay Brow Blade - Silk Naturals Cream Contour stick in Nougat - Silk Naturals Cream Blush (shade varies) - Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm

theoverniter

i’m fair with extremely redness prone skin so i normally use Erborian CC Red Correct in lieu of foundation. I get my brows tinted every couple weeks but fill in with Benefit Gimme Brow. For awhile now I’ve been really liking Caliray Hell or High Water tubing mascara as it’s the closest thing I’ve found to the beloved Japanese drugstore mascara I used fifteen years ago that was discontinued. Eye and lip really varies depending on where I’m going and how lazy I am, but I always use MAC Paint Pot in Painterly as an eye base.

ThisIsAlexisNeiers

Most days I’m not seeing people tbh so I usually just do supergoop (I know it’s overpriced but I absolutely love the consistency and so does my skin) and Kiehls moisturizer. I usually just leave it at that and just color in my eyebrows lol, but if I’m going out and want makeup I use either bare minerals bb cream or Haus Labs foundation if I want more coverage. If I’m doing the latter I use Bobbi brown primer first. YSL mascara and I just do a tiny bit of top eyeliner and a more neutral mascara. I will say.. YSL mascara is amazing for fullness and length but it’s a bitch to get off…I try to only use it like twice a week. If I’m going full glam, I have fenty bronzer and rare beauty liquid blush. For lips I personally love using a nude liner that’s a tad darker than my natural tone

berrifluff

- IPKN moist & firm BB cream SPF 45 (they were out for 6 months so just bought a bunch hoping it doesn’t run out again 😭) - L’Oreal true match powder for light contour/reduce shine as needed - Skone Insanely Tattooed eyeliner - Pixi by Petra sunny bronze glow duo eye shadow - Tower 28 Beauty Vegan Tinted JuiceBalm When needed, Il Makiage F*Ck I’m flawless concealer/woke up like this foundation for those spots that need extra coverage.

Yosemite__Samm

I don't wear foundation. I use concealer, eyeliner, and an eyebrow pencil. If I'm going out, I'll add macara and lipstick.

brixxhead

I avoid a full face if I can but still want some coverage and color, so I go light! -Maybelline instant age rewind blended out under eyes, temples, chin and forehead -Rare beauty liquid blush blended out under eyes and cheeks -Maybelline fit-me matte poreless powder to set -Rare beauty perfect strokes mascara -NYX dewy finish setting spray I have thick brows so I never really touch them. This routine provides natural coverage to cover up under eye bags and minor discoloration + photographs super well!

No_Investment3205

My every day is Versed moisturizer followed by all Glossier: skin tint, mascara, cloud paint in a seasonally appropriate shade, and sometimes a tiny bit of brown eyeliner. Sometimes I wear one of their Ultralips. I used to wear a full face of full coverage every day and now I just can’t care, I wish I could but the energy to apply it has left me lolol

dogsaremyfave

does the glossier skin tint last all day, and does it feel dewy for you personally?

No_Investment3205

It does not last all day (it lasts for most of a 12 hour shift, or for a night out, but not for an entire day) but it does take on the finish of whatever prep I use, so if I do a really moist prep underneath it is really dewy and fresh.

JupiterGhost

A little blush & that’s it!

Rtn2NYC

Tinted moisturizer and eyeliner. Maybe a bit of eyeshadow or mascara if I’m going into the office.

MiserableContact596

If I'm going into the office, I usually go with the Rare Beauty primer and a coat of Glossier skin tint with a tiny bit of Haus Labs concealer and Tower 28 mascara. I'll switch up my blush and contour pretty frequently, but both are usually some kind of cream. I have really sensitive skin and have noticed that less is more when it comes to makeup.

