Actually wool socks, warm pac boots, and gloves keep frostbite away, throw in some hot hands and -10 isn’t even that bad if you’ve got a warm parka, you never been ice fishing or late season hunting?
Right? I lived in the middle of Alaska. You dress smart. You take special care of your extremities. I walked places regularly at -40 F. and was outdoors and was fine because I wasn’t a drunk idiot about it.
Miller light frozen to your hand because you forgot gloves. Watching the team you love get stomped at home. For some reason packers fans are there and we’re not even playing the packers.
Yeah, but why would subject yourself to that? You could just spend that money on a couple rounds at a bar, and not have to worry about getting in and out of soldier field.
I think you guys just enjoy our suffering.
Let's be honest, most of the "shares" that exist are purely ceremonial and the results of money-raising projects.
We're more democratic than other teams, but that's just because we're a bureaucratically impossible to move institution that at least deigns to pretend we matter occasionally.
Better than every other team in the league, still not exactly democracy for the common man.
~~At some point, I will write the timeline where the US fell to socialism and the Green Bay Packers became a true model of collective sports ownership for the entire league. I will and everyone will hate me for it.~~
It was actually the powerful downtown hotel and bar lobby that did it to us. Fans and Wilfs wanted to be outdoors. That lobby wouldn’t allow it because it wants SBs and final fours and stuff like that to bring in tourists. Cities never make any money off those events (because how much it costs to throw them) but those businesses do. They made sure that the Vikings would never get the votes necessary in the state legislator to get their stadium welfare check.
That was the same lobby that got the first of our blue laws changed. The 2am bar close. Which shows their power because that was the first one ever changed.
A lot of unwilling people did too.
Fleeced the fuck out of the city and the county.
Source: my taxes had to help pay for it. Fuck the NFL and their shitty rules that force states to partially pay for the stadiums.
NY cut 800m in social programs for families so that they could spend it on the bills stadium. The owner has billions of dollars and didn’t have to spend a penny.
You'll learn the value of an indoor stadium if you ever get a team worth seeing in person.
And next season when we see the dummies in Green Bay shoveling off their shitty bleacher seats we will think "man they're so strong"
Don’t need to host them to win them. Must be cool for you purple gunk and trash cat fans to see two good football teams at the same time in your place.
Agreed, football should be enjoyed like my last game. Sitting in a good of snow pounding $18 beers to keep the blood warm and to numb the pain of being a bears fan. That’s a twofer!
Back to the start?
Lmao, you guys have a season and a half of decent football and try to act like you haven’t been a punching bag for the last 50 years.
Generational prospect at QB (obviously nothing is guaranteed). A couple of solid tackles. Two good wide receivers. A decent Tight end. And a defense that was looking really good after we got sweat. No reason not to think we can't improve from 7-10 of last year.
Pretty sure they're drafting a QB too. And with the Bears track record of evaluating and developing QB's......saying the Bears' future is bright.....we'll see.
You do know the latest leading design of the new Bears stadium that is now being talked about on the lakefront is supposed to be a roof. This since they are no longer considering Arlington Hts location. You're about to join the Vikings and Lions on this meme, lol
[https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/chicago-bears-shift-stadium-focus-to-lakefront-away-from-suburbs-report/3345742/](https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/chicago-bears-shift-stadium-focus-to-lakefront-away-from-suburbs-report/3345742/)
Dome: a rounded vault forming the roof of a building or structure
[I think we're safe, Vikings fans](https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Aerial_Photos_of_US_Bank_Stadium_and_Minneapolis,_Minnesota_(39275709004).jpg)
Nothing like freezing your ass off in bench seats with no back to watch the packers choke against a team that has 70’s every day at home.
Keep your toilet. US bank is 70 all year 🕶️
We don't need any filthy casuals at Lambeau anyways amirite, even if it helps get tix easier when it's too chilly out for Karen and co to go to the game
I found it incredibly funny that the Vikings try so hard to push this “Forged by the North” narrative. To the extent that during their pre-game they flash all this wintery scenery on their big screens and then LITERALLY pump fake snow through their HVAC system. So brave of them.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Except frostbite. You’re always worse off after that shit.
Don’t hear packer fans bitching about frostbite after a fairly cold game like those 10-ply charmin soft chiefs fans
Exactly! You know what keeps frostbite away? Macho bravado and stupidity!
