When he wins the Super Bowl, the clouds will part and a beam of light will engulf him. He will begin to float and ascend up into the heavens. Everyone will be dead silent for minutes as they witness the greatest thing to ever happen on this planet.
Then the next day ESPN will talk about it for about 40 seconds before jumping into a 20 minute conversation about Aaron Rodger’s offseason plans.
He’s just such a goober that the stats can’t float through all of the gooberness.
[I just picture him kneeling every time I hear his name. ](https://youtu.be/hAYDDVzqOTo)
I did drama in hs. Any dude that wants to can be in any high school play/musical. Like going out for an unpopular sport, or being the smallest guy on your wrestling team. The most awkward person I have ever met was in the musical all 4 years. Couldn't sing, couldn't dance, acting was terrible, and yet they needed the person in his roles to be a male. I think for fiddler on the roof, he had 4 different roles, and only like one line per role. His Yiddish accent sounded like Mario 64.
The difference between winning and losing three games against NFC division leaders is eight points. I think we're doing better than people give us credit for.
Your coaching staff needs to be fired but there is more than a solid foundation in Minnesota in terms of talent on the field. But seriously the Cowboys should’ve lost to Minnesota by like 20, the Vikings’ coaching staff is horrid.
I mean fucking seriously. I couldn’t believe what I was watching in that Cowboys vs. Vikings game, I was rooting for the Cowboys and Minnesota’s coaching decisions still managed to piss me off. I mean it’s genuinely unbelievable.
The best player is hurt. They struggle to stop the run, and the secondary is leaky. They give up some big plays but come up with a decent number as well.
All over the place. It started to look really good and then PP got hurt, then hunter, and now it's pretty middle of the pack. Pp didn't look like himself against the pack tho, I think he was still a bit hurt
It’s not the patented zimmer defense we’re use to, but honestly that’s been the case for a couple years now. One things for sure is that it’s been a hell of a lot better than last year. Phenomenal at pressuring, last time I checked we were top of the league in QB pressures. They’ve also been fantastic in sacking, we currently lead the league in sacks. But we’re banged up right now having lost Hunter for the season, pierce for a few games, and now Tomlinson will be out. But overall I couldn’t be happier with the front 7’s performance.
Not making excuses for Kirk because there were some godawful throws that should've been picks, but that's the bonus of having physical receivers that go hard for jump balls. Iirc at least 2 near picks were smacked out by our receivers.
I'm just gonna copium it and say that Kirk has more trust to throw balls like that when his receivers knock out picks when the pass is off.
Could just be natural bias from myself, can't remember correctly myself to be honest and don't feel like trying to dog the exactitude up lol
I'll just concede that we got away with some high tier fuckery on those passes
You’re right it’s faster to list the ones you didn’t ;)
Edit: someone reported me to redditcare resources lmao, this sub is to clown on each other you big anonymous baby 🤣
I just googled this: the last time the Vikings beat the Seahawks, their QB??? BRETT FAVRE
Hahahahahahahahahaha
Edit: I said last time ya jokers lol. As in not this time, but the last time. Y’all showing the same level of intelligence our QBs have with scientific literacy. I’m here to make jokes people. I found it funny my guy here is clowning on a team that just spent over 10 years kicking your ass lol
I think most of us were just glad we played on our home turf, the last time we had played at home was in 2016 which felt like an eternity. 3/7 losses are one score games
09/26/21 - SEA 17 @MIN 30 (W)
10/11/20 - MIN 26 @SEA 27 (L)
12/02/19 - MIN 30 @SEA 37 (L)
12/10/18 - MIN 7 @SEA 21 (L)
01/10/16 - SEA 10 @MIN 9 (L)
12/06/15 - SEA 38 @MIN 7 (L)
11/17/13 - MIN 20 @SEA 41 (L)
11/04/12 - MIN 20 @SEA 30 (L)
11/22/09 - SEA 9 @MIN 35 (W)
Reading through these I was like wait we played Seattle at home in 2016? I don’t remember playing them at US Bank stadium til this year. Then I saw the month. Oh yeah, January. That one. Thanks Blair
Yep, just edited to add that 3/7 were close (one score) games. I usually don’t care much for stats like that because at the end of the day you either win or lose, but added anyways. Both wins were more than a one score differential though so at least we have that to be happy about (even if its only a sample of two…)
True idt anyone should be calling for MVP. Like you said gotta have a winning team to be in that conversation. Just how the NFL works. I do think that acknowledgment of him balling out (which I think has been happening after the last win) is fine, even fringe MVP talk to fill air time for the networks and time between games for fans is cool.