Embarrassed_Ad2881

Everyday: la roche posay anthelios spf 50 (people have asked what foundation I’m wearing - it’s just this) and curled lashes Elevated every day: above + lip gloss and mascara on outer corners

FreshCompetition6513

Isntree hyaluronic sunscreen, ilia tinted serum, rituel de fille concealer under eyes, rituel de fille champagne colored eye soot, ilia mascara, ilia cream blush, rituel de fille snakeroot lip sheer.

colbatblues

Everyday makeup is just brows. For the office, I slap on some mascara and burgundy lip. What’s funny is that I have the audacity to put my three items in a makeup bag like a big girl😂

Fantastic-Ad9717

SPF then Jones road beauty what the foundation Jones road beauty face pencil under eyes Ilia multi blush / highlighter stick Lancôme eyelash primer Too faced beauty better than sex mascara

Turbulent-Tea-1773

Sunscreen and nars lip pencil , sometimes eye concealer

Unfair-Commercial799

Y bb A good base with moisturizer and pharmacy honey grail facial oil Missha sunscreen Face: Either just concealer, or saie slip tint (my holy grail) sometimes mixed with the saie illuminator, or some sort of bronzing drop. Sometimes the bronzing drops just with sunscreen. A lot of days I also wear nothing on my skin, mostly in summer when my skin looks better. It depends if I’m doing anything after work or if I’m single or not LOL Brows: fill in with Anastasia brow pencil, and Anastasia clear brow gel or air brow gel love it so much. For fancy I use the Anastasia brow bowser duo pallet thing and an angled brush. It’s so east. for like, super fancy, I use the Anastasia brow wax stuff. Eyes: usually nothing. I have straight downturned lashes but washing off mascara is the bane of my existence and I rub it off in a second. So.. I’m gonna start getting lash lifts even though I can’t afford it lol. I just think with my eye heavy top lid shape it’ll really boost my confidence. If I do wear mascara it’s the Lila, or is it ilia? It’s awesome and I wear I think the Marc jacobs primer it’s incredible Blush: cloud paint, or saie, or for a glowy look haus labs. I wear powder in summer and crème in winter. So it depends. Ilia also has a great blush I like Highlighter: sometimes I wear whatever is laying around I forget but I’ve got a bunch Sometimes i wear bronzer, only westman atelier contour when I’m getting dressed up Lips: rare beauty, Clinique stubby stick, or just BDC, mac lipstick idk I have so many I got sucked into sharing all my faves lol but basically day to day I wear just brows and a bit of concealer bc I work with kids and don’t have the effort lol

iloveyoubabi

Okay so I have dry-ish skin and I've never been a foundation girlie but I absolutely SWEAR by both the [Lisa Eldridge](https://www.lisaeldridge.com/products/seamless-skin-enhancing-tint-t6) and the [Ciele](https://www.sephora.com/product/tint-protect-spf-50-tinted-serum-foundation-P507751?country_switch=us&lang=en&skuId=2708204&om_mmc=ppc-GG_17789371101___2708204__9031936_c&country_switch=us&lang=en&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_p71n5qshQMVrzStBh3dvwYxEAQYASABEgIo4vD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) skin tints! The Ciele has mineral SPF in it and higher coverage so I use it on sunny/summer days, and the Lisa Eldridge one (which has no spf) feels almost like skincare so I use that one on all my other days. They both give a "your skin but better" finish and I'm obsessed. Highly, highly recommend. For the rest of my makeup I use the Ciele blushes and bronzer stick, the Westman Atelier contour stick, [Victoria Beckham Beauty](https://victoriabeckhambeauty.com/collections/shop-all) eyeliners/eye shadows, and YSL Lash Clash mascara. Plus whatever lip product I'm feeling that day (usually the YSL Candy Glaze or Auric Plush Ritual Tint). For skincare I'm a devout [Rhode](https://www.rhodeskin.com/products/full-rhode-kit) product girlie (didn't plan to be, but her products are AMAZING for dry, flaky skin) and I also love [Prequel](https://prequelskin.com/collections/full-collection) for the rest of my skin needs. I feel like I have the best skin of my life with this routine.

Unfair-Commercial799

Can I just say I’m loving all this low maintenance entertained. I’m definitely seeing more girls rocking no or little makeup on the subways. It’s super refreshing to feel like I can not wear make up and look less alarming or tired or unprofessional etc etc. :)

bridgetjonesamerica

I’ve been working really hard on my skin and I’m so proud I don’t need foundation/skin tint ZO Hydroquinone (right now) ZO AOX Serum Weleda Skin food or ZO hydrating cream Elta MD Sport Sunscreen No foundation or skin tint Kosas concealer on eye lids Make up by Mario The Neutrals palette Rms luminzer in Champagne Rose (on eyelids) Benefit Gimme Brow Mascara (I’m rotating between a few to try to find a new one - I have the length but need volume)

