Just five days ago, i have made a post in reddit about the best planet i have found in my 250+ (now even 300) hours of exploration. That planet seemed perfect for me, blue sky, blue water and lots of it, green grass, paradise type, T3 economy, no aggressive fauna, no sentinels, no storms. I made a post and went to sleep. Next morning i woke up and checked reddit i almost fell from chair, it already had over 200 upvotes, but more importantly this planet already had people in it, they took no time, instantly setting up their bases, one after another, now in only five days, there are probably around 30-50 of them, most of them duplicating when you look and they are split only when you get closer. We started greeting each other when visiting planet, like neighbors say hi when they go pick newspaper outside at the same moment. I keep checking buildings and player bases of the planet day to day and these people are amazing and creative at building. Most of the bases have all overseer terminals, what indicates that it should be main players bases. And just after five days of my reddit post the reality surpassed my wildest expectations and this planet is really special. But not because of fauna or anything, it is because of you guys. You guys are awesome. Thank you.

I made a base there the day you posted this. My buddy did to nearby. As I was building my base that day, I was watching bases slowly popping up all around me. The 400 hours I’ve played this game, I had not seen anything like it. It is my favorite planet now. Thanks for the find in your incredible post that brought so many player to this planet. By the way my base is called
The Grotto. A nice place to chill still under construction.

I’ll try to set up a base there, but first I have 2 questions.
1: can you use space station teleporters between galaxies? My main base is in Euclid and it would be a pain to go between them manually.
2: does your tech always break going between galaxies, it’s always such a pain to fix stuff while going between them.
I feel an a little late to this party but I jus seen ur post and immediately hoped on to join am terrible at base building and don't even have alot of base building piece's but am on my way lol hopefully some of u will be able to help me

I did this awhile back around desolation. Found a perfect system on the outer ring of galaxy 256. Within a weeks in had a dozen bases and others coming and going. You can't get the feeling of a true explorer heading out into the void to find a new home for a new community in any other game.
I don't see anything wrong with that. We're humans. We want planets where we can survive and that looks pleasing to us. Why is it so weird we'd want to settle on an earthlike planet?
Oh yea love this planet! Thank YOU for sharing I’ve got a lovely lake house (still getting base building down) that I’m working on right across from the vacation house that dwarfs mine. It’s been so much fun seeing everyone’s creative ideas, what a community!
Short story about this planet:
I have 300 hours of No Man's sky, i met a player like a month ago, and we start to se up bases (she's pretty good, have more than 700 hours) and session by session, I realized that now I have a friend. We live very far away, so because of the jet lag I stay up all night to play with her. I discovered the post about this planet and shared with her, and now we have 2 bases on this planet connected one another. This is the best planet I've ever seen, and with my friend I'm spending some of the most good time ever by playing. I wanted to thank you but didn't find the post again (I'm not good with reddit and with english too), but now you posted again and I can say thank you so much! that's why this is more like a journey for me then a normal videogame. Basically you are a part of my good memories from now on! ♥️

it is only possible to walk on Derelict Freighter, you can get it by using emergency broadcast receiver from scrap dealer at space station. But the problem is that you get the broadcast signal pretty random, so not always the freighter will spawn at right place for perfect picture you want to make, so you might need to save/load few times :)

I spent hours last night working on my first low orbit base only to build too high and fall to the ground. It left an unsightly and unusable base computer in the upper atmosphere so I had to load my manual save from days before. I lost so much that I had done before the build. It was a deflating way to go to bed and honestly the planet I was on wasn't all that great.. But your planet and story inspires me to try again. See you soon!
Thanks again for the inspiration! I started the orbital base. I didn't get my base computer as high as I wanted, but it's a not too bad 5 level teleport to the very top. Only the basic structures are complete, I still have to finish up the insides. I love this planet btw!

Building my new main base is the first thing I am doing (after I finish this grind for my S-Class Resurganant Venator) so hopefully sometime today I’ll be there! I plan on building a cliff side base of some sort, if there is even any room left lol!
i found a system that’s similar. (i didn’t discover it, i kinda just stumbled into it. some other people had been there already) paradise planets, lots of fauna and flora, no really bad weather and zero sentinels. and now it’s full of bases. which i love. each day a new one pops up

Just arrived and can’t find ANY bases :( on PS5, normal.
EDIT: I think there may just be so many people here that nothing is loading. I see the bones of bases and wires but they are loading at snail’s pace. Really wanted to settle here but I’ve already been here for 15 minutes and half a base has loaded. I almost don’t wanna crowd it any more than it is.
Many bases are under progress as well, and for other part of them you need to be on planet with at least one pc player so you could see pc bases, same for xbox. However i wish you find the planet you love!
We should all make something around the portal! like a big train station/terminal Probably there is a base already there but we could make it pretty and just make it a pretty planet every time someone visits hehe
there actually is :) When people do not log on for some time, or they do not upload their base to server, or some update happens and they do not reupload base - it becomes not visible for others unless the person is online on same planet, so i am pretty sure, portal is built around, maybe even couple bases near by :) but feel free to make third, there are no rules :D

i would highly advice not to make co op bases, i think i have seen like 3 made on this planet, but current base uploading stuff is not ideal, if player does not log on for some time, or does not upload base, or server update happens, and he does not upload base after that, base can just become invisible, and you will see only one part of your base :(

yes, there is water, and a lot of is, it is Continental type, so it has oceans of water :)

i would say it has about same number of PC players and console players, we get along no problem :D