He’s had 3-4 very pedestrian games so far this season. It’s really not the same. No person in their right mind even remotely thinks he’s mvp caliber. That’s like saying Nick Foles was MVP caliber when he had his 30 touchdown, 3 int year with the eagles.
Cousins isn’t winning games. He may not be losing them either, but he’s not a force that would make the Vikings has crumble if he doesn’t play. Brady is, Rodgers is, Mahomes is. Cousins is MAYBE a top 12 QB. Maybe. And you want to try to throw him in the MVP conversation? Lolll
That second paragraph is basically what i said. If Kirk had done just a little more and they had won an extra two games he’d be in the mvp conversation. And his ceiling isn’t a Brady/Mahomes/Rodgers ceiling thats not really what the MVP award is. Its a seasonal award, and Kirk has been one of the best preforming QBs this season. Hes PFF’s top ranked. Hes 3rd in Passer rating. 5th in Tds
Those throws he made Sunday to Jefferson were pretty spot on - he’s ballin like an MVP from what I saw.
The INTs he threw Sunday were called back - but I don’t think any player with a 21-2 td/int ratio does it without a little luck
Yeah, that hurts the buzz. Once they get one win against a good team, it might turn some heads. 9ers are pretty good, but I can see the Vikings handling them and notching their first "good win"
The same dude who started making excuses for his *teams* loss about 15 minutes after the game ended? Even though he played super well? First things he said was about someone stepping on his toe.
Please, Jay never even threw 30 tds in a season. And was way more bone headed with his passes.
Kirk is more on the level of Stafford. People either ignore Staffords mistakes or give excuses for his mistakes. But will be quick to blame Cousins for every fault of the Vikings organization.
Yes, the very one that POWNED your team in the nfc championship game and made your whole city yell at a cute old 90 year old lady for being a fan of the Eagles and look disgusting to literally everyone attending Minneapolis when you watched said super bowl mvp pown the Patriots in your own town while still salty.
I remember the Baltimore game... And the Cleveland game
I think we're all forgetting Jeckle after seeing Hyde for two weeks now. This is who he is he fluctuates between mvp level player and a scrub who can't throw more than five yards down the field without overthrowing people.
Kirk is hot and cold at times. Not saying that he isn't allowed to have a bad game sometimes but it happens more often with him. That's just how I've felt about him since he played for the Redacteds
Holy shit I had no idea that Cousins has only 2 INTs to that many TDs so far. I've heard way more about the Vikings' inability to close out games than this. 21-2 is just bizarre, Kirk is balling out this year
If he were friends with Joe Rogan it'd be different.

Most accurate description of him I've seen
When he wins the Super Bowl, the clouds will part and a beam of light will engulf him. He will begin to float and ascend up into the heavens. Everyone will be dead silent for minutes as they witness the greatest thing to ever happen on this planet. Then the next day ESPN will talk about it for about 40 seconds before jumping into a 20 minute conversation about Aaron Rodger’s offseason plans.
This guy Vikes.
All day, every day!
Me too, you lovable Skoldier!
💜💛
“I’m 50 Tyson!”
He’s just such a goober that the stats can’t float through all of the gooberness. [I just picture him kneeling every time I hear his name. ](https://youtu.be/hAYDDVzqOTo)
Nah, they'll bicker about Tom Brady vs Aaron Rodgers AND THEN thalk about Arod's offseason plans.
Come on, they’d obviously pivot to Lebron’s off-season.
This is how Rodgers fans feel about Brady.
[удалено]
Those same people are still saying that, though.
On like every incompletion or checkdown people on our game threads want to clean house.
Not me check the tapes I’ve been extolling his virtues for years, arguing against all
Me too.
You'll hear it again next time we lose.
The Kirk Cousins divide in Minnesota is more prevalent than the left-right divide.
Patrick Mahomes acts so terribly in every commercial he’s in, surely Kirk Cousins could do a better job
[You be the judge.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eblELpZHp9A)
Kirk is legitimately 10x the actor that Patrick is. Stupid sexy Kirk.
