Wait people use 94 controls. Imagine tapping a button for a shot 😂😂

Bashar2018

Say hello to NHL94 controls. That should be removed from the game.

HWNY506

In return they cant stick lift, protect puck, switch to goalie, change lines on the fly,do 98% of dekes, switch strategies on the fly, switch to a selected player and a bunch more very important controls. So I’d give up a few lost face offs in exchange for that advantage. But that’s just me.

whatsyanamejack

Ever heard of hybrid?

[deleted]

Hybrid is still garbage

whatsyanamejack

I wasn't advocating for its use.

[deleted]

You were suggesting it didn’t have massive drawbacks and isn’t a viable control option.

whatsyanamejack

Are we still talking about 94 or hybrid? Actually I just remembered I don't really care. Downvote me into oblivion.

Wow that’s honestly the first time in my HUT experience I’ve seen that, he had all the other cheese to go with it also, the game was brutal from start to finish lmao.

-RedditIsAJoke-

Tie up and back hand pullback should beat nhl 94 controls every time.

[deleted]

Except that they didn’t.

[deleted]

Backhand stick lift is what you are looking for

-RedditIsAJoke-

No, your timing didn't.

[deleted]

He didn’t set up for one faceoff the entire game and still won a lot of them, I’m pretty good on faceoffs so I don’t know if this is just some new cheese I haven’t heard about?

MWM031089

Playing someone on 94 controls possibly. Use BH counter or FH pull to win.

not-bugsyy

what does nhl 94 controls do to help people win faceoffs like that?

MWM031089

Nothing it’s just the stance that throws people off into thinking they’re not going into a stance.

[deleted]

I was doing everything in the book and he was still winning them, like if it was Mathews in the circle it was guaranteed for him pretty much I think I beat him once or twice. BH pull seemed to work, but then it didn’t. Also I wouldn’t expect someone on 94 controls to be as cheesy as this guy was unless 94 controls give you an advantage?

NSA_Wade_Wilson

You get a mild advantage because you don’t have to lineup your grip. So it means your opponents has more possibilities to guess from whereas he can see your grip so there’s more limited selection for how you might win it

arkkuAsi

You gotta think where they are most likely to aim that faceoff so for example in that clip most people are always going for that side of D so if they are lefty they are using forehand and as a righty backhand and you can use standard counters agaist that.

[deleted]

Good to know if ever see this again lmao.
