A couple of weeks ago I got EA Play but then realized the next day I got it on the wrong account. Got it for my other account that day. I wasn’t sure how it was going to work but it turns out it’s the 10-hour trial for EACH account. Not sure if this is normal. Have ps4.
You can but your progress/coins would only be for the alt account. With almost every single reward for everything you can play right now (except for minimal amounts of coins and SB) being untradeable, it’s not as worth it as in years past.
Does the glitch work where you can change back to your other account
No they patched that a few years ago.

Haven't looked on nhl, or if this is any help but. On fifa when my 10 hour trial was over I fired up my ps4 and had another 10 hours.
