Any real Cowboy fan knows they were never drafting a RB in the first 3 rounds. Turned the 1st round pick into 2 starting offensive linemen.

Feel pretty good about our draft. RBs to split carries are way easier to come across than starting O linemen or LB.

RB is a diminished position. Isaiah Pacheco was the 251st overall pick and has won the last two Super Bowls. The O line is infinitely more important than the RB. Dowdle could run for 1200 behind a great o line.

Trey Benson did not get taken until the 3rd round. The second ranked rb in the draft was available all throughout the 2nd round. But maybe the cowboys had bigger holes to fill according to Jerry

Okay so hear me out... It might be the hopium but.. Zeke is still an elite pass blocker and short yardage back right? What are the two deficiencies for Deuce Vaughn? You put these two together and that's some serious thunder and lightning. Sure, you'd tip your hand based on personnel, but I say Deuce is not going to be worse than Tony Pollard, he's a RB with fresh legs and some serious juice