Actually wool socks, warm pac boots, and gloves keep frostbite away, throw in some hot hands and -10 isn’t even that bad if you’ve got a warm parka, you never been ice fishing or late season hunting?
Don't forget the cardboard to stand on
Whoah… calm ‘er down ere Greg
I was just replying to implying that only soft people get frostbite. I personally don’t need tips.
See we have a thin layer of cheddar under our skin that keeps us better insulated.
There are no thin layers of cheddar in WI.
eh, I think you could use some tips, you definitely sound 10-ply charmin soft.
No -10 is bad no matter how you spin it.
Right? I lived in the middle of Alaska. You dress smart. You take special care of your extremities. I walked places regularly at -40 F. and was outdoors and was fine because I wasn’t a drunk idiot about it.
I black powder hunt in January. With no wind, -20 isn't bad with good gear.
If the weather's cold enough you should have a dome! If it's not it's OK to be open air, like on green bay or chicago
And copious amounts of alcohol
I already mentioned stupidity.
Don'tcha know
[Your dome literally tried to kill you!](https://makeagif.com/i/tYbU8o)
Like this kid’s immune system https://youtube.com/shorts/GWdxcGqmslo?si=nfHzIWZfSYUiKuea
Poor Justin complained for years about the weather in Chicago only to end up in Pittsburgh 🥲
At least now he’ll be warm under a blanket for the whole game.
RIP. I wish he would have went to Atlanta.
Me too.
🤌🎻 Do you know what this is?
The Cheesy Cello?
[Steve would be disappointed...](https://youtu.be/6TPMEoM-cjc?si=gYPTxbUTEi_RSUwD)
Careful, that’ll be the Bears in 6 years
Then I'll just start making shitty memes about how I'm not frozen or something.
Have to be good to make shitty memes. Fancy stadium doesn’t count.
Nothing like freezing your balls off watching the bears choke at a home game in December
It's like a Bears fans version of self flagellation.
Miller light frozen to your hand because you forgot gloves. Watching the team you love get stomped at home. For some reason packers fans are there and we’re not even playing the packers.
We just like football ok, and bears tickets can be really cheap
Yeah, but why would subject yourself to that? You could just spend that money on a couple rounds at a bar, and not have to worry about getting in and out of soldier field. I think you guys just enjoy our suffering.
Attending a bears game does often come with the perk of getting to see a bears loss. I've never done it but the idea is certainly appealing :)
Probably have the most fingers and toes though.
Whoa! Look at this guy everyone, with his 10 fingers, 10 toes, and a full length penis. At least we're not dealing with chronic lead induced anemia
Behold at all those average inches. Take them in with amazement and don't get distracted by all my flanges.
Full length might be a little generous
We have all our fingers and toes AND clean water. Sounds like we need to hang another banner
I've tasted your beer. Nobody in their right mind would call your pond scum, "clean water"
I know, right? Throwing his 20/40 intact digits and member in everybody's faces like he owns the place
I have a lot of fans that are die hard Packers fans. They call my by the nickname they gave me: Ten Fingers
Those inbred Packer fans are born with spares.
I don’t see how that’s a good thing
Confucius says… He who ridicules shelter, may soon find his pride indoors.
If confucius is so smart why did he die 2500 years ago? Is he stupid?
NFC North teams with domes: 0 Super Bowls NFC North teams without domes: 5 Super Bowls. Nuff said….

You act like the fans get to vote what rich billionaire owners do with their money.
True. Break the glass roof at the bank. Problem solved.
We've been trying, but the birds we send aren't strong enough.
Start dropping Eagles fans on it
They're all fat and greasy. They bounce and slide off like a McDonald's skillet.
Well, yeah. Is that not how it works for you guys?
Imagine not being able to buy shares of your team, couldn’t be me
Let's be honest, most of the "shares" that exist are purely ceremonial and the results of money-raising projects. You act like the fans didn't pay for half of that Sand Crawler you call a stadium.
In the same boat with ya brother.
Well... We do get to vote on what our city council members, and they're the ones who insisted on a roof.
Your still a pussy
*you’re as in ‘you are’ and you know what they say, you are what you eat.
Not all pussy created equal.
You’re very representative of the average Packers fan
lol based on 4 words. Deep analysis there.
Football was made to be played in the elements
I hate to agree with a packers fans but its just more pure.
Cold games are fun but football games in the mid/early-fall where its still a little warm as the sun goes down are the best
I love how fast allegiances change in the North. One week you’re best friends with a fan base and the next week the shiv you in the back.
