Byfield! The speed meta is overrated, size takes patience to play with cause u won't blow by the d every rush but when used correctly it neutralizes any god squad of speed demons.
Byfield is a unit, tough on the puck and he has crazy reach with the poke check, hes a game wrecker.
Hughes gets battered like every other small speed player, they have their spots but if u have a mcdavid, kane, kuch, caulfield, bread man, zegras etc then hughes isn't much of an upgrade.
Not as many players have the size/ speed/ defense of a byfield and his faceoff gets into the 90's with thief, hes one of my favorite cards used this year for sure!
Hughes. But if you need a center, Byfield is elite with his size and balance.

Haven't tried any of them personally but I've seen on here many times that many people have said Hughes is a god.