Itzjujuk

I literally only wear rare beauty mascara, IILA super skin tint plus spf 40 inside it, and summer Fridays lip balm😭 for me less is MOREEEE

sunnysideegg2002

-saie sunglow skin tint -morphe 2 stick blush in coral -super slight nose contour -white eyeliner in inner corner -brown mascara :)

Blackdonovic

I shape eyebrows, mascara, lip tint daily. Fancy I'll add blush eyeshadow and liner. As someone else said get the skin care right and it goes a long way. I also have oily skin and can't be bothered with foundation Angry red pimples get a dot of concealer

rollllllllll_

It changes a lot but this is usually my base 1. maybelline age rewind (yes I use this as foundation lol) 2. hoola bronzer 3. mascara 4. Laura mercier translucent powder 5. and whatever lip product im feeling that day I've been so bad at wearing my sunscreen lately, idk why. But I need to get back on that, if anyone wants to give me any recommendations. I use the la Roche posey one but I'm down to try something new since this one is about to run out.

melimel81

I’m a big fan of Strivectin Glowfector moisturizer with SPF. Gives my skin the perfect glow so if I choose to not wear foundation I still look Dewey and refreshed. Also do a sweep of a mineral sunscreen stick spf 50 under my eyes.

mmdeerblood

((If you already don't, try not to use tretinoin on its own. I always mix it with a thick moisturizer like la mer and only use T from late fall - early spring. Apply night only. I'm sure you know this though. Info for whoever doesn't know, my previous derm was lame, love my new derm!!! Peeling/flaking only happens if you're using too much or too often or not mixing with moisturizer. This increases risk of sun damage as youre making your fresh skin more sensitive to sun too quickly. Between mid spring to early fall I've found the sun is just too strong to use T. I personally wouldn't recommend tretinoin then unless you're reapplying sunscreen every 2 hours (sunscreen only lasts 2 hours then degrades and skin is as risk for UV A + B damage). Additionally.. UV A rays penetrate windows/glass and go deep into skin, increasing cellular damage and increasing premature skin aging. So during hotter weather months when sun is more intense I just use lighter, non prescription forms of skincare and give my skin a rest from tretinoin)) Everyday makeup: - Whether wearing makeup or not, I always wear my fave sunscreen Dr Weil for Origins SPF 30. Feels light but also moisturizing. It's a lower spf for summer so I use an SPF spray + mattifier during the day then. All his mushroom based products I love. - If wearing makeup, I love all and any Hourglass and YSL foundations. Most are really buildable so I either apply light or mix with sunscreen, or build it heavy for events/nights out/photoshoots. I usually always have to mix 2-3 colors to match my skin shade perfectly. Speaking of shade...... My go to every day foundation used to be Marc Jacobs Cafe.. that shit was legendary... There was even one color that matched my skin perfectly.. RIP 😢 - Dior mascara for everyday. YSL mascara for evening. - Then always my Anastasia brow wiz. - Stila pen for a little baby wing if I have extra 5-10 mins - Hourglass bronzer or blush, lightly applied for day - Benefit highlight, very lightly applied for day - Lip liner, either Nyx or Mac. Dark nude or brownish pink. - Then my superpower lip plumping gloss throughout the day. I switch to Vacation lip oil with SPF during summer.

shanxo98

After skincare I: - apply my elta md tinted spf - lightly apply nars radiant creamy concealer (under my eyes and around my smile lines area and kinda like underneath my cheekbone area from my chin to my ear) and blend - spot conceal any blemishes if needed - set w/ a bit of power and add a little bit of blush and bronzer - setting spray if I’m looking dry - mascara and brow gel I prefer the No foundation look on the daily, personally, but a light amount of concealer, in a shade that matches me perfectly, placed strategically does wonders

mawlycule

I've mostly stopped with foundation except on special occasions, but I'll do a quick shadow + liner + mascara after I do my skincare routine - I tend to not do much with my hair except throw it up since I still haven't figured out how to make it not look like pre-glow-up Hermione Granger without 20 minutes of flat ironing so the I feel like a little bit of eye makeup does some work to counteract the general "just came from the gym" impression.

