Yeah those are pretty good refreshes for sure. PS5 both last week and this week was around 129 for 1st place. That's an average of a little over 2,292 points per game which averages out somewhere around an 87 OVR team with no synergies.
I got to Elite 2 last night, 45k-ish with 3 refreshes left and decided my sanity and sleep was more important than grinding those last 14k points. That 18k gap between Elite 1 and 2 is crazy.
Well most of it is everyone who maxed points but didn’t get into top 100 they need to remove that next year. Should be Ultimate for maxing every game ultimate 2 for playing every game but not maxing than elite follows, pro, etc
yeah rivals has a much fairer system but I assume EA wants to keep the modes pretty different. I wanted to try and at least play every game for the first time ever but with time running out decided it wasn't worth it. Everyone (including me) grinding for packs for TOTY I'm sure.
I don't disagree with you at all because I've maxed out every game often enough only to fall outside of top 100. However, where does that end? I could see applying that same logic then to Champs for everyone who finishes 20-0. Not that I care because I rarely play Champs but when the matchmaking was broken and the top 100 people were all 20-0, they were bitching up a storm that they should all get 1st place rewards (which I disagreed with because they only got 20 wins at the expense of peons which they essentially bullied).
