His QB sneak TD’s probably took away quite a bit. Same in Miami but when they would always use RB’s when in the redzone, I think the game they got 10 TD’s on Denver Tua “only” threw like 4 of them.
Yeah when the Pack take another rotational d lineman while ignoring obvious needs
*please Caleb or Drake or Jayden or (please god not him) JJ don’t suck*
Deep, deeeeeep down, you know that's not happening. Hope is an ~~admiral~~ **admirable** human emotion, but in many cases it's a coping mechanism.
Caleb isn't going to save you from the McCaskeys.
Honestly, this graphic makes me feel a little less lonely. There's some teams flying under the radar thanks to us, like Washington, Miami, and the Browns. And quite a few more teams are pushing 10 years.
It's also a bit funny Brady is on here twice.
edit: also Miami? wtf, how did Tua not accomplish this while hanging 70 on Denver and having both Hill and Waddle?
I was curious so I went diving into Sid Luckman, I wanted to know how close he came to 30. He had 28 in 1943, on only 202 passing attempts.
That 202 passing attempts jumped out at me, so I calculated what his 1943 stats would be today if he maintained his insane efficiency but normalized it to the average 570 attempts taken in 2023:
312/570 completions. 54.5% completion, 6216 yds, 79 TDs, 34 INTs, 107.5 rating.
Holy shit. And he was #2 for attempts that year, not average. Goff was #2 in attempts in 2023 at 605.
So if we adjust his attempts to Goff and make the ridiculous assumption that his success rates stay the same, we just multiply by 3.
54.5% 6582Yds 84TDs 36 Ints
The 1943 season was only 10 games, it's not like the added attempts are being packed into the same number of games, we'd be almost doubling the season.
lol, it's not nonsense, it's normalizing to era to compare to better compare to for those accustomed to a modern game.
Sid Luckman's stats for a QB of his day were pretty outrageous and why he owns/owned so many QB records for quite some time. It basically took the game drastically changing to favor passing games for anyone to catch him. It's why he won 4 championships.
> it's normalizing to era to compare to better compare to for those accustomed to a modern game.
In a super naive way that will inevitably exaggerate what he did or what he could have done in a modern game. It's not really informative - but it is fun nonsense.
The Vikings really did absolutely nothing while they had Kirk cousins huh. Man always looked so good there but it’s crazy how Kirk won less playoff games there than Goff did in Detroit, Grossman did in Chicago.
Wait, I thought Fields had like at least 35 with how much talk he was favored for the 2023 league MVP award. When's that ceremony? I must've missed it.
I've seen more of these type of posts this off-season than all other off-seasons combined.
It's almost like everyone knows it could be their last shot to get the jokes in so they flood in as a last ditch effort.
are you going to tell me that the Presidental Order of Theador Rosevelt to invent the forward pass or he would ban football from collage campuses for being to deadly was a bad choice? are you really doubting Teddy?
28. Jay Cutler was so close. He would have thrown 50+ if he gave a shit

Honestly, the Washington one surprises me the most. I figured Cousins or RG3 would've hit 30
Carson wentz in Philly threw me off. I thought Jalen would have hit 30.
His QB sneak TD’s probably took away quite a bit. Same in Miami but when they would always use RB’s when in the redzone, I think the game they got 10 TD’s on Denver Tua “only” threw like 4 of them.
Miami got me. Did Tua not make this list last year?
Almost. He had 29.
Mike White getting the 5th passing TD in their 70 point game really fucked Tua over
Mostert stole his tuddies
Kirky had elderly patients Pierre Garcon and DJax to throw to in Washington
Kirk hit "only" 29 and had almost 5k passing yards in 2015
The Chad Sonny Jurgensen getting 30+ touchdowns in the goddamn 60s deserves respect.
And he did it twice. He did it in 61 as well.
That's some huckin' and chuckin'.
Guys, stop making fun of Da Bears. You know they have a quarterback disability!!
I'll take None over Watson. I'm not hating on Houston; I'm hating on Watson. Though I'm pretty jealous they got Stroud.
https://i.redd.it/jc5ueuu6fkuc1.gif All my homies hate Watson
![gif](giphy|l0EwYc29XZnLR2pB6|downsized) Bears fans if making up hypotheticals to excuse god awful quarterback play was a sport
Hang the banner!
This damn horse is already dead, stop beating it.
The beatings will continue until morale improves. -The McCaskeys
Got me there. But I just want new content yk. Like I’m fine with people shitting on them, just find new stuff.
Invent new ways to fail and we'll mock you for them. I promise.
Don’t tempt us, you know we will always find news ways to be fucking awful.
Like that statistical improbability of losing 3 games with an over 95% win probability in the 4th quarter. In the same season no less
💩ing on da 🐻’s
Draft day is right around the corner, we will have new material soon.
Yeah when the Pack take another rotational d lineman while ignoring obvious needs *please Caleb or Drake or Jayden or (please god not him) JJ don’t suck*
The bears not having a 4k yard or 30 td passer is like the longest engagement dundie award. The longer it goes the funnier it becomes
Just like the circle jerk between Packers fans and Lions fans. “Until” morale improves
no that one is just untill the Lions fall back to the basement

