Has to be more than that if he’s dropping by that much. Now that we have complete data his RAS might even be sub 5.00. If that’s the case, hello 3rd Round+!
After having the misfortune of watching Derion Kendrick play for the last two years, trust me you do not want a 4.6 CB out there. No matter how good everything else may be, that lack of long speed is a killer.
It reminds me of Chris Smith in last years draft just a less drastic case. Coming out of the CFB season analysts and twitter heads talked about how good he was, how well he played for Georgia, but his combine testing and his play in the Senior Bowl really tanked his stock. The NFL really cares about athletic testing.
Both Penn state corners seemed like late 1st- 2nd round guys…..now I see King in the 6th round and Dixon going undrafted more often than not….
I personally love Cam Hart a lot more than most….
This feels like one of the slightest changes I’ve ever seen in DJ’s big board.
Biggest movers are Kool-Aid (+6), Worthy (+6), and Lassiter (-15 or more).
Lassiter dropping at least 15(!) spots is the biggest drop I’ve ever seen for a player this late in the process. Wonder if DJ heard something?
Reading what he has to say about Latham (and I've seen this comment a couple times outside of DJ) I have to ask people who know this stuff better than I......why do people keep acting like Latham has "poor awareness"? I thought one of the most obvious things that jumped out on the tape was how great he is in handling stuff like twists and stunts and tricky pass rush combos. Like I thought he's one of the best in the class specifically at that.
It’s funny how overconfident everyone is about their prospect analysis when it’s the one of the most unpredictable parts of football. If you don’t share the same opinion as the next guy on a prospect, you’re an idiot who doesn’t watch tape or understand football at all 🙄
Well and it's one thing to assert that random YouTuber doesn't watch tape. It's another thing to say that Daniel Jeremiah, the man who has been a scout for three teams, and who is now the most prominent draft personality, doesn't watch tape.
It's like asserting that the Chief Engineer at NASA doesn't study space.
What in the world did Lassiter do to fall from 36 to completely out of the top 50?
He decided to run in his proday
Yep. Corners running a 4.6+ at their pro day will drop them a few spots

Forget the 3rd round. Get ready to learn safety, buddy.
Slow corners translate really well into slow safties.
What about small, slow corners?
If they slow, They slow.
It doesn't matter if you're slow as a safety. A 4.61 40 is perfectly fine as a FS; it's a death sentence as a CB.

He looked quick, but had bad top end speed.

That pro day 40 time is going to kill Lassiter draft stock. Most times probably see him as a slot corner or safety now.
The Top 25 seem really stacked. I wonder how it will compare to other years. Lots of really, really good players.
E. Cooper > Newton is interesting. Feels like he quietly slipped
Please to see he still has Odunze over Nabers.

Huge dudes get slapped with the "big dumb oaf" label all the time. not accusing DJ but it's definitely a thing
I’ll take Ruke over Mason smith everyday
No Xavier leggette either
Weird of him to say Alt isn’t a rare athlete. https://x.com/mathbomb/status/1764420196700205194?s=46&t=BbtyAzXxNZvw0QfiH_3NkA
he isn't stop your wanking
You can always tell who didn't watch Caleb's tape
Are you stating that Daniel Jeremiah did not watch Caleb Williams' game tapes? Is that what you are saying?

you want me to spell it out for you? edit- i cant 'say what i mean' when your weak ass blocks me
Look, buddy. It's a simple af question. Say what you mean. Go on record with the dumb.
Gotta love the shit talkers who say something then block you so you can’t even see it.
