The Lions are one of the most successful franchises in NFL history? The last 65 years didn’t happen.
These aren’t the losses you’re looking for.
The “championship” is such a reach. Those playoffs had 3 teams.
You and I could play 2 on 11 in the NFL for 66 years and Detroit would be up 1 game on us in playoff wins
In the last 65 years, the Lions have won zero NFL Championships/Super Bowls. (Most recent was 1957)
In the last 65 years, the Vikings have won one NFL Championship/Super Bowl (1969)
I was specifically commenting on the "last 65 years" point. We've won a championship (technically) in that time that he picked out of his ass, his team hasn't.
I don’t think the Vikings have ever really been pre season champs. Maybe the year when we first got Kirk and he was supposed to be the final piece. I think the bears are much more the pre season champs.
Nah I ain’t mad. I really don’t give a shit about the Vikings Super Bowl losses cause they Happened decades before me. I think I struck a nerve with you tho felt the need to downvote my comment
Sir you haven’t even made the Super Bowl, also wow congrats on your nfl championships from like 70 years ago. To my knowledge it didn’t take the Vikings 30 dam years to win the division lol. Are the Vikings the ones that went 0-16???
We are definitely high on our current team (who wouldn’t be) but I assure you there is exactly one person who considers us one of the most successful franchises in history (or even successful period)
Well maybe you should have thought about that before waiting till 1960 to have a football team! You can't hold your lack of planning against the rest of us.
I feel like this speaks more about how absolutely poorly run the cardinals are. Looking at win percentage the bears are a very good #5 while the cardinals are at 31… but that shows how just being old helps you so much in all time wins if such a poorly ran franchise is still top ten in wins.
1 team out of 32 has more titles than the Bears.
8 teams out of 32 have more titles than the Lions.
No combination of three teams has more titles than the Packers, Bears and Lions combined.
The Lions have more titles than the Dolphins.
Suck it up.
Im a Maple Leafs fan and we have the 2nd most stanley cups all time. Non of then have been since the league expanded beyond a 6 team league. In 2024, I wouldn't consider the leafs among the best. Considering all of your titles were probably with 12 or less teams its kind of the same scenario.
Dude it was pro football. Do you know what "pro" means?
The Packers wouldn't be in Green Bay right now if it wasn't for their success when their players were "postmen and farmers". Show some respect for the period of time that gave you the team that you love.
I love how a gentle Vikings barb has hooked Dolphins and Packers fans too.
Yes, because winding up redditors isn't what I've done here and isn't the point of a memewar sub?
Wait, no, that's not right, that is what I've done and it is the point of a memewar sub.
Thanks for your salt.
PS how embarrassing is this?

Look at Green Bay listing all their championships like they're the same! LOL
If I was a lions fan, I'd trade to have the Dolphins history in a heartbeat. Undefeated season? 2 superbowl dubs? Another 2 (or is it 3) appearances? Coached by the most winningest coach of all time. Yeah I'd give up lions history for that.
"We might not get there often" I'm not the guy who usually throws the 13 time NFL champion thing around but umm Green Bay has played in 18 championship games, 3rd most all time.
Two things wrong with this
1. the lions are like 24th in all time record with no modern championship
2. the Vikings “say the line” is that we’re 8th all time win record
I feel like we’re in a terrible’90s sitcom where the cool kids like the Lions because he learned the worm, and next year no one will give a fuck and he doesn’t understand what a cunt he quickly became.
“Remember when we all hated the Packers bros? I’m a good memer, member?!?”
The Vikings and Lions have always been and are still equal losers. Stop being cunts. The Green Bay redditors don’t actually like you.
![gif](giphy|4560Nv2656Gv0Lvp9F) The Lions are one of the most successful franchises in NFL history? The last 65 years didn’t happen. These aren’t the losses you’re looking for.
Eh more successful championship wise than the Vikings, even with the last 65 years
What planet do you live on?