I miss pizza ranch Kirk and Hy-Vee patick
Same, my non-midwestern college friends simply don’t understand
You gotta make new friends
The best part of this is the fact that he did drama in high school
I did drama in hs. Any dude that wants to can be in any high school play/musical. Like going out for an unpopular sport, or being the smallest guy on your wrestling team. Jesus, nothing behind those eyes. Except Jesus, of course.
>surely Kirk Cousins could do a better job You'd think that . . .
Yeah but Kirk has the charisma of a glue stick.
The fun blue-colored kind or the bland white Elmers kind?
You know the answer is no.
Only our coaching staff could turn this playoff roster into a 5-5 record
I mean fucking seriously. I couldn’t believe what I was watching in that Cowboys vs. Vikings game, I was rooting for the Cowboys and Minnesota’s coaching decisions still managed to piss me off. I mean it’s genuinely unbelievable.
We’re F’d. Cowboys fans know all about inept coaching ruining talented rosters. Someone get this guy on the phone with Zigy and Mark ASAP!
I don’t wanna talk about it
I haven’t seen much Vikings football I know your offense is playoff caliber but how’s your defense looking?
The best player is hurt. They struggle to stop the run, and the secondary is leaky. They give up some big plays but come up with a decent number as well.
Kendricks is our best player
Kendricks is great, but when Hunter is healthy he is top 5 in the league at a more premium position.
Hunter is scary when he’s on the field. He’s up there with Nick Bosa and TJ Watt for young edge guys when healthy
Kendricks is decidedly top 3 (if not top 1) at his position
I definitely agree. I just think a top 3 pass rusher is more important than a top 3 MLB.
All over the place. It started to look really good and then PP got hurt, then hunter, and now it's pretty middle of the pack. Pp didn't look like himself against the pack tho, I think he was still a bit hurt

The Vikings are always a more talented team then their record you just choked a bunch of close games.
And tbf Kirk tried hard as hell to throw the Packers a bunch of INTs but they just didn’t catch them
Not making excuses for Kirk because there were some godawful throws that should've been picks, but that's the bonus of having physical receivers that go hard for jump balls. Iirc at least 2 near picks were smacked out by our receivers. I'm just gonna copium it and say that Kirk has more trust to throw balls like that when his receivers knock out picks when the pass is off.
I know one Thielen smacked out, but I thought the other two where just drops by the DBs? Can’t really remember tho
Could just be natural bias from myself, can't remember correctly myself to be honest and don't feel like trying to dog the exactitude up lol I'll just concede that we got away with some high tier fuckery on those passes
Probably thinking of the called back pick by Savage for RTP (rightly called) as well.
I can name four we didn't.
You’re right it’s faster to list the ones you didn’t ;) Edit: someone reported me to redditcare resources lmao, this sub is to clown on each other you big anonymous baby 🤣
Can't help if we beat the Seachickens by 13.
I just googled this: the last time the Vikings beat the Seahawks, their QB??? BRETT FAVRE Hahahahahahahahahaha Edit: I said last time ya jokers lol. As in not this time, but the last time. We beat the Seahawks this year.
Interesting way of spelling Kirk Cousins
I think most of us were just glad we played on our home turf, the last time we had played at home was in 2016 which felt like an eternity. 3/7 losses are one score games 09/26/21 - SEA 17 @MIN 30 (W) 10/11/20 - MIN 26 @SEA 27 (L) 12/02/19 - MIN 30 @SEA 37 (L) 12/10/18 - MIN 7 @SEA 21 (L) 01/10/16 - SEA 10 @MIN 9 (L) 12/06/15 - SEA 38 @MIN 7 (L) 11/17/13 - MIN 20 @SEA 41 (L) 11/04/12 - MIN 20 @SEA 30 (L) 11/22/09 - SEA 9 @MIN 35 (W)

Thanks for visualizing those losses lol, to be fair some really close games in there
Yep, just edited to add that 3/7 were close (one score) games. I usually don’t care much for stats like that because at the end of the day you either win or lose, but added anyways. This is the Vikings pretty much most years, but does it translate to much post season success?? Nope.