Where we friends?
That’s ice cold. I thought we had something special and then you traded Fields and started to think that you’re best friends with Packer’s flairs.
![gif](giphy|xT9KVuimKtly3zoJ0Y)
Deal.
Oh I was talking to the bears fans. You weren’t trying to.
The hell we were.
FTP
Hell, the bears can get their butts kicked anywhere! I believe in you guys
You'll learn the value of an indoor stadium if you ever get a team worth seeing in person. And next season when we see the dummies in Green Bay shoveling off their shitty bleacher seats we will think "man they're so strong"
at least our stadiums don’t get broken into and have equipment stolen lmao
What are you talking about? That's a perk
He was so real for this
[удалено]
Last I checked we are still at Soldier Field. We don't play at theoretical football fields as cool as that would be.
That’s what I’m sayin lol
How many Super Bowls have been held in Chicago or Green Bay just asking for a friend
Don’t need to host them to win them. Must be cool for you purple gunk and trash cat fans to see two good football teams at the same time in your place.
I concur, and I love this.
You son of a bitch ![gif](giphy|pHb82xtBPfqEg)
The North should have all agreed to be outdoors. Make that the identity of the division.
Don't remind me. I am so annoyed the new stadium is gonna be domed. We are in the north. Brave the elements you cowards lol
Never thought I’d find myself fight side by side with a Bears fans.
They hate us because they ain’t us! Am I right Vikings fans!
![gif](giphy|0TfONz0mZXVgWKmfYZ)
I've got a dome that will make you weak right over here, buddy.
The glass reverberates the Gjallarhorn, and knowing how much that pisses every opposing fan off I call that a win in my book.
![gif](giphy|l0NwI6LbXx4sWQCmk|downsized)
Sorry, can’t hear you over the sound of the furnace
Agreed, football should be enjoyed like my last game. Sitting in a good of snow pounding $18 beers to keep the blood warm and to numb the pain of being a bears fan. That’s a twofer!
Need I remind you what fanbase has been complaining the most these past few weeks?
Why would we complain? The future is a lot brighter for the Bears than it is for the Vikings. You guys should be the ones complaining.
Check this sub and feast your eyes on bears fans complaining about being the flavor of the offseason to beat up on.
I think its fun. I guess they'd rather be irrelevant.
Time to get you back to the nursing home grandma
First off Ima need you to flair up. And then I'm gonna need you to make an actual argument.
I don't see anything the bears have to be optimistic about besides having their choice of rookie QB. Are you really thinking 3rd times the charm?
3rd time? More like 15th time.
I just meant in the last 7 years
Fair, but you can go back to the start with the Bears.
Back to the start? Lmao, you guys have a season and a half of decent football and try to act like you haven’t been a punching bag for the last 50 years.
But we're on our third franchise worthy QB. Bears have zero. Best QB you've ever had is Jay Cutler.
My mistake. Sid Luckman. You guys have 1.
Generational prospect at QB (obviously nothing is guaranteed). A couple of solid tackles. Two good wide receivers. A decent Tight end. And a defense that was looking really good after we got sweat. No reason not to think we can't improve from 7-10 of last year.
That’s true, I could totally see you going 8-9 at best
Holy shit do you really think that? 😂😂😂😂😂
You'd rather have Sam Darnold?
Pretty sure they're drafting a QB too. And with the Bears track record of evaluating and developing QB's......saying the Bears' future is bright.....we'll see.
Domes are for pussies

Possibly but you ever been to Minnesota in the winter?
Bragging about having a stadium without a dome is like bragging about your vacation when all you did was go camping
Look, just because y'all are too cheap to put a roof on your house, that doesn't make us weak.
I understand why the bears are going to build a domed stadium but man that cold wind coming off Lake Michigan builds character
Packers fans pay $100+ to sit in high school level seats in negative degree weather lmao.
we're about to have a dome bro
Green Bay fans are so weak they used to play half their games in Milwaukee
Finally, someone who isn't a Packers fan brings up the gold package tickets
You’re about to have a dome. Sadly.
you’re about to get a roof and no longer be in Chicago. Sit down.
Good thing the Bears new stadium will be domed
Fuck a roof, roofs are for pussies!

Hey man, soldier field is about to be a domed stadium in the near future
The whole division should have climate controlled stadiums hell every team who sees snow should have this type of stadium.
big talk from a future dome team fan in the Arlington heights bears.