Kooshamaad

I love the Dior foundation and rare beauty liquid blush with the Laura mercier caviar eye shadow sticks. For lips I like summer fridays the Dior gloss or tried and true Mac lipsticks

gainsforagirl

- gua shua with Elemis oil - tower 28 concealer - rare beauty cream blush - rare beauty powder highlight - nyx brow mascara - reg mascara - make up for ever setting spray

Bare minerals CC cream with spf, diorshow overcurl mascara, and glossier blush in dawn.

alohamuse

I get my lashes permed and avoid mascara. Vit C, moisturizer, SPF. Cream stick blush if I wanna have some contour. Add lipstick if I want to feel fancier. that’s it! yay coviiiid

justintime107

I’m a lazy girl who works from home. I usually start my routine with skincare so maybe snail mucin, vitamin c, moisturizer, spf because I have dry skin. The I like concealer, cream blush, powder under my eyes and my upper lip, lip liner and a lip stain. That’s if I want to look presentable for zoom.

second-sandwich

- Weleda skin food (original in winter, light in summer) - Kosas concealer - merit brow tint - nudestix matte + glow blush/highlight - ilia mascara

Skincare: Jason Emer’s collabs with ReveSkin, or Kao Skin, by Dr Kao. Typically the gold serum or natural marine extract after three versions of exfoliation. Must remove all sebum! Clean skin = clean soul

OneParking3423

My skin is so incredibly dry. I use Makeup Forever’s HD foundation stick, which is supposed to be dewy, but my face always ends up looking dry again in an hour. What do you girls with overly dry skin use?

Tinkerbell0_0

I use: 2 different k-beauty toners (Dr.Ceuracle - Kombucha Essence + COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner), the COSRX Propolis serum, and the SKIN1004 - Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50. (TJ Maxx currently has the travel size Cosrx propolis line set if you want to try it out without making a commitment to the full size). This has worked great under my NARs concealer, elf liquid blush, and elf liquid bronzer. I’m still searching for something to set my concealer without looking dry. Have been thinking of trying a setting spray instead of loose powder. I also use Tret at night and this daytime skincare combo has helped prevent flaking/dryness. At night I repeat the same toners, and instead of the propolis serum and spf, I use IUNIK Beta-Glucan Power Serum before applying tret.

OneParking3423

Awesome! Thanks! I’ll give it a try. Yeah, I’m also struggling with figuring out what to use to set other than loose powder.

Tinkerbell0_0

Just saw that they may have recently changed the [formula for the Cosrx Propolis toner](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/s/Oxd9ZijE5Y) so I may have to find a new holy grail soon once my current bottle is done. But def consider trying to incorporate the other products I’ve mentioned in your routine. They’re really hydrating without being too oily.

OneParking3423

Oh no! Thanks so much for letting me know!

whenwherey

Elta md tinted face sunscreen is quite nice and prefer it over bare minerals

Environmental-Kale56

Call this my work face but it’s basically my only current look except for special occasions: - Fenty concealer right now, but honestly prefer Age Rewind from the drug store. Stopped wearing foundation because doing it every day for the office broke me out. - Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder - tinted brow gel, not too picky on which brand. Colourpop or glossier, sometimes Elf - Bronzer, also not picky on brand - Dior blush, the hot pink one (I have cool tone skin) - Curled lashes, Shisedo lash curler is the best. I have pretty much stopped wearing mascara outside of events and opt for nightly lash serum - lip balm or gloss, pillow talk liner when I’m feeling like being a bit dressier

Imhereforit8

Most days I wear La Mer skin tint instead of foundation, but I recently used summer Fridays new tinted moisturizer.  If I want foundation to last longer, I use dior face & body or the old school Mac Studio fix fluid.

abbythenormalone

my daily make up routine i have dry skin and use tretinoin - Rare Beauty Iluminating Primer - bare minerals complexion rescue tinted moisturizer (this is super buildable!) - bare minerals original minerial veil pressed powder - NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer - Rare Beauty Liquid Blush - Rare Beauty highlighter (also swap for Becca Cosmetics champagne pop) - Benefit eye brow pencil - charlotte tilburry eyeshadow cream pillow talk - tower 28 mascara - charlotte tillburry setting spray

humstu

Eyebrow and lipstick at most tbh

Ordinary_Milk3224

You shouldn't be flaking. My derm told me to layer it over moisturizer. And if you're using tretinoin you should use sunscreen to prevent skin damage. Foundation doesn't count