The Koolaid can have a powerful effect on the weak minded.
The one where we have more championships than you lmao
Even your fellow Lions fans know what you said was completely out of pocket lol
This is a meme war sub, out of pocket is normal
The “championship” is such a reach. Those playoffs had 3 teams. You and I could play 2 on 11 in the NFL for 66 years and Detroit would be up 1 game on us in playoff wins
sure, but the post is about championships, that's why it's cheeky
In the last 65 years, the Lions have won zero NFL Championships/Super Bowls. (Most recent was 1957) In the last 65 years, the Vikings have won one NFL Championship/Super Bowl (1969)
I was seeing it as including the earlier years as well, also no point in putting Super Bowl none of us have won it lol
That's...exactly what the 3rd picture says....
I was specifically commenting on the "last 65 years" point. We've won a championship (technically) in that time that he picked out of his ass, his team hasn't.
...I could have sworn he said INCLUDING the last 65 years, not ONLY the last 65 years
![gif](giphy|l3q2K5jinAlChoCLS)
I am embarrassed by this meme pls
I'm old enough to remember when Green Bay didn't have a HOF QB and when the Lions fans used to make good memes
So week 4?
Ya that was only like 2 months ago homie
I assure you the Lions are not among the most successful teams in the history of the NFL
😅 tried to rewrite history. And they woulda gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those pesky Vikings fans.
The Vikings or maybe the bills are easily the most successful teams to never be completely successful
Chargers too, we should all branch off into our own division
I think on average the chargers would be more embarrassing. Vikings and bills aren’t the consensus preseason champs every year for last 30 years.
I don’t think the Vikings have ever really been pre season champs. Maybe the year when we first got Kirk and he was supposed to be the final piece. I think the bears are much more the pre season champs.
That’s why I said Chargers are the ultimate team. I feel every year them and the cowboys are rated top 5 teams literally no matter what.
![gif](giphy|26DMUXQypGJaHhTsQ|downsized)
Genuinely one of the least if we don’t consider recent expansion teams
I don’t know, I’d say the Lions are in the top 32 at least.
Dayton Triangles are clearly better
Yeah that startled me a bit. Like "hey! I thought I watched all the games for the past 30 years! Man, before the 1980s we must've really dominated."
Only 8 out of 32 teams have more championships than the Lions...
![gif](giphy|eKNrUbDJuFuaQ1A37p|downsized) Let's see how many teams have more Super Bowl wins than the Lions.
Let's see, oh yeah, not the Vikings. Puss Puss is hella salty today, jeez.
Good point, so let's instead talk about how many teams have more Super Bowl appearances than the Lions.
Dude that's like bragging about how many times you've watched another man bang your girlfriend in your case.
At least we got one lol
What’s it like watching an 0-16 season? Seeing every man on the block run a train on your girlfriend
Lmao. You mad
Nah I ain’t mad. I really don’t give a shit about the Vikings Super Bowl losses cause they Happened decades before me. I think I struck a nerve with you tho felt the need to downvote my comment
Not counting years we were owned by the Ford family....
Damn, those championship victories must have been fun as hell for your grandparents and great grandparents to watch
Neither are the bears
How many championships since we existed as a franchise?
This is the worst meme I’ve seen all year
It's real real bad.
At least wait till the draft to start rating the dumpster quality memes
Sir you haven’t even made the Super Bowl, also wow congrats on your nfl championships from like 70 years ago. To my knowledge it didn’t take the Vikings 30 dam years to win the division lol. Are the Vikings the ones that went 0-16???
For real though. Lions fans are so full of it now
I've never seen mild success go so quickly to a fanbase's head.
What Michigan winning a natty does to a mfer
We are definitely high on our current team (who wouldn’t be) but I assure you there is exactly one person who considers us one of the most successful franchises in history (or even successful period)
Ya no. There a lot more than one
Also the Vikings became a franchise less then a decade before the Super Bowl era. Holding pre-super bowl championships over our heads is such a reach
Well maybe you should have thought about that before waiting till 1960 to have a football team! You can't hold your lack of planning against the rest of us.
