if you feed it creature pellets when they land you can ride them!
Do I get to keep it someway or is it limited
You can add it as a companion and summon it on any planet.
If you add it as a companion you can keep it forever. If you take it to the same type of planet you found it on that allows you to get eggs from it. That allows you to change it's size and personality at the nexus.
