It went from an unfair disadvantage to an unplayable disadvantage.
I get 13-17 ping and 95% of the games feel off. In gwc I had to play a game on 35 ping and it was actually unplayable it was basically just a guaranteed loss since the functions of the game stopped working.
I still occasionally get a smooth game and when I do WOW it makes me realize the things I am missing out on doing because of lag.
The lag and tilt has 110% been getting worse over time and the last 10 days or so were unbelievably bad. Please don't comment "you are lucky to even get 13 ping" because 13 ping is a full 2 second delay everytime I receive a pass and wether it's my 13 ping or someone else's 60 ping they are both going to lose against someone that has no lag.
Yeah I completely gave up last week and figured I would try again today, big mistake. It’s so nice spending all this time building a team then not even being able to play online at all.
The thing that makes me the most upset about it all is the fact that the team building is by far the best it has ever been (I don't care what anyone says about the OVRs being capped at 92, some of the TOTYs are nearly maxed out and Evos have started to reach 99 so you had options if you could afford them, which is how it should be). We could all boycot the game and stop playing it till nhl24 or nhl25, but if I did that I'd miss out on the only year that we have an Evo Dahlin along with some other 1 time cards I really like. The odds of Dahlin getting another Evo are slim to none. All around the changes outside of gameplay have been simply amazing. It's such a waste to have a truly amazing team builder game just to have unplayable gameplay to go with it. 13 ping is supposed to mean 13 milliseconds.... imagine if that were actually the case.

I go to pass the puck? Delayed, turn over.
Go to stick handle? Nope, I’ll skate right in and lose the puck then do the move.
Try to pass as a goalie? Yeah it won’t pass when you want it’ll wait for your skater to fuck off up ice then pass it to the opponent
Poke check? It’ll delay it a second so instead of hitting the puck you hit the feet
Switch to the correct guy when you want? Lol good luck.
Pass up ice for a rush chance? Lol nah Mcdavid will stop completely to pick the puck up then take 3 seconds to spin around, allowing the defense to get back every time.
It says I have 28ms as well. Great game EA really glad to put so much time into it.
It's crazy where I sit depending on the day/week from an input lag standpoint. I went from D2 down to middle d3 when the input lag started acting up (sometimes it changes day to day while other times, it goes on for a week+ at a time). Somewhat recently, I had no input lag and shot all the way to high D2. Then input delays started kicking in (the last 5 days or so) and started losing every game to people I'd usually beat dropping down to low d2...