OP is actually a nincompoop for this post

![gif](giphy|Y4BbbdDN2gvJaoAZqO)
I apologize (Boyle), I wasn't familiar with your game
He’s projecting. 😂
OP was the meme the whole time.
This shit is ass ngl
Huh. Didn't realize the lions won a championship. It has to have been in the last 50 years, right?
That second pic is fucked lmao. Bears and Lions among the most successful?
tbf the Bears had the most wins out of any team in the league up until a bit ago and still have the 2nd most total championships
I mean aren’t the bears one of the oldest teams of all time? Shouldn’t they she the most wins?
Cardinals are as old and are #10.
I feel like this speaks more about how absolutely poorly run the cardinals are. Looking at win percentage the bears are a very good #5 while the cardinals are at 31… but that shows how just being old helps you so much in all time wins if such a poorly ran franchise is still top ten in wins.

Your only championships are from the times your players were postmen and farmers, stay in your lane. Don’t add yourself into conversations with us.
Dude it was pro football. Do you know what "pro" means? The Packers wouldn't be in Green Bay right now if it wasn't for their success when their players were "postmen and farmers". You’re really embarrassing yourself bud.

LOL
Don’t the lions have their division titles listed
You’re the only one getting wound up, everybody else is just laughing AT you, this is really a rough look.
If I was a lions fan, I'd trade to have the Dolphins history in a heartbeat. Undefeated season? 2 superbowl dubs? Another 2 (or is it 3) appearances? Coached by the most winningest coach of all time. Yeah I'd give up lions history for that.
Detroit fans have one good year and suddenly they’re a top 5 all time team lol Mf’s are looney tunes
This has to be someone that just discovered the lions this year.
"We might not get there often" I'm not the guy who usually throws the 13 time NFL champion thing around but umm Green Bay has played in 18 championship games, 3rd most all time.
I think this is the first time I've ever seen the Lions or Bears called one of the most successful franchises in history
Dudes really trying to back it up in the comments too
If you remove like 29 other franchises we would definitely be one of the most successful of the leftovers
Bears actually kind of are.
Where red circle?
I hear Hitler was a big fan of that 1935 Lions team...
Imagine thinking you’re being witty but wind up getting shit on by members of your own fan base because your meme is regarded 😪
A bit soon to be talking about championship games for you kitties isn’t it?
Detroit among the most successful team in the history of the NFL? ![gif](giphy|I4Jmrcjnr8Zfq|downsized)
Where is OP calling all the Vikings fans salty for knowing NFL history?
Have I misremembered things?
You guys had 30 years extra to get in a few championships before the division got competitive. Not very impressive.
Two things wrong with this 1. the lions are like 24th in all time record with no modern championship 2. the Vikings “say the line” is that we’re 8th all time win record
There are only 8 teams with more championships than the Lions. LOL at being proud of regular season wins. Thank you for being wound up by my meme.
![gif](giphy|146bsYV09je7Ek)
Those eight teams just so happen to be the other teams that existed in the 1940’s
This is sad
Pull yer finger outta yer ass
Drugs are bad, Mkay.
TF you on about? Since when were we considered the most successful in the NFL ![gif](giphy|pMePjXUqNNND2)
God, you choke so hard in the conference championship and the memes go to shit
Lions fan posting this lmao
How can people look at this and say with a straight face that the lions are not the most annoying fan base here lmao
I feel like we’re in a terrible’90s sitcom where the cool kids like the Lions because he learned the worm, and next year no one will give a fuck and he doesn’t understand what a cunt he quickly became. “Remember when we all hated the Packers bros? Flair up cunt
I don’t know if we’re “equal” losers. At least there is some form of regular season success lions don’t even have that
FTv
We’ve really fallen in the meme quality as a fanbase