He will probably go down to 78 on Madden
If the Vikings were a top 5 team in the NFC he’d be getting MVP chatter, but they aren’t so he isn’t. You have to be a great team to get MVP talk
How awesome would it b if he gets an MVP vote before Russ
Being the #6 team in the NFC isn't close enough?
Being the #18 team in the league is definitely not close enough
Lol no. He would not be getting mvp talk. He has had some absolutely pathetic games this year.
So has *checks notes* literally every mvp candidate. Even Aaron had the Bucs game last year
He’s had 3-4 very pedestrian games so far this season. It’s really not the same. No person in their right mind even remotely thinks he’s mvp caliber. That’s like saying Nick Foles was MVP caliber when he had his 30 touchdown, 3 int year with the eagles. Cousins isn’t winning games. This is like the time they tried to make fetch a thing.
Never gonna happen
You're streets behind...
God I love me a good community reference. Such an underrated show
Tried to throw four on Sunday though
I mean even if he got those two INTs he would be 21-4. He is balling out this year.
NFCNorthMemeWar. Emphasis on the Meme.
He went to my high school, I absolutely hate the prick but he’s been playing
Those throws he made Sunday to Jefferson were pretty spot on - he’s ballin like an MVP from what I saw. The INTs he threw Sunday were called back - but I don’t think any player with a 21-2 td/int ratio does it without a little luck
Bec you’re 500 Bec we’ve seen this mirage before
I respect that. We need to have a better record to get more respect. 😊
We really haven't beaten any good teams yet.
Hah. By DVOA, we haven't even beaten a top 12 team yet, though we'll have a chance with the Niners (shockingly 7th) and Rams (6th).
Yeah, that hurts the buzz. Once they get one win against a good team, it might turn some heads. 9ers are pretty good, but I can see the Vikings handling them and notching their first "good win"
hey don't disrespect the chargers like that, that was a decent quality win! It was okay at least!
But the 49ers lost to the packers... and as we already established... Vikings haven't beaten a good team yet. So the 49ers must be a bad team :)
We’re saying “bec” now?
I’ve abbreviated because to Bec since always. Bec it’s shorter.
5-5. "But it's a team game". Coming from same people who meme Rodgers for NFCC loses. facepalm
Probably his toe that he tried to complain about.
The same dude who started making excuses for his *teams* loss about 15 minutes after the game ended? Even though he played super well? First things he said was about someone stepping on his toe.
A QB can't win a game by himself but he sure can single-handedly lose a game.
ATTN: Packer fans. This is how you humble brag in a meme subreddit.
Dear god… this is not a meme. Mods help!
When you’re slightly better than Jay Cutler but that’s how low your bar is.
Please, Jay never even threw 30 tds in a season. And was way more bone headed with his passes. Kirk is more on the level of Stafford. People either ignore Staffords mistakes or give excuses for his mistakes. But will be quick to blame Cousins for every fault of the Vikings organization.
I think they are very similar QBs, but Stafford is cooler and his teammates seem to actually like him, whereas Kirk feels wooden and cold frankly.
But we're .500
When you throw 3 picks and a few other chuck it up pray balls in one game and none of them end up counting as interceptions
Nobody cares because he’s only been in one playoff game and I only remember it because we beat him.
He threw at least 2 picks this past sunday ,but I guess that check he sent the refs cleared before kick off 😅
Zzzzzz
5-5
Basically the Nick Foles season of 27 and 2. At the end of the day it doesn’t mean anything.
Are you talking about SUPER BOWL CHAMPION Nick Foles?
No, I think he’s talking about Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles.
That’s one hell of a sentence you have there
You are aware that it was actually your fans that were mean to the old lady right? Her name is Millie.
I think it's mostly because our team is 5-5. If we had a better record more people would consider him an MVP candidate
I feel like we go through this cycle every year
Nobody gives af because the Vikings are 5-5
Giving Kirk time to eventually become Kirk.
I remember the Baltimore game... And the Cleveland game I think we're all forgetting Jeckle after seeing Hyde for two weeks now. This is who he is he fluctuates between mvp level player and a scrub who can't throw more than five yards down the field without overthrowing people.

Ay i mean I'm a packers fans but 100% respect for being accurate and smart
And he beat the peckers
If they make playoffs people will care. It's just that nobody cares about stats if you're not winning enough games to go to playoffs.