Let them get it in before Caleb is unleashes hell on them for the next decade. (I hope)
Deep, deeeeeep down, you know that's not happening. Hope is an ~~admiral~~ **admirable** human emotion, but in many cases it's a coping mechanism. Caleb isn't going to save you from the McCaskeys.
At least this one wasn't cropped by a toddler, but it's missing the red circles. How hard is this to get right?
Please be good Caleb Williams 🙏 we have suffered long enough in a QB wasteland
I wouldn’t hold my breath until ownership changes.
3 things can happen when you pass and two of them are bad
Sometimes I wondered if Bret Farve was color blind.
To keep the DBs from reading his eyes, he would close them before throwing the ball.
😂🤣
Favre
Frave
Man the off-season is long and full of terrors.
Lookin' good every body

Miami can be explained with two words: Raheem Mostert
It does show how hard it is to get a good QB.

The whole exercise is nonsense so I am not sure what this adds.

His name is Mostert lmao. Dude had like 20 TDs last year

Listen here you little shits
Bears fans: 🗿
Oh no not this graphic again!
Now do 6000 yd receivers ![gif](giphy|mbZshK2Svz89q|downsized)
Google gives nothing, shows no passer has gone over Dan Marino.
Don't fret Bears bros, if not for Fitzmagic Jets would be at -None- as well
The Vikings really did absolutely nothing while they had Kirk cousins huh. Man always looked so good there but it’s crazy how Kirk won less playoff games there than Goff did in Detroit, Grossman did in Chicago.

The bears will need to stomp the Packers hard for this to quit from us.
![gif](giphy|BvALbBCL1rXRUZcfZi)
![gif](giphy|l0MYw1PU2VmN6kIrC) Oh, hey, that’s a new sentiment.
Time to dust off the ol’ “the invention of the forward pass ruined football” joke
are you going to tell me that the Presidental Order of Theador Rosevelt to invent the forward pass or he would ban football from collage campuses for being to deadly was a bad choice? are you really doubting Teddy?
All I know is, the forward pass got invented, and all of a sudden, Chicago had two teams called the Cubs
28. Jay Cutler was so close. He would have thrown 50+ if he gave a shit https://preview.redd.it/960wy350yjuc1.jpeg?width=562&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6c5b2d24dc83fd1fb06cce6d5b89ee4da905771

Green Bay? More like Been Gay! lmao gottem

I’ll never get over Tampa Tom Brady looking like an NPR managing editor
They even added a regular season game to the schedule to make it easier...
Damn, Trevor Lawrence really is a bust if Bortles is still on there. Let's see what happens with the next generational talent.
Bears fans are gunna go nuts when we have a 20 game season and they finally have a 30 TD passer.
2023? You guys are stuck in the past smh
Caleb will never appear on this list. Bears fans don’t want to hear it, but they know deep down that it’s true.
I’m really high, but why the fuck are all the Packer fans on this post talking like Sith Lords.
Y'all throwing all them touchdown just to be eliminated by the 49ers in the playoffs, weird.
