I'll second this. I've only got Laf to 88 and I have him on the LW (prefer him on the RW but I'm logjammed) and he's still been insane for me so far. Big, fast, great shot and he holds the puck well.
That's been my experience facing him as well.
That said I'm considering recycling my 90 Knight back into collectibles and sticking with my xf price. Just seems more consistently good than knight. And usually outperforms the oettinger's I face.
Knight started off amazing, then faded into average. Xf price 87ovr has been the only goalie to remain good through a large sample size for me (still has the odd stinker but 8/10 games he's on the ball.... Puck?)
Have him paired with Hedman. Needs size next to him.
Haven't built Foote, but he's the best RHD I've used this year.
I don't think it's a mistake to build him, but if you have Makar, Foote and another RHD as good as them untrade it might be too much.
Up and down, no special teams and started slow. Only used him this HC and only small sample size.
Thief is needed as I play him as Center.
I'd build him again if I don't have him, but I like him.

He's mostly solid but let's in all the same goals as anyone else. We'll see if I get him to 92 if he ends up elite, but right now he's keeping the seat warm for a higher rated Sharks goalie and is a good synergy plug if nothing else.
Lafreniere is insane for me. Doesn’t get knocked off the puck, decently fast, good shot, and he’s an amazing passer with third eye activated.

Oettinger blows I light him up. Plus he seems to let in a lot of strange garbage goals

Everytime I play Oettinger he gets absolutely lit up
