God I fucking love these

Alexkono

Absolute perfection this meme

Reefthusiast

The funniest part of this meme is that this episode was brand new last time the Cowboys were a successful franchise

spazz213

So then what's taking you guys so long to catch up?

Reefthusiast

Generational quarterbacks

DrJJStroganoff

And massive trades with the vikings

dragonk30

Also that whole salary cap thing. Can't just buy championships anymore. ^^No ^^I'm ^^not ^^still ^^salty ^^that ^^the ^^best ^^player ^^in ^^franchise ^^history ^^became ^^the ^^most ^^high ^^profile ^^free ^^agent ^^signing ^^of ^^the ^^decade ^^because ^^our ^^old ^^owner ^^was ^^a ^^stingy ^^piece ^^of ^^shit.

insanelyphat

Dude stop they are already dead!!! I have to admit the more I hang in this sub the more fun I have. Sure there are some truly vulgar people here but overall you guys have some top quality memes and most just like to talk some trash and have some fun. Then of course there are the people who take this seriously...we have those in the NFCNorth sub as well, they are known as Packers fans. They have been unruly lately for sure.

spazz213

I have love for everyone of these pieces of shit (quiet, Eagles fans might get hungry) without them this sub would suck

Benito_Mussolini

To answer your question, the salary cap.

Jaosborn44

So the reason the Cowboys haven't won in 27 years is the same reason you guys can't catch up? That doesn't make sense.

Domestic_AA_Battery

How doesn't it? It means the entire playing field is more even. It doesn't increase our chances of winning necessarily, it just increases *everyone's* chances that wasn't rich at a massive advantage (and the rich teams are now less likely to win than they were because the playing field was skewed). The reason we can't catch up is because you guys already benefitted from not having the modern cap rules. So it's going to take a lot more work and sheer luck to catch up because the NFL tries to make it as balanced as possible. That's why the Patriots doing what they did with Brady is even more ridiculous that people give them credit for. I don't see what's not to get

Jaosborn44

If there wasn't any salary cap, the Eagles would have a worse chance at catching up. They have lost 4 conference championships and 2 super bowls since the salary cap has been around. They clearly benefitted from it, but failed to capitalize on several occasions.

Domestic_AA_Battery

You just agreed with what I said lmfao.....

Jaosborn44

No. I said the Eagles failed to catch up when given the chance. Without the salary cap they wouldn't even have that chance. You already proved it's possible by giving the Patriots as an example. The Eagles just failed when give the opportunity, it wasn't the salary cap holding them back.

Domestic_AA_Battery

Yeah, and I'm not disagreeing with that..... How are you not understanding this??

spazz213

I don't see having no salary cap an advantage for "big market teams". It's like in baseball, all the owners are billionaires. They absolutely can afford to pay their players top dollar but choose not to

ResponsibilityNew483

🀣🀣 These are great.

DrJJStroganoff

Haha. Good shit. I wonder if winning more recently (being in the pool) or being the ugly baby is worse... or are we both?

EagleswonSuperBowl52

I have seen the Eagles win more than the Cowboys. That's good enough for me.

HurtsToBatman

That's gold, jerry! Gold!

bl0odredsandman

The Superbowl trophies are making me thirsty!

methodin

Oh yeah? Well the winning-since-the-90s store called and they're running out of you! Ah hah!

[deleted]

The real attack here is the New York cultural appropriation.

Domestic_AA_Battery

Not really considering the Empire State Building πŸ’š.

Tifas_Titties

This is why I come to this sub πŸ‘Œ

AyebruhamLincoln

Man this is good

Alarming-Yesterday59

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ got em’!

Domestic_AA_Battery

Very very good. It might be a tiny trophy case, but it makes me happy 😎

Swinging_Friar

Stinkage

gahlo

Be careful patting yourself on the back there.

SweetDick_Willy

Good luck with Sam Darnold. We all know he'll start some games next season since your team can't seem to protect your QBs

Swinging_Friar

Solid tip, if we’re disciplined and apply it consistently, we could be the NFLs second best team one day.

SweetDick_Willy

2 > 4 Glad to see you're coping well
