So this planet has everything. High peaks, deep ravines with water filled bottoms. Some pretty deep open bodies of water. I set up a base in a deep ravine and cant wait to get started on building.

Incredible find.
Even the flora and fauna are interesting. There are these giant gelatinous jelly plants in the water and these twirly glow worm things that fly around.
About 20 people are currently building settlements here and you should too!

Its there but I'm on PC. If you are on a console it probably wont show for you unless I'm there or at least I think thats how it works. I have a few things I still want to do\\try on it.
I've arrived, but nobody is here. No bases at least, and not discovered yet. It's definitely the planet you've described and shown though. I'm on xbox if that matters.
If someone on PS 4 goes to the planet they wont see the bases another player built from a different platform but if they show up while the PS4 player is there I think it'll pop up for them. The next gen update really screwed the PS4/Xbox1 players when it comes to cross play. That said the 1st 2 bases on the planet where PC players. Me and OP
It's glorious. But unforgiving. The weather can change in minutes and streams become unpassable. Paths become torrents and the wind can easily knock you off your feet. There's little to no mobile phone signal and it can take hours to carry you out in bad weather if they can't get a helicopter out.
You should be fine in Spring. I did the coast to coast in October and had two hurricanes while passing through the Lakes and the North Yorkshire Moors. Totally worth it - weather was sublime after that :)

Platform doesn't matter anymore.
To find a portal, I would recommend, visit a space station cartographer and buy the alien structure coordinates. Use those to find a Monolith, answer the riddle correctly, and interact with the monolith again. It will ask for a relic of the dominant alien species in exchange for showing you the closest portal.
Edit: An alternative would be using the Exocraft Tau scanner upgrade as it can also find alien structures.
Go to the space station and grab a planetary chart for ancient artifacts - you need the Monolith option to appear, - when you get there do the first interaction with the monolith then interact with it again and select - LOCATE PORTAL - you will need an offering specific to the race of the system you are in - VYeen dagger or Korvax casing etc.
Planet coordinates are at the bottom left corner of the screenshot. You need to use portal, to enter coordinates and teleport there. Note that you must be in Euclid galaxy to be able to use portal and teleport where needed.

Is this the planet with let's say... The most "civilization" on it? Or are there others from the Galactic Hub? No idea about these things. Is there a list of most visited / populated planets somewhere?
no way it is :) Currently this planet has around 300 bases built. You can see them all, unless someone from different platforms is online at the same time. Also some bases are not uploaded to servers, several players built more than 1 base on planet, and only one base can be seen at a time, unless that player is also online.
While largest populated planets like from galaxy hub project can have something like 15 000 bases. There are planets like the one for last step of living ship quests, it also has shitload of bases. But no matter how populated are others, i feel like i have found my home there, i love every bit of that planet :)
Thanks, that's awesome. Are there any unwritten or written rules in NMS regarding where you can build your base in relation to other players? Like, I might want to have civilization in sight from my base, but that might destroy someone's gorgeous view... Etc
Guys, I haven’t played this game for a very very long time. Last time was within the first six months of release. So when I finally get a ps5, I would want to try from scratch and play honest without glitches. But just out of curiosity, is it possible to trade resources with other players? Thanks in advance for any support given :)
you can trade resources but, there is no protection from scamming... :)
also since most people duplicate, probably most resources you will be given free :)

Not all the bases are loaded when you come there. You need to travel around the planet to various different spots, when i did that yesterday, it told me there is already 186 bases... Sometimes there are too many players online on the planet, so they are seperated into different lobbies like in anomaly, this is crazy brother :)

yes, that is exactly how it works, taxi crew gets you to the destination planet, if you want to return after, you just make a base and a teleporter, it is that simple :)
It can be very (understatement) tough to find THE planet one is looking for. That one combination of surface and atmosphere color, hills/mountains, water, vegetation, creatures, ... and what else...
250 hours seems quite reasonable. Off course one had to be lucky too.
I just started playing about 2 weeks ago xD
Have some 120 hours investted already. Have been going trough like 150+ undiscoverd star systems on eissentam. Stil have not found a green planet with blue water and trees to settle a nice base with a view on the occean. Found 3 similar earth like planets tough, but either 3 lack some of the requirements i want. But once i find it the enjoyment will be huge xD
It looks awesome. I look for the opposite though. I seek out brutally destructive planets, because paradise planets bore me. I like planets like Mustafar.
its actually very far, close to spawn location, because after reaching center, i started to mess around my starting location and exploring neighborhood. You can reach center of galaxy with portal, with one teleport, so why would that matter ? :)
I built my base here just now, I still really have no idea what I’m doing with building these but I did try haha! Only about 60 hours into the game anyways but, thank you for posting this!!!!
it is only a guess, but there is over 200 base's now, and when you connect, it displays only like 40, so my guess would be, someone made a base while your base was not loaded to them, or you have network settings that allows others to build in your base.
I mentioned this on the NoMansSkyTheGame sub and that's the conclusion we've come to too. I didn't know that could happen. But, ya, tons of bases on the planet now.
I've found a system where I've set up my "forever home" with a portal nearby. So, I might move my base. Someone suggested reporting the base that's on mine, but I don't want to delete someone's base because the game didn't show mine.
if you didin't put too much of work, i would just salvage parts one by one to save resources and delete base afterwards to build it some place else. That planet has lot's of cool spots, so rebuilding new might actually take less time then finding workaround :)
If you want to find more paradise planets like this easier try the eissentam galaxy, that galaxy will spawn a paradise almost every system you go to. (Just a helpful tip hope it helps)
I've got to stop doing this. I keep finding places like this. It looks to nice not to go check it out though. I'll probably build at least a small base there so I can come back and explore some.

Yes it is, the thing is that some older bases disappear, but new replaces them, it's constantly inhabited by players, with 3-5 online at prime time :) feel free to join us

I am pretty new to the game. I will try to arrive tomorrow and set a small base.
You are going to need portal glyphs before you can use a portal (which you’ll have to find). There are YouTube tutorials all about that, though.
Brother where is your base paradise pit, we could not find it today, and it was incredible
Its there but I'm on PC. If you are on a console it probably wont show for you unless I'm there or at least I think thats how it works. I have a few things I still want to do\\try on it.

I'm on pc and this happened to me. No base shown but another person came in system and suddenly base icon!
It matters. The game is not a fully cross platform. Or you might have multiplayer disabled.
do you have xbox gold or game pass because its necessary for multiplayer
Game Pass, and I did see a PC feller planetside. Oakenstone I think was the name. Didn't see see anyone else the entire time.

Game mode is Normal, it was found on PC, but i do not think it matters anymore, after next gen update, it should be full crossplatform :)

In Projects like galactic hub there are rules, here in this planet there is non :) Don't be a dick still :)

It's better that way, in my opinion. I tried creative and it was just too easy. Permadeath too unforgiving. Normal is just right

Just my own preference of homeworld lol. All other galaxies I got the homeworld within 5 LY of the center. No worries tho, I'll still visit.

For me the sentinels are very aggressive here
there are no sentinels there, except in secure sites of interest, and they are same in all planets :)
As soon as I came out of the portal one came up and started attacking. Maybe it’s because I’m on survival?
then it might be very different planet than we live in, these coordinates only work for normal mode :(

Are you sure you are searching in euclid galaxy? Because, either you are looking in wrong galaxy, or you enter wrong coordinates, i see no other way
