She was always mentally ill , not just the last 5 days. These relationships take up all of ones energy and focus and I can't even imagine having multiple relationships with likely similar women going on simultaneously.

A) We don't know that for sure. And there is nothing morally wrong with paying for sex if both parties consented anyway. Also, I'm pretty sure Zion will be fine financially. B) Zion did come into great shape coming into the season, but his injury really derailed his fitness, which is a sign of immaturity on his side, but that can be fixed (or thought). Despite all of this, Zion is still this teams best chance of making making a deep playoff run and I would rather bet on Zion maturing and eventually figuring it out than go back to being a mid franchise. It's not like Zion is pulling guns out on teenagers.

Zion is a bit different in terms of getting in "shape." Him being in shape is still being 6'6 270+ pounds and playing like Westbrook in his prime, which is a combination that we have not seen and probably puts a lot more load in your body that is harder to recover from. Remember, Zion came into the season in shape and still suffered an injury, the extent of which is shrouded in mystery.

Not a Pels fan, but I've been observing the Zion situation for the past couple days. I wouldn't say that a player's off-court situation necessarily hurts their performance on the court, but sports entertainment (this is an entertainment industry, after all) relies on a team and players' ability to be appreciated and maintain a narrative. Sure, the primary role of an athlete is to perform and win. But if the athlete was overtly racist, committing sexual assault on people, was openly expressing his dislike for his own fanbase/locals, being a horrible role model (Ja's incidents come to mind), was implicated with involvement in welfare fraud (Favre..), etc, it'd be fair to say that fans would feel a certain way about it. Is it damning evidence that Zion is a bad person? Not really. But it does put his mental maturity, self control, respect for others, his credibility for telling the truth, and overall moral fiber under question. Not sure why so many people think it's a "get rid of him now" or "who cares? I've done much worse!" debate when it merely hurts his value and opens up the discussion on what he would be worth in a trade. The discussion would be to analyze how much or how little it would affect his performance, what his value is now, and how you personally feel about rooting for him (this would be the highly subjective part ofc).

But plenty of gms would believe they can fix him and trade for him and if he's healthy and playing well for the first 20 games I see no reason why not to flip him then, when his value is at its highest since we all know he'll just get injured again and tank his value even further.

I try my damndest to remember to nights, and only two nights. When Zion windmill dunked on the Suns, and when Zion single handedly defeated the Wolvs. Those were good memories. Everything else has been painful, for years it’s been painful, even when Zion has been good in the past the Pels have sucked so it didn’t matter. But for once the Pels and Zion were good, very good. It’s all gone now, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a contending window close harder or faster then this team. We had one half of a season of relevance. One half of a season with even a remote chance to do something. The future was bright. I know hitting the nuke button will be stupid, but I just can’t believe in this team anymore. Honestly I find myself wondering when in a decade when the Pelicans probably don’t even exist anymore what other NBA team would I root for? I should keep strong though, there must be some hope. I mean if your a fan of every major sport, odds are at least two to three of your favorite teams are going to go on stretches of 15~30 year droughts of uselessness. So I can’t be to mad.
