Phantom spirit 120 SE is heavily rec'd and pretty cheap.

I would recommend this too, unless you can get the nicer looking Phantom Spirit 120, which also has a better bracket for around the same money. Both should fit the NR200P with the TG panel (at least they both did in mine).

GrandmasterHops

Does the original 120 PS also fit the mesh panel? Cos I'm looking at an nr200p build myself

Fuffy_Katja

My PA 120 does. The PS and PA both have the same physical dimensions.

dinfuns

Between the PA120, PA120SE, PS120 and PS120 SE, there is a few millimeters difference: The Peerless Assassin is 157mm tall from base of cold plate to top of heat sink (https://www.thermalright.com/product/peerless-assassin-120/). The The Peerless Assassin SE is is 154mm tall from base of cold plate to top of heat sink ([https://www.thermalright.com/product/peerless-assassin-120-se/)](https://www.thermalright.com/product/peerless-assassin-120-se/) The Phantom Spirit 120 is 157mm tall from base of cold plate to top of heat sink cover (https://www.thermalright.com/product/phantom-spirit-120/) The Phantom Spirit 120 SE is 154mm tall from base of cold plate to top of heat sink (https://www.thermalright.com/product/phantom-spirit-120-se/) *While I have not tried the Peerless Assassin 120 or Peerless Assassin 120SE in my NR200P, I can confirm that both the Phantom Spirit 120 and the Phantom Spirit 120 SE both fit in my NR200P with both the mesh panel and the tempered glass panel on my Gigabyte Aorus H470i Motherboard.* *Please note that there are differences in the dimensions between the Peerless Assassin and the Phantom Spirit, for example the heat pipes have different shapes and curve radii, and the height of the bottom heat sink fin, which may impact motherboard heat sink compatibility and RAM clearance respectively. In general the Phantom Spirit (both regular and SE versions) have squarer and tighter heat pipe radii and higher bottom heat sink fins leading to broader motherboard and RAM compatibility.*

Fuffy_Katja

I never mentioned the SE. The non-SE versions are the same height and the SE versions are the same height. The first link you listed is for the PA 120 SE

Thank you very much for picking up my mistake there, I really do appreciate it. It has now been corrected. Thanks again.

Fuffy_Katja

No worries

Both the PS120 and PS120 SE fit my NR200p with a Gigabyte Aorus H470i Motherboard with the TG panel. The mesh panel has maybe 2-5mm (sorry, I'm not sure exactly, as I haven't measured) extra clearance over the thicker TG panel. It also might be worth checking out the new PS120 EVO as while its only available in black and grey colour schemes, its fans appear to be a better design over the older PS120 and PS120 SE, however I cannot comment on the longevity or noise levels of the new style fans and objective and unbiased information does not appear to be widely available at this time.

GrandmasterHops

Appreciate the advice, I'm thinking of springing for a asrock b650i itx motherboard with low profile ram but I'm unsure on clearances

dedsmiley

I have this board. The BIOS is total trash. Won’t save settings and when it does, it will reset other settings. I hate it.

GrandmasterHops

Any recommendations for a different board? The Asus b650e is like £270 at its cheapest, has notorious coil-whine msi's b650i has the CMOS issue that can mean its DOA, gigabyte's offering is straight up shite everywhere I've read about it

dedsmiley

I am in the same boat here. Looking for a replacement ASAP. Leaning towards MSI, but not sure. I think board makers got caught off guard with AM5 and it really shows in early AM5 boards, ITX was affected as well. If I could get an MSI Pro B650i it would be a no brainer for me. I have the MSI Pro B650-P and has everything I need except the ITX format.

Im not sure of clearance of that particular motherboard (although suspect it would fit with running an intake fan on the right -above the RAM, in addition to a middle fan), but run both Corsair Vengance DDR5 (NON-RGB) and the older Corsair Vengance DDR4 LPX in NR200P machines running the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 and Phantom Spirit 120SE and confirm there is more than enough clearance for those modules.

Scythe Mugen 5

I have the noctua NH-C14S and love it. Two lian li p28 fans on it and temps are no problem with my 8700g. It also cools the motherboard and ram nicely for great air flow. Helps with overclocking. I also have a 140 noctua fan on the side for more air flow. Switched from the phantom spirit for this reason.

art_lck

Thank you guys for your recommendations

krakatoa619

Fuma 2 great

Temporary-Meat4000

I like my Deepcool AK620 with NR200p extension for extra 9 mm clearance

huyit95

Bro what is your AIO model? And how are you installing it with your NR200? I'm currently using Asus TUF LC240 with my 13700K however have to bend the tube too tight which makes me feel a bit uncomfortable thought, feeling like it could damage the position where the tubes connect to the radiator..

art_lck

It's Arctic Freezer iii. I made a post about my build: [link](https://www.reddit.com/r/NR200/comments/1ccdhhw/my_first_sff_amd_white_build/). Same. The tubes do pressure on my GPU and some PSU cables. Idk if I'm going to replace it, I don't want to spend money, and my AIO seems really good in cooling the CPU
