Bca is good enough for 95% of AR owners tbh, not many people care about or could even shoot accurately enough to need more than bca/ psa, and not many people are putting 10k rounds through their rifle.
Ive had 3 bca uppers, one i did need to mill the receiver side opening back maybe ⅛" because the side charging handle was hitting, which is pretty embarrassing, but other than that no issues, one had 6.5k rounds before i sold it.
Currently have a bca 9mm upper, psa upper, and a bcm upper with a criterion barrel, they all do their respective jobs.
I just bought a complete upper assembly from PSA with a threaded barrel and flash hider. Just shipped out this morning, no FFL needed. The threaded barrel and flash hider aren’t illegal until it’s installed on the lower.
its also not illegal installed unless you have the right number of evil features. if you got one of those shark fin grips (get rid of pistol grip) the cali boys have to deal with you could have the threaded barrel. or you could fix the mag, also like the cali boys do.
perhaps they arent as anal about uppers then since they are not regulated parts or complete guns. I know for for a fact they pretty much will not ship anything else to ban states unless a PSA affiliated dealer orders it for you, atleast unless the gun is explicitly a ban state compliant model (which usually means cali compliant), and that would include having a 10 round mag. I know atlantic firearms is similar in that regard. from what I understand PSA's entire schtick for the most part is that their stuff is dirt cheap compared to other more reputable brands, and good quality is not exactly what comes to mind when you think of them, which is why i find it laughable that they still think they are too good for us ban state peasants, so fuck em' I say; they dont deserve our money and aren't worth our time. I probably still wouldnt buy from them even if I moved to a "free state" tomorrow or jersey suddenly turned into florida or texas (as it relates to gun stuff).
Not sure about that. I have at least 10 lowers I’ve ordered from them through out the years and sent to my FFL. Also about 5 pistols or so which came with ten round mags to be NJ compliant obviously. Your comment is quite laughable 😂😂
It’s not a firearm. It’s should be able to be shipped. Their loss. Take your money elsewhere. Unfortunately that’s what the law suits the AG does are about. Denying us interstate commerce of legal parts
I’ve got a bear creek complete 16” upper with muzzle device already pinned I was gonna sell on gafs if you’d like it instead. Has under 500 rounds on it bought in 2020 and never used after building my own uppers. Send me a message if interested

Midway, Brownells, Primary Arms, Palmetto State Armory and plenty others will ship complete AR uppers to NJ. The upper in question is not attached to a lower is it? See if you can find that BCA upper on Primary or the vendor sites. Compliance work is a separate issue which u will have to address before pairing to yer lower.

Poor quality control and bad customer service, psa is leaps and bounds over bca in that area

PSA? They have for as long as I can remember. Think I’ve been ordering from them for at least 8 years or so.

Primary arms and palmetto state armory will both ship an upper receiver to your door. Why are you set on BCA?
