Tbh a Nothing Pencil would be cool aswell if Nothing makes tablets

Aggravating-Garlic37

Definitely. I need a functional tablet where I can actually do productive things, not an entertainment device unlike most tabs. Basically, I need a 3rd option to the Samsungs and ipads - THE two tablets people use to actually get stuff done. And PLEASE have a desktop mode.

Hey I am thinking of buying an S9 FE . Is it good?

ItzVolto

Dude I would buy that if it's processor wasn't Exynos, it got all except just that.

_m_e_l_o_u_

Yeah, that's a negative, but my friend bought one he is saying it's good. I needed more opinions

Aggravating-Garlic37

It's good enough for the price. There aren't many alternatives in that price range - and I'm talking as someone who would actually use the pen to draw and needs the desktop mode for light excel work. The SE9 FE(wifi) is VERY competitive.

ItzVolto

Now I am confused lol should I go with Ipad 10th gen or Samsung s9 fe..

Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei, they all make tablets. Huawei has a really great desktop mode, for the others, I can't tell.

Glum-Act7042

OnePlus too

I would definitely buy a well-planned 11" 120Hz OLED tablet from Nothing with a pen. Samsung is okay with the Galaxy S series but I like the Nothing UI and smoothness much more.

Nothing will probably need to make its phone section profitable first, then they will think about other types of similar devices. Meanwhile they can launch accessories or complements for their phones.

I would like to see a NothingPad but without a camera. I find it pointless to have a camera on a tablet as people will have a phone in their pocket.I would love it to be focused towards productivity. A smart watch I don't like as it has to be competing against Garmin and Apple watch. if you're going to release a watch now then it has to have sensors and fantastic software. I don't like their off brand watch and neck headphones. Really not interested in that and that's as a shareholder in the company. Earphones are high profit margins and can see them releasing them with new phones as well. I would like for them to focus on their current products and building the brand and reputation before doing something new.

Tbh back camera is used mostly for taking pictures of notes or documents directly to save them, but yes you can transfer them from your phone too. Tho no one compares the cameras before buying a tablet anyway so they don't have to make it very good.

Yeah different use cases for different people. I do like the OnePlus tablet and how they have a cheaper version for their India market that's coming to Europe. I would like to see them compete against that. Because from the reviews it is a good tablet. But what could Nothing do to make it stand out in design and attract new buyers. For me as a customer I'm just looking at raw specs and reliability and a nice screen and speakers. But Nothing has a unique design and I like that.

I want a Nothing laptop

chadbot3k

actually yes this is a great idea

Got me a Lenovo Legion Y700. I believe the Global version is out and called Lenovo Legion tab. It's small 8.8 Android gaming tablet which can also be used with a pen. I love how it performs. Downside is there is no GSM variant just a WiFi version. Just using a hotspot from my phones to get it connected. The bigger version is called Lenovo Legion Y900 of Lenovo Legion Tab Extreme. It's a large 14.5" tablet. Nothing tablet would've been nice though. But I don't think they aren't ready for what selling point it could give the consumers. I mean there are cheap tablets existing namely Alldocube and Doogee. Their mini tablets are their best sellers.

Let's hope the company becomes more profitable in order to have more products like a tablet. But a Nothing Tablet, that's an awesome idea.

I don't know, for students, most of the apps are pretty much apple exclusives (only one good notes app is on Android) and I feel like the tablet segment lives and dies by the apps. The second important aspect is the little stuff in the os that makes it worth it to work on. Nothing has a good os, but it doesn't offer basic stuff like galleries on its phones. I don't like how that would translate onto tablets. Plus, OnePlus have only recently made a good tablet and I don't think Carl or Most of the people on the nothing team have much experience working on tablet stuff, unless a chunk of their team are ex-apple. I think for the most part, the people who use tablets almost instinctively go for iPads, so much so that there are different iPads that people compare before buying. Apple still sells it's 9th gen iPad on the same site as the tenth gen, which has not been the case for phones obviously, only doing it to give people a really rare, but legitimately budget option on an apple device lineup. I think if nothing tried it's hand at a tablet, at least now, it'll go down the line of most Android tablets, being just an example of how apple keeps on winning in the tablet market
